Mark and Josh replaced all of our soffits facias and guttering. It was a pleasure having them both. All the work was done to a high standard and in good time. Site was left clear every evening and both were polite and friendly to us and our neighbours. Very happy and would highly recommend

Mark & Josh arrived on Thursday 11th, January to undertake the installation of a a fairly large shallow pitched flat roof of some 30 square metres. Their work entailed the removal of existing plastic covering and sheets of Sterling board that had been damaged through rain water penetration. They both worked like Trojans in laying a new roofing membrane together with new UPVC scribed in side panels and with main fascia and guttering. The quality of the workmanship can only be described as Exhibition Standard. Hence my attribute of ROLLS-ROYCE.

Mark & Josh replaced all the fascias, soffits and guttering on our house with UPVC and deep flow guttering. Whilst the work was initially delayed (thanks to the multiple storms) we were kept informed and the work was carried out well. All old materials were cleared from around the house, and the result looks really professional (we had black soffits and fascias fitted which look much better than the white ones. All in all a great job and both of them managed to stay in good humour despite the weather……

The ridge tiles on our extension were coming loose and in danger of falling off. Mark identified that ‘bonnet’ tiles should have been used and that the wrong mix of sand/cement had been used. He removed the ridge tiles and old cement from sloping corners and cut and fitted the new bonnet tiles. The result was a much better looking extension roof than before, with the new tiles fitting perfectly. Everything was cleaned and tidied up, and the job was completed in a day. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Aabsolute Roofing without hesitation.

I had been looking for a trusted roofer who I could be confident would do a good job, luckily a customer of mine recommended Mark. So after contacting him he promptly came round to check what needed to be done after agreeing. Marks quote which was reasonable, for reseating all ridge tiles on my two storey extension along with cementing both gulleys cleaning all gutters and re-bedding the front porch verge and ridge tiles with red dye frost proofing etc. An immaculate job was carried out, when Mark and Josh left I was hard pressed to tell they had even been there, No mess at all. Would not hesitate to use again and would highly recommend.

Very impressed with the whole process from initial contact, visit and quote through to completion of the works. Mark and Josh were extremely professional, hardworking, courteous and personable and did a first rate job. They took away all the rubbish and left everything neat and clean. Mark replaced the guttering at the rear of our property, and repaired a section of the valley on our roof immediately above the gutter. Following an extension to our property, the previous guttering had not been installed correctly. Every time it rained, water fell between the gutter and the wall below the valley, overshot some the guttering, and leaked at a gutter union. Mark visited the property and quickly identified the issues with the guttering and the valley, explaining and showing me in detail what the issues were, and how they could be fixed. I did chase him for the quote after a week, but it was then sent quickly, was reasonable and detailed. The work was carried out a couple of days after the initial agreed date as the guttering hadn't arrived (he came in person to explain which I thought was very courteous), but the works were carried out with minimal fuss, and to budget. They worked hard, cleared up and swept the patio afterwards, and Mark talked me through/showed what they’d done – including a test bucket of water thrown on the roof to ensure no more leaks, and that the water was flowing the correct way! They carried out all works that had been agreed, and also kindly cut, cleared out, and added a round pipe shoe to another down pipe which was blocked for free. I found Mark and Josh to be easy to talk to, friendly, polite, knowledgable and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would recommend them.

Used Mark before and won't hesitate to again. Came out today to fix a bit of storm damage and did so quickly efficiently and without hassle and complication. Great job, no fuss, just honest and reliable.

Leaking roof work undertaken within a week of accepting the quotation. Quotation was clear and precise. Invoice was as agreed. My neighbour used Aabsolute Roofing and I could see how well they were doing the work from my upstairs window. Recently, after a storm, a few drops of rain came through into my bedroom and I had no hesitation in contacting them. Very happy with their professionalism before and after undertaking the work to my complete satisfaction.

Mark and I had agreed that as our job was quite small, he would fit the job in around some of his larger jobs. By chance he rang this morning to say that there was a delay on one of his jobs so could be come round today. Ten minutes later Mark and his colleague Josh were round and starting the work. Mark and Josh are both very friendly and polite. They cracked on with the job and asked for my input when a decision was required. Mark was replacing a missing tile from the roof above the front bay window and the new tile they brought with them wouldn't have blended in. Mark offered to take a tile from the side of the house that's not visible and move it to the front, and put the new tile on the side. This has worked well and you cannot spot any colour change on the front. Mark also replaced some cracked tiles on other parts of the rear roof. Mark and Josh also re-aligned the guttering on the rear of the house to make the water flow better and installed a new downpipe. Mark kept me informed of their progress and we reviewed the work at the end of the job. Mark and Josh tidied up and took all of the waste with them. I'm very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them. I will also be using Mark again.

Mark provided a quotation to de-moss and repair the roof. The work was carried out efficiently and he and Josh worked hard to complete before threatened rain arrived. He kept to the quotation but discovered serious damage when tiles had been removed which he fixed quickly and at a very reasonable price. I recommend his services.

Mark is very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job despite the variable weather. Replaced some roof slates free of charge and took down an old satellite dish that we have never used. Took pride in the work and ensured all the waste was removed. Mark stuck to the quote with no ‘additional’ charges.

Mark is very knowledgeable. He and his team did a great job replacing soffits, fascias and repointing ridge cement. They helped with other bits of general maintenance to the property at the same time. A pleasure to have around.

Mark was recommended by a fellow tradesman. He did a full analysis of my roof - which took over 45 minutes. He went into loft space to check the source of the leak. He correctly pointed to other rooms which were affected by the leak. He replaced defective gulley tiles; flashing and broken / missing tiles. He scrapped out old concrete and worn cement and replaced. He and his team worked efficiently and completed the work within the agreed timescale He quoted a fair price and kept to quote. I am very impressed and feel very able to recommend to others.

I had a roof leak that let a small amount of water through the front bedroom ceiling during heavy rain. Several previous tradesmen had attempted repairs, which proved temporary. Mark immediately identified the cause, which was that my roof (and that of my semi-detached neighbour) had been built using incorrect tiles in the valleys... in 1930! The original roof had been botched using lead flashing to seal the gaps between the tiles, but this had moved over the years. Mark removed the defective tiles and flashing, installed the correct valley trays and re-tiled / made good the surrounding area. I went up the scaffolding for a closer look, and the work was of the highest quality. I would recommend Mark without hesitation, and I would certainly use his services again (although now that my roof is professionally repaired I probably won't need to). All work was on schedule and to the agreed quotation, and Mark was very pleasant and professional to deal with. Thankyou, Mark!

We had a leaking flat roof caused by the excessive weather and some cracked tiles. Our window cleaner insisted it was a simple quick fix! A very costly botched job resulted which had to be "undone". Mark provided a temporary solution covering with tarpaulin before he came back to fix permanently a few days later. Whilst here to assess the work we noticed a "collapsed" gutter above the garage which Mark fixed immediately. Cannot rate him too highly.

The project largely involved new guttering and replacing with PVC all the rotting plywood panels (soffits etc) between the gutter and roof tiles, on a bungalow built in 1978. At the survey visit, Mark stood out for his personable manner, practical ideas and insightful solutions borne of experience, to six problems and concerns that I had, There didn’t seem to be anything Mark had not already encountered. The job went as planned in direct sun, reaching a humid 30° in the shade. Being an older property, there was the unexpected, which Mark took in his stride. I had occasional queries along the way, which Mark handled with patience and goodwill. The result was a professional job completed within the time quoted. The invoice amount matched the quote, which fell between higher and lower competitive quotes.

Mark installed a new flat roof - the old one being nearly 30 years old, and very tatty. I was pleased that he has used roofing material that does not need gravel (as in the past) which never stayed in place for long, and used to collect in the gutters. The job has been carried out very well, and to the standard of a professional craftsman, who has probably done such jobs hundreds of times in the past. I would certainly recommend to anyone.

Our old guttering was replaced by Mark and his colleague during a particularly heavy downpour when most outside workers would have given up the ghost. There was a slight hiccup because the supplier had failed to include some of the required parts but this was quickly sorted out and Mark returned the next morning to finish an excellent job. We would definitely use this company again.

The existing guttering to the (double-length) garage had become broken and useless over the years. This was the first time I have used this company for any work, but I wanted to choose someone registered with "Which?" as being the best possible assurance of a good outcome. Mark was very friendly and professional, and carried out a first rate job. It was clear that he has a lot of past experience in this type of work. As it happened, there was fairly heavy rain a couple of days after completion, and I was pleased to check and confirm that the "rainwater drainage system" is working exactly as it should.

Mark and Jules of Aabsolute Roofing quoted for re-pointing works to our Victorian House, which now looks like a new-build!! The quote was extremely reasonable and we accepted straight away. One huge plus point was that we did not need cumbersome scaffold around the house. They have their own scaffold tower that is assembled with various boards to enable them to carry out all works without the additional expense and inconvenience of scaffolding. They began work exactly when stated and were extremely knowledgeable, professional and hard-working as well as being friendly and reliable. We asked for additional work to be carried out as time went on to include work we had not originally thought of, but which made the house look so much better. Nothing was too much trouble and all works were carried out to an extremely high standard with good quality materials. Not only that they cleared all rubbish on a daily basis and gave a thorough clean to both my property and my neighbours' properties before leaving. I would not hesitate to recommend Aabsolute Roofing for much more than roof works. I have asked them to come and do some more work to my house and already recommended them to friends. Not only did they do the re-pointing (lots of it!), the gutters, sofits, fascias, all wooden frames and wooden doors were painted, the window sills were painted and the house looks absolutely amazing. Hopefully they will be back to do some more work for us soon.

Having used Aabsolute Roofing three years before, I had no hesitation when choosing a roofer. Mark and helper Julian worked very hard on a large project which involved lifting and cleaning all the roof tiles, replacing the failed liner and relaying the tiles.
