Founded in 1966, A J Rogers and Sons is the leading carpet and flooring company, based in South London. We are a family run business celebrating over 50 years with a reputation built on personal service, professionalism and most importantly, quality.
Peter and Trevor Rogers, sons of founder Anthony, take a hands-on approach to running the business, and share an in-depth knowledge of flooring, materials and installation techniques.
These skills remain core to the operating values of the company, and we are fairly unique in that we employ our own in-house teams of highly trained fitters to ensure a perfect installation for you every time.

We had carpets fitted in four rooms of our house including the lounge and dining room. Our initial visit to the shop, measuring/quotation and actual fitting were all positive experiences and we're really pleased with the result. We opted for a higher-cost carpet and it does look/feel good quality. We would certainly use AJ Rogers again.

Visits to A. J. Rogers shop were, for someone who generally doesn’t enjoy the retail experience, a pleasure; the staff were friendly, helpful and informative which was essential with such a wide range of products available to chose from. We chose Amtico for the lounge, hallway and downstairs toilet, and carpet for the stairs and landing. The chosen floorings were laid on the agreed dates by staff who were clearly highly experienced professionals, who worked hard and took pride in providing an excellent service and end result. Overall, excellent customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending A.J. Rogers & Sons.

Rogers & Sons have installed the flooring in pretty much the whole of our house over the past 20 years or so. Thy have just installed a new bedroom carpet fitting around new fitted bedroom furniture. Their customer service is outstanding. In the showroom everyone is very knowledgeable , great at help chose possible flooring, and als overy friendly and efficient The invoicing, and arranging fitting were very easy. The fitting was done to a really high standard, very efficiently and with a cheery demeanour. This has always been our experience with them . I cant recommend them enough

This family carpet firm were recommended to me by friends who had used them before. We needed to replace a damaged dining room carpet following a water leak. They were extremely helpful during what was a stressful time dealing with insurance claims, builders etc. All their staff were polite, punctual and responded promptly to all my queries. We are repeat clients for AJ Rogers and Sons , first using them some 30 years ago in previous homes. Last year they laid Amtico flooring to our hall and kitchen, and this year carpeted our stairs, landings and bedrooms. The floor and carpet fitters were very professional, punctual and tidy throughout the job. I was anxious about having such a large area being carpeted and the disruption it would cause but it was seamless and easy all my worries disappeared on day one. Gemma in the showroom was so helpful and patient with us as we were so indecisive and kept changing colour and type, she deserves a medal! I would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future.

We had used Rogers some years ago for a bathroom floor and were extremely pleased. We recently had some building work completed on our kitchen and, against our better judgement, ordered flooring through a supplier recommended by our builder. We were badly let down with false promises and no shows. We then went to Rogers and immediately questioned why we would think about going anywhere else. The service from the staff in the shop, the estimator, arranging the installation right through to the actual installation was friendly, helpful and very professional. The communication was excellent throughout. We are delighted with our flooring. Rogers will always be our first choice for flooring going forward.

So pleased with the new kitchen floor. Amtico in a basket weave pattern - fitted expertly. Fitter worked hard and did a great job. Customer service before and after the work was spot on. No hard sell, just good advice and help when it was needed. My family have used Rogers before and we will certainly use them again, and recommend them.

We have used Rogers several times now - at our last house they did some great work, and in our new house they have supplied carpets everywhere. The whole transaction was excellent, from the initial quotation to the final fitting. As we were refurbishing three bathrooms and the kitchen, the fitting was, of necessity, somewhat piecemeal and AJ Rogers could not have been more accommodating. The fitters were courteous, efficient and could not have more hard working. There was a genuine pride in getting the carpets right, including one or two tricky areas. This is a lovely family firm, who take pride in what they do and deliver a superb service.

When you enter any carpet shop you are confronted with thousands of carpet samples and the choice is immense, it is the service and advice you get in making that decision on what carpet/floor covering to chose that is paramount; that is where Rogers were head and shoulders above the rest. The site visit and the subsequent fitting (by their own staff) was five star, and to time with no mess! You may get a cheaper carpet elsewhere but not the service. Highly recommended

The company did some insurance related work for us two years ago so we had no hesitation in using them again to put down a wood floor in our lounge. They moved heavy items of furniture and lifted the old carpet for us. The new floor was put down very quickly and expertly. We had two different teams doing the work and they even remembered the previous job. They were very friendly and efficient throughout and we would certainly use them again.

Very helpful staff in store and I was given a whole book of samples to take home with me (is that usual? It was so useful to have). A home visit one week later to measure and provide the quote which I decided to go with and am really pleased I did. The existing concrete floor was in poor condition so a screed was recommended, so glad I went with that, it's made a huge difference. Next day the Sisal carpet was fitted in the bedroom and the guys did a very good job, there was no mess and they were very friendly. Only slight downside for me was having to wait 7 weeks from quote to fitting but that was made clear from the start and given the events of 2020, I was happy to wait - especially as the end result was so good. I'd happily recommend this company to anyone.

We were very pleased with the service provided by A J Rogers from the time we walked into the showroom until the final piece of carpet was laid. The team took our concerns seriously. The fitters were happy to postpone fitting until we felt safe. One very small point to raise. They were late on their first day. They made up for it by being early on the second.
