Abbeywood Removals

We have just used Abbeywood for the third time. As always the staff were courteous, helpful and efficient. The move went very smoothly and in very good time. Would always recommend Abbeywood as a first class removal company.

This is the second time that we've used Abbeywood, and yet again they did an amazing job for us - from start to finish. Adrian and Paula were a pleasure to deal with in the run-up to move day, and on this move, they were incredibly patient as exchange and completion dates took longer than anticipated to confirm - they were life savers! When the team arrived to pack and move us, they were all nothing short of brilliant. Professional, friendly and above all, totally obliging - nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Even when completion was massively delayed on move day, the team did not show any sign of frustration, and when we eventually received the keys, the team just cracked on with the same great humour we had seen all day. For us, there is only one company we would ever use to move - Abbeywood. Just a big thank you to everyone at Abbeywood.

Abbeywood moved us over two days. Nothing was too much trouble. The packing was really efficient and nothing was lost or damaged in transit. The service up to the move was excellent but over the two days of moving in the guys were amazing. Very friendly but courteous and respectful too. They went above and beyond to help.

We shopped around for 3 removal companies and out of all of them, Abbeywood Removals were by far the best on all counts. Initial contact was easy and the sales guy was very efficient and good to deal with. The quote was clear and there were no hidden costs which was important as we had enough outgoings as it was with the move. All paperwork was done electronically for quotes and invoices and all very clear from start to finish. The 2 removal men who came on the day made the whole process look very easy and nothing was too much trouble for them, which certainly helped make the whole move far less stressful for us and our 2 cats. Not planning to move again, but if we did would have no hesitation in recommending Abbeywood Removals.

We used Abbeywood Removals on three separate occasions: first, a major move of most of our furniture and possessions into storage; second, moving from a temporary residence in north Oxfordshire into our new home in Hampshire; and third, the delivery of our possessions in storage to our new residence a week after we moved. I can only report that on each occasion, the different teams of packers (we had the full packing service) were brilliant: super efficient, hardworking , helpful and courteous, my wife and I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the manner in which they eased the burden and stress of moving house. Moreover, they did all this at a very competitive price. Overall, Abbeywood provided a 5-star service. Indeed, I cannot praise them highly enough.

Adrian quoted for a move out of our home into storage for 2 months then out to the new house. He was very professional, knowledgeable and told me all I needed to make the move into storage work . Boxes were delivered within the price and taken away once empty too. Paula and all in the office were equally as professional and friendly. On both move days in and out of storage the removal team were just amazing, fast, careful and reliable, very professional. I received excellent service and would have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a company to help take the worry out of move day.

This is the first time we used a removal company, to move our three bed house. The quote we got was very competitive so we chose Abbeywood and it was a great choice! We had boxes delivered earlier (included in the price) and two men arrived on the day. They were very polite and efficient. We were unpacked in our new house by 4 pm. I would happily recommend Abbeywood Removals to anyone who needs a removal service.

Moving house is never easy, particularly after 33 years and the contingent collection of "stuff". Abbeywood made it considerably easier than it might have been and kept us advised and informed prior to the actual moving day. Their quote was very competitive and considerably less than many of the prices we received. When the final day arrived, it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year but the three young men who turned up (on time), carried on regardless. They were friendly and easy company and worked efficiently and helpfully with a minimum of fuss. We were amazed how quickly they packed our whole house and very pleased how efficient and helpful they were once we received the key release on our new property. A potentially stressful day was made a lot easier and we enjoyed their company. Incidentally, there were no breakages at all.
