We moved from High Wycombe to Milton Keynes. Good professional advice on initial survey and extremely helpful attitude when hiccups in our sales process meant several changes to estimated moving dates. On the day the crews arrived early, which was probably just as well as we had underestimated the amount of 'stuff' accumulated over our 40-year-residency and were still packing! Our brilliant foreman assessed the situation, told me there was no need to panic and that he and his crew would deal with it. They finished the packing and loaded everything with such speed it felt like a whirlwind had hit but everything arrived at our destination and nothing was broken. They were friendly, obliging, even managing to crack the odd joke, and must have been exhausted when their long day finished. Thank you Abbeywood.

Abbeywood were great. They loaded most of our things on one day and returned the next to load the remainder and then drove to our new house. Completion was really delayed - they waited 3.5 hours to start unloading and were cheerful and positive through this period. When completion happened, they speedily and carefully unloaded over 3 hours including erecting beds. Then they had to drive 2.5 hours back to Buckingham. Their attitude was incomparable. They were friendly and pragmatic. A pleasure to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. The no 'late keys fee' was a bonus but we felt they cared about us and our move and almost that their role was to help us manage our stress. Great company to deal with.

Moving house is never easy, particularly after 33 years and the contingent collection of "stuff". Abbeywood made it considerably easier than it might have been and kept us advised and informed prior to the actual moving day. Their quote was very competitive and considerably less than many of the prices we received. When the final day arrived, it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year but the three young men who turned up (on time), carried on regardless. They were friendly and easy company and worked efficiently and helpfully with a minimum of fuss. We were amazed how quickly they packed our whole house and very pleased how efficient and helpful they were once we received the key release on our new property. A potentially stressful day was made a lot easier and we enjoyed their company. Incidentally, there were no breakages at all.

Adrian came to give me a quote. He was very professional, very smart and very COVID aware. He told me all I needed to know without any unnecessary waffle. Paula in the office was the same and helped me through to booking. On the day there were three guys. Again all very professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I received great service and would certainly recommend this company.

Abbeywood were friendly and professional from the start, they followed all current Covid rules and regulations when attending to provide the quote and sent it through really quickly. The boxes followed a couple of days after I accepted the quote and was pretty much spot on with the number provided. The lads that turned up to load were fabulous, they loaded over 2 days (one very hot the other heavy rain) and were really cheerful, friendly, professional and efficient. They loaded the van with a practiced eye and were done by lunch time on the first day. The following morning they loaded the few remaining bits and pieces and were on their way. The other end everything was unloaded and put in the correct rooms within 2 hours. Having now had the opportunity to unpack, everything moved arrived in the same condition it was handed over in. Really happy with the service provided by the lads at Abbeywood. Would definitely recommend them to others considering moving soon.

We shopped around for 3 removal companies and out of all of them, Abbeywood Removals were by far the best on all counts. Initial contact was easy and the sales guy was very efficient and good to deal with. The quote was clear and there were no hidden costs which was important as we had enough outgoings as it was with the move. All paperwork was done electronically for quotes and invoices and all very clear from start to finish. The 2 removal men who came on the day made the whole process look very easy and nothing was too much trouble for them, which certainly helped make the whole move far less stressful for us and our 2 cats. Not planning to move again, but if we did would have no hesitation in recommending Abbeywood Removals.

Abbeywood Removals arrived promptly at 8 am. Two men and two small trucks. I was nervous on the day as I was moving by myself. I had no other help apart from the two removal men. They started upstairs and I followed behind cleaning the rooms. I particularly liked the fact that we had agreed to take the ottoman beds down and put them back up in the new house. I was trying to keep up following behind and before I knew it they had completely taken everything out of the house. I was worried about the settees as they were large and heavy. They were taken away with ease. I also had a cycle, large freezers, and a trials motorcycle. All loaded on the truck with ease. By 11 am they had completely cleared out my house and then travelled up to the new house. At the other end just as efficient and by early afternoon I had completely moved into my new house. Hassle free, with no concerns. The removal men were polite and courteous at all times.

Abbeywood spent two days with us, the first day packing, prior to our move, and the second, finalising the packing, and moving us to our new home. We found them to be very professional, efficient and courteous throughout the whole process. They worked extremely well as a team.

I sold my house in Guildford October 2020 in the height of Covid epidemic . Abbeywood were wonderful in moving my belongings into their storage dropping off items in Buckingham where I am a full time carer. Last week almost 2 years 9 months later they moved my belongings out of their storage and Buckingham to Godalming. I couldn’t fault them. Everything looked as it did before. Incredible. Honestly, when it comes to moving house, dont skimp on the removal team. The Abbeywood Team turned up with boxes and packing paper a plenty, swept through the house packing and demounting furniture like a very polite swarm of removal locusts and before we say “fancy a coffee”, they were all packed on the lorries. They were professional, courteous and diligent, clearly labelling all the boxes, so that unpacking was super easy. More importantly, they have muscles in the right places and never appear to tire !! Not a single item broken; not a single item mislaid. Just brilliant service and worth every penny !! Well done Abbeywood.

We were really impressed with Abbeywood Removals. Our completion date continued to move, but Paula & Adrian were very supportive and Adrian put forward a solution so our preferred date could be achieved. Very professional and well organised company. Kyle and his team were excellent and a special mention for Tom who did a fantastic job packing our house contents. They arrived at the agreed times each day and worked efficiently, professionally and incredibly hard to get the job done. It was all coordinated well and when we arrived at our new home our possessions were safely put in their new home. Excellent service from Abbeywood Removals. From quotation, booking through to completing our house move of 82 Miles. We had a lot of possessions and needed six vans but that did not phase this Company. They swiftly and carefully loaded and unloaded to the rooms we had annotated. So very efficient, polite and respectful.
