Leaving this review on behalf of my aged parents. Steve Underwood was knowledgeable and extremely helpful when I was supporting my parents in deciding on an appropriate replacement safe. Their costs were very reasonable and my parents described the service they received as ‘delightful’, despite the removal of the old safe being a bit tricky and the house being awkward. My mother asked me to give the company ‘top score for every aspect of the installation’. I can’t thank you enough for your expertise and professionalism.

Contacted Abbey Gate after my father-in-law was charged £720 to access his premises leaving the key in the lock. Abbey Gate were extremely professional providing advice about the invoice we had received and the genuine costs to carry out such work. The company received no direct business from us, but this demonstrates the high customer service and care they offer to customers. Will certainly be using if we need a genuine locksmith again. Thank you Abbey Gate - just wish contact was made before the 'rogue locksmith' was contacted.

Lifesavers! Who puts their key in the postbox with the post box key in it- me. I was so lost and didn't know what to do. I spoke to Perry who came out very quickly, with another lovely gentleman ,and got the keys out quickly. I did not feel judged and the guys were lovely. Would Highly recommend Abbey Gate locksmiths- they will certainly be my choice going forward.

I accidentally locked myself on a Sunday morning and my door key was left inside the front door. Steve Underwood arrived within 20 minutes of my call, he was able to rescue me very quickly by opening my front door. Overall the job was done efficiently with no damage, reasonably priced and with excellent customer service, I would certainly recommend Abbey Gate Locksmiths Ltd and would happily use them again.

I needed replacement keys for my security locks. I phoned Steve at Abbey Gate Locksmiths and gave him my details. Steve called me back within 10 mins advising new keys were ready. As I did not have my car that day Steve arranged for delivery of the keys to my location as one of his staff would be near me. From my 1st phone call to problem resolved all under 30 minutes.

The lock on my sliding conservatory door fractured. Abbey Gate came promptly as agreed, were extremely helpful and diagnosed the fault swiftly. I was relieved that a new stronger lock was fitted at the same visit and at a very reasonable charge. The whole process was extremely smooth and I remain very impressed with the whole experience. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Abbey Gate Ltd.

I had accidentally engaged the deadbolt on my front door and had also left the key in the back door lock, so I couldn't get in either way. It was early evening and getting cold. I was stranded outside in my car with no internet access and getting quite desperate. I thought that even if I could get an emergency locksmith number I would have to wait hours for them to come. Then I remembered that a friend had used Abbey Gate last summer and had said good things about the service she received. I got Steve's number and he said he would come out within half an hour (it helped that I don't live far from him, but I probably interrupted his dinner time!). He was on time and quickly gained access by the back door. His callout charge was fair. The relief was immense!

Charlie, introduced himself on arrival, very friendly and talked through what he was doing. After he left having cut keys for me, when I went back to the property he was working on I could not get in, completely my fault. I rang the number on invoice and Charlie was on his way to his next job so the director came out to help me get in. I was extremely impressed and very grateful.

Through my own carelessness, I found myself one side of the door, with food, water, medication and clothes, between us stood a hefty solid door with a high security lock, which made me feel very vulnerable. Today my neighbour is having a party. Steve arrived very promptly and weaved/wove his mark and in a remarkably short time, I was on the right side of the door. No damage & low cost.

Sorry to you and trader that forgot exact week now but it was around 9 and part of our praise is that he came straight out.
