Abbeywood Removals

This is the first time we used a removal company, to move our three bed house. The quote we got was very competitive so we chose Abbeywood and it was a great choice! We had boxes delivered earlier (included in the price) and two men arrived on the day. They were very polite and efficient. We were unpacked in our new house by 4 pm. I would happily recommend Abbeywood Removals to anyone who needs a removal service.

Abbeywood have been fantastic for our move: professional, reliable, helpful I cannot compliment them enough! The packing was fast and well organised so we were able to unpack very easily. We moved with Abbeywood Removals at the end of January. We cannot praise this company enough from the initial quote, which was dealt with very quickly, right through to the actual moving day. The communication between ourselves and Abbeywood was excellent at all times as was the actual move. The removal men were not only extremely polite, professional but also the speed and efficiency in which they cleared our old house and moved furniture etc into our new home was incredible. We received all the packing boxes, wrapping paper and tape in plenty of time for us to pack our own items at our leisure. The packing materials were all free of charge, which was appreciated as moving is so costly and if you can make savings it all helps. The overall cost of the move was reasonably priced. We would highly recommend this company as we have nothing negative to say about them, only praise.

We used Abbeywood to move us from Oxfordshire to North Wales. The estimate was competitive. We used the packing service and everything was packed carefully and efficiently; they are experienced so they know what to leave until last and take great care over precious or delicate items. They arrived on time at collection and destination and unloaded the vans with equal care, checking where each box or item was to go (and they label all the boxes). Their use of small vans makes things much easier too and means they can get onto normal driveways etc. The staff are very friendly, helpful and experienced. They really care about the level of service they provide, which is excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them without reservation.

Cannot fault the service from start to finish. Adrian was thorough and professional from the start, making us feel at ease and comfortable. He covered all points including some additional requests we had. Abbeywood helped me move out out one property, stored my belongings and then helped me move into my new one when ready. The teams doing the move out and in were brilliant and helped make an emotional time for me really simple. They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish, Paula, Adrian and all the wonderful lads who helped to move our belongings into storage and later into our new home, were amazing. Communication was very prompt and clear, everyone was friendly. To expedite our furniture arrival from storage, Paula swapped her cosy office and helped with the driving and unloading of the furniture into our new on a very cold and early November morning in Somerset. We couldn’t be happier and thank everyone at Abbeywood Removals for their careful help.

Hugh and Reece arrived brigh and early and amazingly cheerfull; then proceeded to load my whole world onto their vans in very good time, before driving nearly a hundred miles before unloading it all for me. Totally professional throughout, I just knew that my belongings would be totally safe with them; and they were. They were so very competent, happy and willing, and made my removal day an unexpected pleasure. I can't recomend Abbeywood highly enough.

Adrian came to visit to quote on all our belongings, the quote was really good, after three months we changed plans as the original house purchase fell through. A second quote was given within days. The guys who came to load and unload were amazing, they took all the stress out of the big day. They worded so hard and everything was put in it's place safely and efficiently. Just a quick note to say thank you to Legs and the team for moving us so efficiently down to Norfolk. As everyone knows, moving house is a stressful activity but we couldn't have found a more competent team to help us through the process. The three day operation went very much accordingly to plan with any specific challenges each day handled willingly and without fuss. The highlight was when the piano successfully made it up to the first floor living room - much to the relief of Legs! This was followed by tea and bacon rolls all round before the team unloaded the remaining items and wished us well in our new home. we would have no hesitation in recommending Abbeywood to prospective house movers and wish you every success in the future
