From the time I went into the shop to discuss options until today when the carpet was treated with stain protection, it has been an extremely positive experience. Everyone has been helpful, efficient and pleasant to deal with. They met my deadline for when I wanted the carpets fitted, the fitters left the house neat and tidy, the mats were delivered the day after the carpet was fitted - which was an unexpected bonus (I thought this would take several days). I am delighted with the service I have received and how my carpets look.

A.J.Rogers have been a pleasure to deal with. It started with great unhurried help from Gemma and others to choose the appropriate design. Then there was support provided by Trevor and his team and finally to laying the product. We are very pleased with the end result.

A J Rogers removed the old carpet and underlay and provided new underlay and carpet. The work was brought forward from the original date by mutual agreement. We have been using AJ Rogers since the shop opened in 1966, their service has always been of the highest standard and their after sales service is also excellent. We have always found contact with all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The fitters did an excellent job fitting the carpet and cleaning up after them. We would always recommend AJ Rogers and have used them on many occasions since the shop opened, we have not considered going to another shop.

I contacted AJ Rogers to provide an estimate for a new marmoleum floor as part of a large kitchen/dining room extension. Their whole team were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the finished product and their service throughout. Our builder was also impressed with their installation team and remarked on how good they were.

We used AJ Rogers to lay Amtico in our kitchen dinner, we found them very friendly, helpful and the result we are delighted with.

AJ Rogers & Sons provided a professional service in all respects. The estimate was detailed and their communication was excellent. Their workmanship is of a very high standard. When unexpected snagging issues arose during the installation, it was very well communicated and dealt with. The floor installation in our living room, dining room and entrance hall was completed in March 2020 just as the country was going into lockdown. We are very happy with our decision to give our custom to this local company in Kent that is committed to maintain its good reputation.

I am really delighted to have found AJ Rogers. From the initial phone call my dealings with them have been friendly, efficient and clear. I went in with loads of questions and after an hour with Kevin, who talked me through the pros and cons of all my options, I came away confident of what I wanted. Kevin didn't try to upsell, and ensured I considered cheaper (and more practical!) alternatives. He gave really helpful advice about the differences between the basics and the higher spec options: where I could save money and where it was not worth cutting corners. Despite the fact that they are incredibly busy, they bent over backwards to accommodate me needing to be away for a period, including coming out same day to provide an estimate so that we could get moving as quickly as possible. The estimate itself was fully itemised with all options and potential extras spelled out in advance. Michael and the Ops team worked wonders to fit my job in at short notice. On the day, the guys were courteous, efficient and left everything spotless. The carpets look and feel great. The biggest thing for me though was the way they handled some minor questions and concerns I had at the end. A perfect fit wasn't possible on one part of the staircase as my stairs/walls are not straight. The team talked me through the trade-offs between aesthetics and a secure fit and the fitter came back very promptly to make some adjustments. Very pleased - I will never use another firm again!

The men who came round were friendly, helpful and very professional and the end result was excellent. The pre-sales service was also very good. This was a small job for the business and we were on a limited budget but they treated it as they would a bigger job. Thank you.

We’ve just had our carpet replaced with a beautiful light oak, herringbone design wood floor. Our initial visit to the shop was great as all the staff there are very friendly, efficient and really know their stuff. Trevor then came to do the on site visit and he too was very helpful. Once we got our quote and decided to go ahead with the job, everything was booked in at times that suited us perfectly. The carpet was taken up and disposed of, the floor was screeded, then the wood was laid over a three day period. Zeph, the young man who laid the floor was probably the best trades person that we’ve ever dealt with. He was punctual, efficient, hard working, very neat and tidy. He was also so polite and trustworthy and he did a really good job. We have used A J Rogers in the past and we have always been happy with their work. Would definitely recommend them.

Another superb customer experience by AJ Rogers. They never fail to deliver. Stairs and landing carpet expertly fitted by top quality fitters. Polite, courteous, reliable. In addition we had a problem with our Karndean kitchen floor which had blown in a small area. We had 3 companies visit that didn't want to do the repair but AJ Rogers were so keen to help us out, they took on a tricky and time consuming job and carried it out perfectly. This has saved me a fortune on a whole new kitchen floor. Thank you AJR and in particular Trevor who was so pro active noticing the problem (I didn't bring it to his notice) and then fixing it.

A J Rogers were super helpful and flexible, particularly as we had difficulties with builders, meaning delays and rework. Quality of work - surveying, preparation and fitting - has been excellent.

Rogers has just fitted an oak floor in our hallway and we are thrilled with it. The whole programme of work ran smoothly from estimating to operations, fitting, sanding, lacquering and re-fitting the stair carpet, this included 7 members of the Rogers team, all dovetailing to make the project work well. Along the way, each member of the team is consistently punctual, reliable, ready to give advice, skilled, knowledgeable and pleasant to have in your home. We have used Rogers for over 30 years and highly recommend their personal service, really giving credit to a local, small/medium size business as opposed to giant organisations. We can see how they maintain the quality of their service with succession planning as they bring in new employees to train up, all with individual skills but the same high quality `Rogers' service. A real advert for a small, locally run successful business.

Recently had 2 bedrooms, landing and stairs carpeted and we were very happy with the service from our appointment at the shop selecting samples to try, to the measuring up and the fitting. Everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating and the end result is even better than we hoped. Will have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

High praise for the staff and fitters at AJ Rogers after we had laminate flooring fitted throughout the hallway & lounge. We've used the company for many years and the quality of the work is always of the highest standard. We had Moduleo LVT laid in 4 rooms Taking just 5 days from screed to complete installation. They arrived on the date as arranged (unusual in today’s climate) Stewart and Alex did a great job - it looks perfect ! We stayed in a hotel for a few days to keep out of the way (small house) . Was lovely coming aback each day to see the progression and transformation of our house which has gone from looking like a building site to a home very quickly. This flooring is so good, visitors have already commented that they thought it was real wood! It was so helpful to be able to keep samples for a while as it was a tough decision involving the entire ground floor of our ‘bungalow!’ Thanks so much we would definitely recommend AJ Rogers & Sons!

AJ Rogers & Sons installed a quality herringbone Amtico floor in our kitchen. Every step of the process was smooth and all staff were a pleasure to deal with, communicating politely and promptly throughout. Sales manager Gemma is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful; Kevin measured carefully and gave useful advice; the screed installer worked efficiently and neatly; and the floor installer was a delight, completing the job in just a couple of hours while whistling along to Classic FM. The team accommodated a delay to our installation date and called a few days after installation to check we were happy with the job. Every aspect of their service instilled us with confidence - will return for carpets!

Another fantastic experience at A J Rogers. Their showroom is packed full of samples which they are happy to lend. The staff are knowledgable and helpful, making choosing a pleasure, and the measuring and estimating service is quick and accurate. The fitters are friendly and take great care to provide the highest standard of workmanship. The also provide a thorough after care service. Their reputation is well deserved.

A J Rogers supplied and fitted carpets for our bedrooms. They confirmed the order in writing, setting out in clearly the options and related costs. They completed the job within the indicated time. The fitters were friendly, professional and efficient and left the rooms clean and tidy. All in all very happy with the job.
