We have a flat in London within a listed building. The design was 40 years old and needed updating particularly the shower in an old cast iron bath. I invited three firms and Abbott were impressive in terms of preparing the quotation and had the most attractive offer. The job started as promised on 4 February and finished as promised on 22 February. There were no problems, quality was as promised, there were no requests for increased cost, and the contracts manager was always contactable. It was just a very good job from start to finish. Liaison with neighbours was carried out by Abbott, all building and electrical certificates were obtained and sent to us by email. It was extremely well run and we are delighted with the finished job -excellent! Would recommend Abbott without hesitation.

I had to have an antiquated shower room completely replaced, in a listed building with all sorts of constraints, further complicated by the discovery of asbestos which had to be removed. The quality of the whole process was remarkably smooth and efficient, from help deciding which shower, cubicle, loo, bathroom cabinet, flooring, towel rail, tiling, etc I wanted to the quotation, gaining the permissions and through to the removal of old stuff and the asbestos and the installation of the new shower room. The plumber, tiler, electrician and painter were friendly and efficient and always turned up when expected. They covered everything with dust sheets and isolated part of the flat so I could still use it and left the place immaculate when they had finished. I am delighted with the result. I can’t recommend them more strongly.

We used this firm to replace the old bathroom in our flat. The project was quite a challenge because the flat is in a block that is Grade 2 listed and there are many rules and regulations that the landlords require to be adhered to. Abbots not only designed and planned the whole refurbishment, but they also managed the communications to the landlords and our neighbours. The design was fantastic and it has given the bathroom a modern look and feel. The work was completed while we were away from the property and everything was completed to a high standard, and the surroundings had been protected and cleaned during the work. Abbots appointed a single point of contact and are a pleasure to do business with.
