Anthony has done two jobs for us over the past few days - replacing our kitchen tap and garden tap. Impressed with excellent business practice (eg returned calls in response to email contact, phoning back when he said he would, giving advice, quick service, taking careful steps under the current crisis - Covid 19). First-rate work. Friendly. Polite.

Worrying about a leak from our toilet system I searched Which? Trusted Traders and decided to approach Tony of A J Services. Despite the Covid-19 lockdown, he responded to my email enquiry quickly, arrived when he said that he would and wore a mask and gloves all the time he was in our flat. He resolved the cistern leak and carried out two other plumbing tasks in the bathroom involving installing new taps and a shower booster pump, which I had already purchased but held off having fitted due to the Covid virus. Tony finished all three jobs, cleaned up the bathroom so no evidence he had even been there, then sprayed a special cleaning fluid on the areas he had touched in the room to protect us. Very happy with his work and his charge. He will be our first port of call whenever we need a plumber from now on.

Our bath wouldn’t drain & we also had a leaking towel radiator. We rang Tony & he arrived within an hour, fully complying with the current restrictions of wearing a mask & gloves at all time’s & social distancing. Even though we had primarily called about the blocked bath, which Tony dealt with quickly, the leak was more time consuming but Tony did a thorough repair job & left everywhere clean & tidy. Given it was an emergency call-out his charges were reasonable & we would have no hesitation in using him again

This is my first ever review but needed to let everyone know how fantastic Tony from AJ Services is! There was no heating due to a boiler breakdown at a rental property. The boiler was old. We called 2 other plumbers before Tony and they said a new boiler was needed. We then found Tony in the Which Trusted Traders. He was quick to arrive, said what was wrong and repaired it without fuss. He also repaired a leaking radiator. He attended more than once due to needing parts and got the parts cheaper than we were able to. Each time he was prompt, punctual, efficient and tidied up after himself as well as being very approachable and easy to talk to. I agonised over who to call but I have done the agonising for you and suggest you look no further that Tony from AJ Services Plumbing and Heating! We will use him every time from now on and it is a relief to have found someone we can trust and have confidence in both with his work and prices.

Tony fitted a new boiler and did an excellent job. He thoroughly checked the whole central heating system and made sure everything was working perfectly. He was friendly, punctual, tidy and very knowledgeable. I would use again and highly recommend!

This is the second time Tony has done work in my hose. Genuine recommendations , solves problems well and suggests where to buy things at a good price. Came in , assessed within a day and did the work within 5 days. Last year sorted my electric shower, yesterday my normal shower and installed two pipe-works. Genuine plumber, highly recommended.

Tony paid us a visit following a phone call. He was very thorough and spent an hour looking at the existing system and checking the size of the existing boiler cupboard. We went through the work that needed doing and he provided a quotation for the work in a timely manner. This was very reasonable and we decided to go ahead with Tony. The work included a power flush of the system, new boiler, new radiator valves, 3 port motorised valve and heating circulating pump. The work was completed within the time frame that Tony gave us and to an exceptional standard. He was also very clean and tidy and left the place as he found it...you wouldn’t know he’d been here! We would have no hesitation in recommending A.J. Services. Absolutely first class.

Tony was fast to respond to my email, was very helpful and completed the work efficiently and carefully. The work carried out shows good value for money. He is also investigating a further job, trying to find the best replacement for the shower.

I asked Tony to investigate a leak from our boiler. He was able to visit us within the hour and had identified the issue in due course. Very prompt and professional response. He duly replaced the faulty part and everything has been perfect since. Very happy with the service Tony provided and wouldn't hesitate to reccomend his services.

We contacted Tony with a list of repairs we required including problems with 2 toilet cisterns, some replacement taps and waste and a leaking shower cubicle. Tony quickly arranged to come round to quote. He was prompt with his quote and we agreed a date to carry out the work. Tony arrived on time on the allotted day and completed all the tasks quickly, efficiently and without mess. All work was carried out satisfactorily and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending his services.

Tony was prompt on arrival and immediately explained he would have to disconnect the toilet and pull it out to see where the leak was then quoted a fair price to fix it. He is a friendly person and kept us informed of his progress whilst carrying out the work. He was very tidy and stuck to the agreed price. His details are in our address book should we need a plumber in the future.

Very happy with Tony. Needed a variety of tasks completing; replacing tap, replacing ballcocks and servicing gas boiler. Called him and he arrived next day! Completed all the work very quickly, so very reasonable cost. Will definitely use him again for any plumbing or boiler work.

Couldn't have asked for better service. Extremely prompt, fit my new boiler in 1.5 days, left tidy and did a fab job. I've had really bad experiences before with plumbing/gas call outs, so was really relieved to find someone decent who I could trust. Service was offered at a great price, without skimping on quality of care. Would definitely recommend to a friend and use again.

Really happy with Tony who just finished fitting my new radiator. From the outset his communication was great. He turned up promptly and completed the work efficiently with no fuss and left everything really clean and tidy. Gave me a quote for the work and the final charge didn't change from that. AJ Services changed a faulty thermostatic shower cartridge in my concealed shower. It was a small job that it is often difficult to get people out for. Tony arrived at the time that he said that he was going to arrive. He worked to fit the part overcoming some problems on the way. He was polite and diligent, and the price was very reasonable. I was extremely pleased with Tony and have engaged him already, to do other work for me. He offered me some good advice on the other work to be done. One of the things that I was most impressed with, was the fact that I actually mucked him about with times to do the job, and he still came and did the work at a convenient time. So the important bit; would I recommend him? In a heartbeat. As I mentioned, I have already engaged him for other work. I am very happy. And I can celebrate by having a hot shower.

Removal of old radiator pipes & new gas pipes & connections for gas hob & oven. Tony arrived at the time agreed. He was really friendly & Informed me of what needed to be done & the parts he had to purchase. Tony has done a great job with no mess. Tony also bled my radiators & my home has never felt warmer. Would call on Tony again & recommend to family & friends.

I used AJ Services last week as I had a multitude of problems at my flat which included several leaking hidden pipes and a faulty electric boiler. Tony contacted me back straight away and we arranged for him to look at problems the next day. The next day Tony arrived promptly and quickly got to work finding and fixing the leaking pipes. He also got my electric boiler going again which several other tradesman had failed to do. Tony was open and up front about costs which were very competitive. The work was done to an excellent standard and he did a good job of clearing up when the work was completed. I highly recommend AJ services, the quality of work is excellent the price very reasonable and if I or my family ever need a plumber again we will without doubt be using AJ services.

Tony fixed an urgent water leak which required a long investigation. He took a scientific and rigorous approach when looking for the source of the leak. He avoided making assumptions and unnecessary repairs. The repair required to solder copper pipes which were difficult to access. He has done an excellent job. The quality of the work is outstanding and I highly recommend him. We can turn-on the hot water again. It is a relief! After this job he also fixed a blocked drain pipe in the kitchen.

I can't recommend Tony enough. Tony is professional and a very experienced engineer he attended twice without charging me until he completely fixed my boiler. Sought advice about a tricky problem. Which he solved very pleased with his work.
