Founded in 1966, A J Rogers and Sons is the leading carpet and flooring company, based in South London. We are a family run business celebrating over 50 years with a reputation built on personal service, professionalism and most importantly, quality.
Peter and Trevor Rogers, sons of founder Anthony, take a hands-on approach to running the business, and share an in-depth knowledge of flooring, materials and installation techniques.
These skills remain core to the operating values of the company, and we are fairly unique in that we employ our own in-house teams of highly trained fitters to ensure a perfect installation for you every time.

We are delighted with our contemporary stair and landing carpet fitted by this well established professional team. Good attention to detail, helpful advice in the showroom to find a contemporary carpet with a smart stripe pattern which could be shaped as a runner for the lower staircase. Stripe pattern thoughtfully calculated at the template stage and a fair amount of trouble taken to find the right threshold to work with the smoked wood flooring. We got estimates from 3 firms, and A J Rogers were competitive whilst providing a thoughtful cheerful service.

Work - took up old flooring, repaired/re-screeded and relaid new flooring. Work was completed to planned schedule and quoted price. Showroom staff pleasant and efficient, and those doing the work were smart, pleasant and very efficient. Trader - A J Rogers have carried out previous works for us (new landing and stair carpeting, new hall wooden flooring). Our experience with all jobs has been highly satisfactory. We would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I visited the showroom to choose a new bedroom carpet, the customer assistant was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, selecting a shortlist of carpet samples that met my budget and preferences and giving me as much time as I needed to discuss requirements. They arranged for samples to be sent to me and confirmed all the prices promptly in a follow-up email. They explained the order and fitting process clearly in advance. The price was very reasonable for a good quality carpet. The fitting date was scheduled 6 weeks in advance and the access requirements checked, and the fitters' arrival time was confirmed the day before. They arrived promptly, were professional and courteous and worked swiftly to complete the work, clearing up well afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

We had wood flooring installed throughout our property in Hither Green and extended (matching perfectly) the existing kitchen flooring. I shopped around a lot and it was Trevor's attention to detail and tangible expertise that persauded me to choose A J Rogers & Sons. The customer service throughout was excellent; the shop in Bromley is really nice - it's very helpful to be able to pop in and see "the product". The installers were really nice and concientious. Would gladly recommend; very happy with the results.

We had never used A J Rogers before but would certainly use them again. They were very helpful when we were trying to decide on our choice of carpet and lent us large sized samples to take home, even searching through their store room to find one we had seen on a manufacturer's website. The whole fitting process and door trimming was professionally done and we were very pleased with the result. We can certainly recommend this trader.

AJ Rogers fitted carpets in our entire upstairs. Prior to going with AJ Rogers, we received plenty of objective advice from them. They helped us to choose which particular carpet, underlay and door thresholds that we'd like within the budget we had set. They were evidently knowledgable and trustworthy. As for the fitting, the work was done to a very high standard, the work site was clear and tidy and they did it within the time they said they would. Excellent.

A.J. Rogers was recommended to me by my neighbours who had used them several times over the years. When visiting the shop Vanessa very quickly understood what I was looking for and although I took an array of samples with me, her first recommendation was exactly right. I opted for Amtico for the lounge, hall and bedrooms of my flat. The work was done in several phases this year, Rogers was very flexible to accommodate my wishes. The guys that executed were excellent. Polite, tidy and very skilled. The flooring was the easy part of my renovation project, it was a pleasure to work with them. I fully recommend Rogers and their fantastic team!

My wife and I have used A J Rogers over many years for carpets (5) and at the end of 2017 for an oak floor. The service and quality of the product has always been excellent. Only once have we had an issue, which was not their fault, and that was quickly resolved without any hassle. All the staff are a pleasure to deal with.

The service I received was exceptional from start to finish. They took the time to come out and measure the property so that they could accurately produce a quote. I was welcomed to the shop a number of times to help me choose my floor until I made a decision. During this time, email communication was both effective and responsive. Soon after a decision was made, the floors were installed by a very friendly and happy team. While they may not be the cheapest option, you really can't go wrong with this company.

From start to finish: Friendly reception in the showroom. Kevin's initial visit to view and assess the site. Laying the screed. Fitting the very fiddly Amtico tiles (flagstone design). Both service and workmanship were extremely professional. I am delighted with the end result. Not the cheapest but certainly the best. Highly recommend.

I had a moduleo floor installed by A.J Rogers and they were helpful and patient as it took me a long time to decide on the right colour. The installation was quick and efficient and very happy with the results. Can't really comment on value as it was the only company I had a quote from but they certainly went the extra mile with everything so all worth it for the personal service.
