I have used A J Marsden Ltd for a number of years, not only did they fit my combi boiler but service it and my gas fire annually. They are always on time, never cancel your appointment and are happy to do additional work when requested. They are clean, tidy and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend this company.

After using Andrew and his team for some central heating work last year we contacted Andrew for a small job to fix noisy pipes. He called out very quickly to assess and Dean completed the job the next week and it has made a big difference. Very impressed

Dean and Sam carried out the radiator replacement work today and we could not have been happier with their professional and conscientious attitude, whilst carrying out the installation work. Nothing was too much trouble and they did a very good job of tidying up after they carried out their work. I would definitely recommend them for carrying out any central heating work, boiler servicing, and general plumbing/bathroom installations.

My boiler was leaking and A J Marsden were able to send someone out early the next day. The likely work required and quote were completed over the phone with Andy who was fantastic, and the invoice I received reflected the quote exactly. The engineer who came out was excellent, efficient, and very polite and considerate. 6/5 would heartlily reccommend.

I sent for my service engineer to repair my Central Heating Boiler. He said that he had to replace the boiler because it was unsafe. He then went on to say that it would be 8 days before they could look at options, for the way forward. I decided to look at other options and checked Trust a Traders in the area. Andrew Marsden came up as one of the options. I contacted him and arranged for him to visit, on the 3rd of January. He came was very polite and respectful. He examined the system, recognised the extent of the work that needed doing, and explained in detail what he recommended was the way forward. We then had the opportunity to discuss with him our thoughts and agreed that he would go away and provide us with a quote and the timescale for the work to be carried out. He sent his recommendation for the make of the Boiler, and the layout of the pipework etc. Also the price and date for installation. Andrew's presentation gave us confidence to trust him, and so we agreed the deal. Dean his son carried out the installation on the 9th of January and completed the work on the 10th. So from being let down by our own service engineer, (baring in mind that we are in the middle of winter), the work was carried out by Andrew, in quick time, at a fair price and efficiently installed. I have every confidence in the man. Also full marks to Trust a Trader.

2nd time we have used AJ Marsden, as before Andy called around at the time and date agreed via email, Andy looked at what we wanted and recommended what we should do and then gave us a price for the job, we agreed on the price and then sorted the date and time for fitting, On the day a knock on the door and away they went, put down sticky sheets over all walkways and the job got going, (nice to make them a coffee at this point), job was done with very little mess and left as they found the house, I would 100% recommend AJ Marsden and I will be using there service again, Thank you Simon S

I contacted AJ Marsden to upgrade my elderly relatives boiler. Having used them myself at my previous address I knew I could rely on them. Andy, Dean and their team did a top job upgrading a very old boiler to a brand new Worcester Bosch combi boiler. From point of contact and initial survey all the way through to completion they did a fantastic job. They worked hard to get the new boiler working the same day to ensure my relatives had heating and hot water. Dean was an absolute star. We were having a new kitchen fitted and the boiler unexpectedly went. From first call Dean came to look at short notice which was greatly appreciated, initially he came to see if the boiler could be repaired but turned out needed a replacement. The boiler was ordered and fitted within a great time frame and also timed around other traders who were less reliable! All in all great service a fair price friendly approach and tidy work completed. Very happy!

The guys from A J Marsden recently created an en suite for us in a property we’d just bought. We had used the team before for lots of work on the previous property including boiler replacement, new bathroom and kitchen so they were the only company we wanted to do our new en suite and boiler replacement. Fortunately we were on holiday when the work was done so came back after two weeks to an immaculate new en suite created from scratch. The standard of work is absolutely top end as always and the team are always on hand should you have any questions. If you’re looking for a high end finish these are the guys to use.

Andy, Dean and Sam worked really hard from start to finish to make my bathroom just perfect. Always punctual, extremely trustworthy and extremely tidy. They started and ended on the exact dates they stated. Always at the end of the phone if there were any queries. Highly recommend their work.

Very friendly and helpful, managed to leave the house tidy in spite of how much work they were undertaking & also completed everything within the timeframe agreed. Sam arrived at the arranged time and carried out the boiler servicing diligently. He was respectful of our property e.g. took his boots off, and pleasant to deal with. The cost of the work was as previously agreed with Andy. We have an issue with one of our radiators (valves need replacing) and will certainly ask Andy to carry out this work later in the year.

Dean and Sam did a great job removing an old boiler and moving and servicing an existing boiler. They arrived exactly when they said they would and worked non stop all day. They were polite and easy going and left everywhere tidy. I will use them again and thoroughly recommend them.

Really struggled to find a plumber to replace an old radiator and Marsden’s was the only company to quote. What stood out was their professionalism, communication and the quality of the work was brilliant. (They left the workspace immaculately clean too). The price they quoted seemed fair and they now have a customer for life.

AJ Marsden replaced my boiler in 2014 and have serviced it annually since then. I contacted them this winter because my radiators weren't getting very hot downstairs. It was assumed it would just be a failed pump. If only life were so simple! As well as the pump, the motorised valve needed replacing and the cold feed and vent section of the pipework was nearly completely blocked. Several hours later with a new pump, motorised valve and some shiny new pipework installed my heating has been transformed. (With hindsight I realise it's not worked properly for a long time.) AJ Marsden are always highly professional and friendly and always clean up after themselves and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

Top Class service from start to finish, emailed to start the process off, then Andrew come around to measure up and sent me via email the choice of radiators, then gave me quote, we agreed a date. On arrival Dean covered the flooring, so any mess would not damage the carpets etc, the work was done to a superb standard, clean up after they had finished, checked everything was working at least 10 times. Couldn’t ask for anything more and Dean did email to ask any questions if we had any. 10 out 10 and when we need anything plumbing heating doing again, we won’t hesitate to ask. Thank you again for the work that was done to a very high standard, and the easy from start to finish.

AJMARSDEN fitted a new Worcester Bosch gas combi boiler and replaced 2 radiators on 23/08/2022 Andy and his team performed a great job in replacing my old boiler with a new one and replacing two really old radiators with new, modern, efficient ones. They also performed a flush of the whole system. Andy's initial visit was thorough, courteous and highly professional. He went through various options and also suggested a test to determine where there might be a problem with my current boiler. He produced a detailed written proposal for the work to be done and we agreed a date. Dean and Sam arrived promptly on the agreed date and carried out the work in a very professional way. They put down dust sheeting to protect the areas where they were working. They were friendly and helpful throughout and cleared up after themselves removing all the rubbish.

Andy and his lovely team have just completed a fabulous job on my new home. 1. Fitted a new Worcester Bosch Boiler complete with new radiators. 2. Supplied and fitted a wet room complete with tiling and accessories. 3 Supplied and fitted my kitchen, complete with Neff hide and slide oven and microwave and fridge freezer. Worktop was fitted with marble quartz. I am so happy with the result of all work. My kitchen was a challenge given yo Andy due to the size. He most certainly met that challenge and designed and advised me at each stage. I have used Andy's team before when having work done in my previous home eg having a boiler and radiators fitted, a new shower and bed taps. It was a no brained to use them again. They are all lovely lads and provide a top quality job. They come when they say they will (a rarity these days) A big thank you to Andy, Dean, Sam and Matt. They are so friendly.

I recently used AJ Marsden Ltd for a new Boiler to replace my old one and also upgrade to a Hive Smart Thermostat at the same time. I was super impressed with every step of this journey, from initial fast response from Andy and site visit within 24hrs to understand what was required in more detail, followed by same day competitive quote. The team that fitted the boiler, Dean and Sam, were also first class, arrived on time, very friendly and professional and completed all the work in one day with no issues. Hive Thermostat was fitted at the same time by Phil the electrician and he also corrected a few wiring issues from previous install. After a few days we felt the water was hotter than should be and Dean kindly offered to come out to adjust next day at 8am, which eventually was not required but impressed that it was offered. Overall, great service from an experienced team and would have no hesitation highly recommending to my friends and family.

AJ Marsden recently fitted a new bathroom. Andy came out to measure up. He then sent out different ideas and links to brochures. Andy also suggested shops we could visit to see items. The quote was set out clearly, detailing every item. The team of Dean, Sam and Matt were very polite, friendly and professional. They kept us informed of what they would be doing each day and left our home as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each day. The job was completed on time. There were a couple of minor issues afterwards, but after contacting Andy these were resolved straight away. We are really pleased with our new bathroom and would recommend the company.

I first contacted the firm by email via their website and Andrew came round to discuss what I needed. He sent me links to catalogues so I could browse through some different bathroom units etc. Once I’d chosen, he then gave me a detailed quote. I kept changing my mind but he revised the quote and we agreed everything. There was no pressure at any time and Andrew gave me loads of helpful advice. I was replacing the sinks in the bathroom and downstairs loo with new sinks and cabinets, a new folding shower screen, wall cupboard and a couple of other bits. The guys turned up on time and were cheerful and friendly. The units they fitted are beautiful quality and their workmanship was outstanding. They finished earlier than expected and cleared every scrap away, every bit of packaging and all the sinks and other bits they’d removed. They left the place spotless and I’m so pleased with the new units and folding shower screen.

When we needed a new radiator we had no hesitation in contacting Andy. The company has done excellent previous work for us in the past and we have always been happy with the work. Had a good look around the internet for best appropriate boiler for our needs, then got a few quotes, some online some in person, phoned Andy and arranged time and date for his quote, He arrived bang on time , we explained we wanted a new boiler to replace old one, quick look around and told us what he recommended for the boiler type (same one I thought of 👍) and what the job would entail and how long it would take, also went on to say all floor area would be covered . Promised itemized quote would be delivered next day and so it was. Happy with price very competitive. We fixed the installation date and waited. Day 1, Dean and Sam turned up 8.30 , introduced themselves and removed shoes as they entered. Promptly layed the floor covering down then started dismantling old boiler, they worked quickly and had a short lunch break, by the end of first day new boiler installed with minimum of fuss or mess, left everything tidy for us and departed, Day 2 , arrived 8.30 asked if everything was ok with heating overnight, finished off installation, did chemical flush of system constantly checking for leaks etc, removed old tank etc from loft and cleared every bit of rubbish away, last minute checks everywhere, They then show and explained everything on the boiler controls and on the remote. All told an excellent experience from start to finish, no hassle no dramas. Extremely professional company with excellent communication and would definitely use again and recommend.

We had Dean and Sam from AJ Marsden working in our home for 2 days, everything went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier. From Andy coming to quote us in the first place, to job finished, it has run smoothly. Even with the large amount of work they had to do to install our new boiler in its new site and remove all our old tanks etc, the mess was kept to a minimum and they cleared up after themselves each day.

I contacted Andrew Marsden and made an appointment for him to call at my home to discuss a possible contract. I was made to feel completely at ease in talking about our requirements and agreed for Andrew to provide a quotation for a particular boiler together with an installation date . The actual installer was Dean Marsden and was completed in a very competent and efficient manner. Dean was very friendly throughout the installation and I have no hesitation in recommending A J Marsden Ltd as a Worcester Bosch Boiler installer. I actually had a query about the boiler operation a few days after installation and this was very quickly resolved when Dean visited a few days later.

We have used Dean 4 times before, for various installation works to en suites and tanks, so no hesitation in asking him again when a new gas boiler was required. As usual, work was done efficiently, respectfully, on time and to budget. When unexpectedly some electrical safety work was required, Dean arranged a qualified electrician to come that day and resolve the issue, at no charge to us. Ie the quote was fully honoured. We are so glad we chose Marsden’s to fit and tile our new bathroom. AJ Marsden installed and commissioned an Ambidente Underfloor heating system. It was installed in the timeframe they gave me with no problems at all. Also supplied the Tiler Matt who also provided a top-class installation. Very professional outfit, which is quite refreshing in the current climate and a pleasure to deal.

Andy is excellent - we had boiler problems over winter and he came round the next day to replace a leaking part. When we found out our radiators were only luke-warm a couple days later, he was happy to return, flush out the system and only leave when we were satisfied. We've used A J Marsden for a couple years to service the boiler, but this was the 1st time we've had a problem and they were great to be able to squeeze us in, while we had heating problems and a baby in the house. Great service!

Sam (fully masked) arrived at the scheduled time and checked the safety of the household due to covid restrictions. He proceeded to carry out the service with no problems from what I saw ... cleaned filters checked gas pressure etc., and gave me some advice on the possibility of extending the balanced flue pipe. At my request, he also checked a leaking radiator valve and gave feedback. A very tidy and efficient worker, good rapport with the customer and I'm very satisfied with the work carried out.

I was working on the front line at the hospital and was worried at the time that no-one would come given the situation! A J Marsden came right away and fitted us with a brand new boiler. Found this company via Which trusted trader and used them to replace my boiler. Dean was a pleasant, friendly, polite and professional person. The work was done quickly and to a high standard with everything left very tidy when finished. Will definitely be using AJ Marsden again when I replace my downstairs toilet. Highly recommended.

A J Marsden have now completed 3 projects for me in the last 9 months. Two complete Bathroom refurbishments and a boiler replacement. I initially found them via Which recommended Traders (along with two others) in November 2019. All three Traders were sent a full sanitary & finishes specification including a drawing so they all quoted on a like for like basis. Andrew Marsden was the first to respond and as it turned out returned the best price of the three. I won’t mention names of the other Traders but one of them quoted £Thousands more for exactly the same work. The installation date was agreed and all work was carried out to a very high standard and in the specified timescale. This included all building, electrical, plumbing, plastering and tiling works. The level of finish was excellent. There are some dodgy tilers about so rest assured you are getting a good one with Marsdens. The cleanliness of the installation was also well considered. All carpets protected with self adhesive film & debris removed to the skip regularly. So it followed from this job to the next. Replacing an old traditional boiler and hot water cylinder with a new high efficiency Worcester Combi boiler. If you’ve ever attempted this yourself you’ll know just how messy it can be. Especially removing the cylinder, cold water tank and heating expansion tank in the loft. Made it look easy, completed in 2 days. Finally the Ensuite bathroom, the pièce de résistance in my opinion completed in October. Superb.

That time of year again for the boiler's annual service and to validate the Worcester 10 year guarantee it has to be done by a Worcester Accredited Installer. With the way things are at the moment, we were worried that we could not get our boiler serviced in time because COVID 19 has thrown everything up in the air. An email reply from AJ Marsden assured me that Worcester had allowed servicing to be up to 6 months late because of COVID. This gave us peace of mind that the Guarantee would not be affected. This is taken from the Worcester website; An annual service is essential to maintain the performance of the boiler and to validate the guarantee – this can be flexed for up to 6 months during this time. We’re committed to supporting you through this period and will ensure we offer flexibility around servicing timescales.

Dean came round and removed our radiator before the living room was decorated. Once living room was decorated (5 days later) Dean came back, moved the pipes and installed the new radiator. (Which he helped Choose for our room and colour scheme) Excellent service throughout, your recommend and will use again.

The scope of the work included replacing a combi boiler (18 years old) and all the radiators in the house (33 years old). It also included moving the position of several radiators, Following a thorough discussion with Andrew Marsden during his visit to the house, he provided a written quote. This was discussed and revised to my satisfaction prior to the work commencing. The work was carried out during the advised timescale exactly to the agreed scope of works. I am a qualified electrical engineer and have many years experience of skilled tradesman. The installation carried out by Dean, Sam and Andrew exceeded my expectations for the following reasons :- All carpets and delicate surfaces were fully protected prior to the work commencing. The dialogue between Dean and myself was maintained throughout the 4 days of installation. This provided a two way process to ensure both parties were satisfied that the work was installed to my expectation. All my questions were answered in a polite professional manner. The testing of the installed system was extremely thorough and I was a shown how to set up and operate the control system at the boiler, via the remote thermostat and associated phone app. Overall I cannot fault the attitude, politeness and communication during the work. On completion I was handed over all the completed documentation and provided with information regarding after care. Fantastic job particular as this type of work can significantly disrupt the whole house.

We've used Marsdens for many years from when they originally fitted our boiler. They've been servicing it and doing other odd jobs ever since. Always happy with the work carried out and will continue to use them in the future.

Even though we are in the middle of difficult times, our first annual service was completed today by Dean. We have had a trouble free year with the boiler Andrew and his team fitted last year and the first service was another trouble free experience. Andy and Dean fitted three top end bathrooms in my home in Didsbury, Manchester. Andy quoted me a price and emailed a works schedule. We used Andy and dean for fitting our boiler 5 years ago. They service every year and always quick on time and friendly. They came recommended by friends and we have also recommended them to other family. We wouldn’t go any where else.

Our boiler was more than 20 years old, I took the quote from 3 different companies but I found Andy advised was very simple and straight forward. In the mean time in November our boiler completely broke down with no hot water and heating it was not the best time, I requested Andy to replace the old boiler with new one asap, he accepted the request to install new boiler with in two days. On Wednesday Dean the gas engineer arrived on time, was courteous, tidy. The installation of our new boiler was completed and we are thrilled.. highly recommend this company as totally professional and arrive and action things when they say they will. 5 stars! I just want to add note here, our boiler installation was not very straight forward because it require to run another 28mm gas pipe (about 20 meters) from gas meter to kitchen which was also involved to take out roof tiles but job done very professionally!

Have seen three of Andy's previous contract's for friends so when we decided to upgrade Andy was the obvious choice. Loads of good, honest and sensible advice for both the central heating and the bathroom/toilet which we followed and which culminated with excellent results. Very happy with the sanitary fitments, tiling etc and the overall finish is first class. Central heating and hot water working very efficiently and latest bills drastically reduced. Good working team for the whole installation (Dean, Sam and Mat etc.) and Andy liaising with them and us throughout the contract. A company well worth considering.

I had a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler installed to replace an old and unreliable unit of a different make. Andrew responded quickly to my initial enquiry, provided a competitive quotation and answered all my questions thoroughly. The installation team were very efficient and tidy and carefully explained the operation of the new system. Afterwards there was a minor issue with the registration of the warranty with Worcester Bosch but Andrew rapidly resolved the matter with them on my behalf. Had an electric shower replaced, the work was completed to schedule and for the price quoted which was very reasonable. He was also very clean and tidy, like he had never even been there. Unable to regulate water temperature in a shower. Problem was diagnosed as a faulty valve. Andrew provided a clear quotation explaining what was involved which included breaking tiles and replacing with new ones. We also asked for a new shower screen to be installed. Dean arrived on the agreed date to undertake the work and before anything was done he protected the floor with adhesive plastic. Dean was respectful and careful with the property and explained the situation regularly. The job was completed, including the new tiling, to a high standard and all rubbish removed carefully leaving the property in as clean a condition as could be expected. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for plumbing and heating work and am confident in saying that the work will be excellent.

I asked Andrew round to quote on a new boiler to compare with the one from British Gas. His experience of the work was apparent immediately, answering all questions, and explaining how they would get around foreseen problems I thought I'd better warn him about. I then asked about getting a thermostatic shower/taps for the bathroom since the boiler was going to be more than capable and my current electric shower needed replacing. After another brief visit to check the bathroom for work needed, Andrew gave a very reasonable price for parts and labour considering the quality of the taps and shower suggested. A week after quoting me Andrew got in touch to advise that a new boiler, greenstar i8000 lifestyle had just been released and asked if I'd like to upgrade for now a large increase in cost. I said yes please Both days of the two day job the two lads, (sorry I'm terrible for remembering names) appeared at 8am on the dot and got stuck in. Andrew arrived halfway through day one to advise as the boiler was so new he'd had problems getting one, so had gone for a higher spec to avoid postponing the install but absorbed the extra cost. These guys are definitely getting any future business.

Andy and Dean helped to solve a low hot water pressure problem for us by installing an unvented cylinder. They also moved various central heating radiators, fitted shower and sink pipes, doing both first and second fixes at different dates to suit our needs. All work was done with care to a high standard, they were very pleasant people to have in your home, and answered all our questions clearly. All at a fair price. We will certainly use them again for any further work, and would strongly recommend them to others.

We had several quotes for our new boiler but from the discussion with Andrew on his initial visit, his knowledge and experience shone through. Andy first came to quote for the replacement boiler, he explained the process thoroughly and came back with a very competitive quote the same day. When the guys came around to replace the boiler they made sure all protective flooring was fitted to prevent causing any damage and made sure everything was clean and tidy once completed. They replaced the boiler the within a day and we was back up and running. Overall the service from start to finish was profession and I highly recommend them.

The installation & level of service was to a very high standard. Our old boiler had broken down & Andrew was able to provide us with a very prompt service in the middle of winter. Andy and his lads fitted me a new Worcester boiler, changed the piping on all my radiators, installed one new radiator and put a new kitchen sink and tap in for me. Because I had moved house and the old boiler was 30yrs old, I needed new piping coming from the gas main to meet todays regulations. They covered my carpets with plastic covering and took care when moving my furniture. Andy installed my new boiler on the first day whilst the lads changed all the pipework. Brilliant job completed in one day with minimal disruption to our household and no mess. I’ve used A J Marsden Ltd before to convert an en suite area into a wet room and was delighted with the outcome so using them to replace an ageing boiler was a no brainer. The job wasn’t straightforward as access was restricted since the boiler was located in a small utility room and fitted under a granite worktop. Despite this Dean and his colleague were able to remove and replace the boiler without having to remove the worktop. They installed new pipe work and made good the external brickwork to match. They put in a long shift but left our place clean and tidy. All for a reasonable price with a 10 year guarantee.

I can't fault the service provided by Andy and his team. They turned up at the pre-arranged time and completed the job with a minimum of fuss. I knew I was is safe hands when Dean arrived at 08:00 and immediately started to cover floors and work surfaces with a protective plastic covering. Dean and Andy worked constantly from the moment they arrived to the moment they left at 17:00, ensuring the job (fit a new boiler, change a radiator, and remove an airlock from a downstairs radiator) was completed in one day. To say I was delighted with the standard of work completed would be an understatement. The follow up care was also spot on - the registration documents arrived from Worcester-Bosch a couple of days later, as did the Gas Safe certification. If you want a company who do what they say they will do at the time they say they will do it then A J Marsden Ltd. are an excellent choice.

Thoroughly impressed from the first quote to the final commissioning of my new 42CDi boiler in the garage to replace an old gravity system. I've used AJ Marsden at least 3 times now for a central heating installation, kitchen and most recently a bathroom. Their workmanship is absolutely top grade everytime, never had any problems, all of Andy's guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. We've had issues with some radiators not getting hot since moving into our house a couple of years ago. I found AJ Marsden online, they came and recommended a chemical clean & power flush which they performed yesterday. The results are brilliant, not only are the problem radiators getting hot now, even the OK ones are hotter than they used to be, so I'm sure we will start saving money on our heating bills right away. The engineers who visited were very good, they took their shoes off as soon as they got in the house, they covered floorings with plastic and were very clean & tidy. I felt happy to just leave them to it and shut myself in another room to work without worrying if they were making any mess. They cleaned everything up before leaving and left no mess at all. This is how it should be but I know from experience that some tradespeople aren't this respectful of other's property! I will use them again for any plumbing jobs and will recommend them to anyone.

I had several companies quote for the Supply and Installation of a new boiler in November 2016. A J Marsden ltd were not the cheapest but there was not a significant difference in the prices quoted however there was an enormous difference in the standard of information given and the expert way in which my enquiry was handled. I asked for an Installation date before Christmas and despite the fact this is a very busy time for new boiler installations I was given a date of the 12 December 2016. The actual Installation took place a day early and was completed within the day. The two engineers arrived on time and laid dustsheets everywhere and on completion everything was returned to the same condition as when they arrived apart from the brand-new Worcester Boiler hanging on the wall. The boiler has been installed for almost 6 months now and has worked perfectly, it is covered by a full 10-year Manufacturer warranty, not a limited period warranty as offered by other suppliers for the same product. I have no hesitation in recommending AJ Marsden Ltd, this is an excellent company with expert and friendly staff.

Having know Andy and his team for over 10 years and using their services previously there was no doubt that we would use him and his team to assist with our house renovation. AJ Marsden have been contracted to do many jobs on my home over the last nine years , a new ensuite completed over nine years ago is still looking great and functioning perfectly. They installed a new condenser boiler four yrs ago and again it is working really well , having been serviced annually by them for a fraction of the cost charged by other companies.Recently they have installed a new family bathroom which looks fantastic. We were living with a very old and inefficient boiler for years as we had been put off stories about boiler installation and after sales service. Finally we had a new boiler put in September 2015 by AJ Marsden who were highly recommended by our bathroom fitters. Andrew and his son, Dean inspected the area where the boiler could best be installed and came up with a competitive quote. They are both very polite and courteous people to deal with and answered all our queries and reassured us totally. The installation took place exactly as planned. The job on the day got prolonged due to unavoidable reasons but they stuck to the task and finished it at around 8.30pm. After a very long and hard day,Dean still found the time to explain the thermostat settings to us and cleaned up the place quite adequately. Subsequently we have had one minor problem with the boiler pressure which was sorted out most promptly by Andrew.
