AJ Rogers were recommended to us through our builders when we were doing a complete refurb of our house and an extension and they provided and fitted herringbone Amtico across the ground floor of our house and did such an amazing and precise job. The whole process went smoothly from visiting the show room and chatting with Gemma about options and receiving samples, to them working alongside our builders and getting the floor fitted beautifully and on time. When it came to having carpets fitted upstairs we went with a cheaper chain carpet company, Not A J Rogers (as funds were running low at the end of the project) and we regretted it. It took 6 months for the carpets to be finally fitted and it was really disruptive. A final room recently needed carpet and we went with a small local company as we are not local to AJ Rogers. After months of extremely poor communication and customer service, delayed/cancelled fittings and damaged carpet, we cancelled and called Gemma from AJ Rogers and she and the team have been amazing at every step and absolutely saved the day and I wish we had gone with them from the beginning. Superb customer service, very responsive on the phone and emails, and their team of fitters were brilliant, navigating lots of stairs with heavy carpet and fitting it perfectly, cleaning beautifully before they left. Would highly recommend them for an excellent job done in a stress free manner.

We had an Amtico floor fitted by Rogers. From our first visit to the showroom to the completed floor everyone was very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend using them.

Had our landing and staircase carpeted with a trim which was quite a statement but we are so pleased with the outcome, it’s definitely a wow factor. The guys were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble and very tidy and on time every day. Have used Rogers before and it’s definitely our go to family business for the future

We needed the hall stairs and landing re carpeted and from start to finish the old carpet was removed and the new carpet laid within the 3 days quoted. We are extremely happy with the result and I highly recommend Rogers if you are considering installing carpet

A J Rogers' employees have been first rate professionals for many years. We last used their services and products about thirty years ago. They have now supplied and fitted our bathroom, landing and staircase with ease and facility. The vinyl supplied for the bathroom was entirely defective but the team dealt with this promptly and efficiently and twenty-four hours later, a new supply was available and fitted. I am very happy with the result and look forward to new carpet also in my bedroom in a month's time. Thank you so much. I will be returning in the future.

I used Rogers a few years ago to install laminate flooring. I went back to them recently to have 3 rooms carpeted - a big exercise in terms of preparing rooms for work to be carried out. The exercise from start to finish, ie. visiting the showroom, taking home numerous samples and the actual work carried out, was first rate. The fitters were particularly helpful with moving heavy furniture. Five star service.

We have used AJ Rogers previously and have always been happy with the service provided. They have just installed a new carpet in our spare bedroom/playroom and have done an excellent job, on time and on budget.

I am a returning customer as I had the whole of my downstairs laid with Amtico and my stairs and landing carpeted in 2017. They have survived the test of time and are still looking great. I returned to A J Rogers to lay new floors in my bathroom/WC renovation and am delighted with the end result. Estimate was provided promptly and the fitting all went according to plan. Fitters are professional and pleasant to have in my home. It really was a painless experience, which is rare nowadays.

We’ve just had our lounge, landing and stairs, and two bedrooms re-carpeted by A J R. For advice, clarity of pricing, helpfulness and efficiency, they were superb - both the sales and office staff and the fitters. You might find a bit cheaper but you won’t find better. Good value for the premium service you get.

Had new living room carpet fitted. Staff at shop were very helpful in helping select type and colour of carpet. Dan came to provide an estimate. Confirmed existing tape and latex underlay and gripper all ok. But provided a pick and mix estimate for 2 different carpet types. No attempt to upsell. Explained what fitters would do if they found any issues. Operations were really helpful and flexible when I had to rearrange the fitting date when furniture delivery was delayed. Fitters were great. On time. Clean and efficient. Helped me with extra furniture items.

We had used Rogers some years ago for a bathroom floor and were extremely pleased. We recently had some building work completed on our kitchen and, against our better judgement, ordered flooring through a supplier recommended by our builder. We were badly let down with false promises and no shows. We then went to Rogers and immediately questioned why we would think about going anywhere else. The service from the staff in the shop, the estimator, arranging the installation right through to the actual installation was friendly, helpful and very professional. The communication was excellent throughout. We are delighted with our flooring. Rogers will always be our first choice for flooring going forward.

We are repeat clients for AJ Rogers and Sons , first using them some 30 years ago in previous homes. Last year they laid Amtico flooring to our hall and kitchen, and this year carpeted our stairs, landings and bedrooms. The floor and carpet fitters were very professional, punctual and tidy throughout the job. I was anxious about having such a large area being carpeted and the disruption it would cause but it was seamless and easy all my worries disappeared on day one. Gemma in the showroom was so helpful and patient with us as we were so indecisive and kept changing colour and type, she deserves a medal! I would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future.

This family carpet firm were recommended to me by friends who had used them before. We needed to replace a damaged dining room carpet following a water leak. They were extremely helpful during what was a stressful time dealing with insurance claims, builders etc. All their staff were polite, punctual and responded promptly to all my queries. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I will use them again if I require further carpets.

Super friendly and efficient family company to deal with. Have used them for a number of years and they never fail to disappoint. I absolutely recommend A.J.Rogers. They fitted beautiful wood floors and carpet for us in November 2025. A friendly, reliable, expert organisation who went the ‘extra mile ‘ to deliver on time for us. Brilliant choice of flooring to choose from, expert individual fitting and follow up. A truly personal service.

We have used Rogers several times now - at our last house they did some great work, and in our new house they have supplied carpets everywhere. The whole transaction was excellent, from the initial quotation to the final fitting. As we were refurbishing three bathrooms and the kitchen, the fitting was, of necessity, somewhat piecemeal and AJ Rogers could not have been more accommodating. The fitters were courteous, efficient and could not have more hard working. There was a genuine pride in getting the carpets right, including one or two tricky areas. This is a lovely family firm, who take pride in what they do and deliver a superb service.

We have used Roger's and Sons before but, mistakenly, thought that they wouldn't want to bother with the work we needed this time: two small rooms to be fitted with vinyl flooring. We were delighted with the response when we asked for a quotation. A home visit was arranged and completed within a few days. We were told there could be a delay as there was a pre-Christmas rush but once we confirmed the order the fitting was arranged for 10 days later. The fitter arrived promptly and worked efficiently and tidily to fit both floors. He kept us informed of his progress and the next steps to make sure the floors were smooth and well-fitted. We are very pleased with the results: both the kitchen and the bathroom now not only look better but feel better underfoot. All of the staff we met or had telephone conversations with were unfailingly polite and helpful. We will be going back soon for new carpets in larger spaces.

I have used AJ Rogers in the past and they were my first port of call for a new living room carpet and a replacement section for one of the upper landings. I knew what I wanted but I had a very tight schedule to turn it around. The sales team made no empty promises but promised to do their very best. They managed to source, supply and fit very quickly. The difference between AJ Rogers and other flooring shops is that they really know their products. Always so helpful and if you’re not sure exactly what you want, they always have great ideas. The quality is excellent. The fitters were just fantastic. They took such good care of the furniture I was unable to remove from the room and were kind enough to give me advice on the new carpets. In particular the replacement piece upstairs has been scratched constantly by one of the cats. As the cats will undoubtedly scratch the replacement, the fitter told me how I can look after that area and prolong the life and look of the carpet. AJ Rogers is the only flooring shop I would recommend.
