When I rung ABi for a price for replacing the wire cords on my garage door I was given a quote without anybody been to view the door which I thought was very professional.Craig the engineer arrived at the agreed time and done the job very well and also serviced the door when I asked him.A very well done job

I obtained 3 quotes from 3 separate companies when I decided to have a motorised garage door fitted in summer 2023. With all 3, I selected companies which had good reviews. While the other two companies were perfectly friendly and offered reasonable prices, ABI really felt like they were genuinely interested and wanted to offer the best solution for my circumstances. Chris offered some really good insight into the pros and cons of different motorised systems, explaining why a sectional door - which is what I ultimately chose - would be the best option. I didn't feel like I was on the receiving end of a hard sell, which was really important to me. But nor did I ever feel that Chris was anything other than engaged in what he was offering. So not only did I get the reassurance I needed, but I also ended up with the best price (those 2 things that don't always go hand-in-hand!). When I placed the order, ABI explained there would be a wait of approx 8x weeks, which was fine for me. In fact, it ended up being slightly less. The communication throughout was good and clear. On the day the door was fitted, the fitters arrived well within their predicted timeslot and cracked on with the work. They had a great attitude and did a really good job, both removing and disposing of the old door, fitting the new one and explaining how it all worked before they left. Based on my experience, I would rate ABI extremely highly and would have no hesitation recommending them. Excellent job!

The whole service from ABI Doors from initial survey to installation has been excellent. The engineer arrived on time and provided clear instructions on the operations and functions of the garage door. The area was cleaned and all left over materials were removed. I had done a great deal of research prior to choosing ABI and I decided on them based on their competitive price and the surveyors attention to detail on their initial consultation.

ABi supplied and fit an electrically operated, insulated, sectional Hörmann garage door for us. The customer service from ABi has been exceptional. It can't have been the easiest supply and fit for them due to us having to put the build on hold and replace the garage floor slab, which meant ABi needed to come out a second time to measure up and then there were multiple decision changes on door due to the opening being built at 7' instead of 8', but ABi worked with us to make sure we had the information we needed to make the correct decision. The Hörmann sectional door looks great and is of excellent quality. It has already made a difference in temperature, which bodes well for winter. We have seen a huge reduction in sound transfer too. ABi were able to colour match the diamond window surrounds to our house entrance door, with the garage door itself matching the house windows in both colour and texture. I highly recommend ABi

The door wouldn't open & service. Service and repair were quick. Service included much advice on what to watch and look out for. The fault was a broken cap on one of the wheels. The wheel and cap were replaced quickly and for £10. Everything was checked or altered ( spring tension ). All in all it was a friendly and excellent job. I would highly recommend.

Abi fitted my new garage door, all staff I dealt with were polite and well educated on the products, from the lady who showed us around the showroom to George the surveyor who explained the different products and listened to our needs and the fitters who turned up on time, worked quickly and did a great job, leaving the garage tidier than it was to start with. Would have no hesitation in recommending or buying from again.

We went with ABI based on customer reviews and quality of work. ABI were also cheaper than other local garage door companies by a large amount. From making enquiries and getting a quote the staff were excellent in all parts of the job. The final product and workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend this company for any door or garage door jobs.

All interactions with Abi, including initial enquiries, site visit, providing an estimate for the job, and installation date were all carried out with the utmost of efficiency. The two guys arrived on time, did and excellent job of fitting an up and over door to an old concrete garage, and left leaving no advice. Advice regarding further repairs to my garage were readily provided and they even came back later in the day to check that all was well.

I spent a fair bit of time researching a company to replace my garage door, I saw ABI and investigated and felt they had a very good reputation. From the outset I felt looked after and all my questions were answered, the initial survey was completed pain free, communication was very good and I was kept informed throughout the process. Installation was very smooth and the installer was very friendly and explained everything to me in a clear and concise way. The finished product is stunning and looks beautiful. From my initial enquiry to the completion of work ABI Garage Doors have been a pleasure to deal with. I requested a specific RAL colour on a Hormann sectional door, I got an instant quote very competively priced and within 6 weeks the door was fitted and looked amazing! ABI installed an automatic roller garage door. Their service, from surveying the work, providing a quotation and installing the door was professional and efficient.

The engineer turned up within the agreed time slot. Looked over the door and and mechanism thoroughly and explained in good simple terms what needed to be done, and then worked well to achieve that. He was with me for just under one hour. The door has never worked better and I am delighted with the work. The engineer was polite and helpful, as were the office staff who took my booking, and I would thoroughly recommend this organisation.

We are selling our house and the remote garage door hasn't been working for sometime so had to get it repaired. I knew the original manufacturers were no longer in business so I called ABI Garage Doors and left a message. Grace called me back promptly and confirmed they could send an engineer to take a look and she quoted me their minimum cost for a repair - and also the cost if a new part was needed. Craig attended on time and immediately identified the problem and repaired it so that it's working for the new owners. He also made sure the remote control device was also working. He was professional, polite and very helpful. I would highly recommend this firm.

We got our garage door controller repaired by ABI. They let me know when they would be coming, confirmed it the day before and arrived right on time. The friendly engineer completed the repair efficiently and the price charged was very fair. I would recommend them.

Installing my garage door was quite complicated because I was replacing a double door with a single one and they worked really helpfully with my builder while the wall was built to join to. This included taking away the old door booking it in at short notice then rescheduling when things got delayed our end to install the new door. They even cut a cat door in with great care to ensure it worked for my cat. Everybody I dealt with in the office showroom, installations and on-site were unfailingly helpful flexible and polite which continued once I had paid and wanted to check a couple of things. I am delighted with the door and quality of workmanship.

I contacted ABI doors by email and a Surveyor, George attended my house on Wed 30th Nov 2022. He was most helpful in assisting with the choice of garage door from the online catalogue, especially with regard to cost. He said that he would try to arrange the installation of the new door before Christmas as the old one was broken and difficult to open. To my surprise, I received a phone call 3 days later to say that the Engineers would be attending on Monday to complete the job. Brad and Matthew attended and fitted the electric up and over door in 3 hrs. I was extremely impressed by their work ethic (no stops for hot drinks) and their professionalism. Brilliant service by the ABI Team. Very impressed. Would recommend them to anybody. Competitive price also.

I have just had a new garage door installed and I am very pleased with the quality of the door and the standard of workmanship, the surveyor spent a lot of time measuring up and showing us our options and was very helpful. The price of the supply and installation was good and the quality of the door is spot on and well worth the wait which was a little longer than I had expected. Very professional.

From the initial survey and quote, right through to installation I cannot fault ABi Doors. They supplied and fitted two new up and over garage doors. Once the appointment for installation was arranged, I then received a telephone call to advise me they had had a cancellation and could fit my door several days earlier than originally arranged. This I agreed to. The two fitters turned up on time and set to work straight away. They were polite, friendly and left the site tidy, taking all their rubbish including the old doors with them. I swept the garage and drive after they had left to ensure there were no stray screws, etc. for my tyres to find, but that turned out to be more of a precaution than a necessity. I cannot fault ABi Doors and would recommend them to anyone requiring new garage doors.

I contacted ABI and several other suppliers for a quote. ABI was the only one who rang back and organised a quote. Their salesman George visited and gave us options and a quote which we accepted, The company then contacted me and we made a formal contract . within a few weeks they called back to say the door had arrived and we agreed a date for the work to be done. Two fitters arrived on time on the agreed date and made an excellent job of the door replacement. They took all the rubbish away and left a very clean site. Thanks ABI for the good job well done.

I would like to commend the sales staff, installation fitters and any and all backroom staff I came into contact with at ABI Doors in Leeds , West Yorkshire. They replaced an old timber monstrosity with a sleek Hormann automatic sectional garage door at my property and in every respect they were first rate from start to finish.At the outset there was no "hard sell" but rather an attentive note made of my requirements at an on site visit with helpful comments to ensure the design was fit for purpose. I later visited their showroom and altered my requirements having seen the huge range of doors available.There was always someone who made themselves available to explain and give information. Then came the installation by two enthusiastic young fitters who were courteous and polite, explained everything they were going do and set about the task of replacing the door in a very professional and skilled manner.At completion they explained operational aspects of the new door and made sure that I was satisfied with the installation as well as with the state of cleanliness they had left. Honestly, the place was immaculate. I believe that ABI doors has a very strong work ethic to give maximum customer satisfaction and this is reflected in their employees. Very impressive!

My carport door was damaged during recent storms and I chose ABi from a trawl of specialists on the internet to repair or replace it. Your website was engaging and informative. My initial email enquiry was answered promptly and the person responding (Grace) was particularly helpful. She negotiated a time for an engineer to visit within a few days of my enquiry. He visited on time on the appointed day. Despite the damage to my door being considerable, he worked very hard to repair it (which he eventually did). I was amazed at the lengths to which he went, single-handedly, to rectify the problem and avoid me having to replace the door. I can't speak too highly of him and Grace. Excellent representatives of your company. When I received an invoice the cost was very reasonable and within the range that Grace had quoted for me. If I have any more problems with my carport door (storm Eunice is due tomorrow) I will look no further than ABi.

I had a sectional insulated garage door fitted by ABI and have to say it exceeded expectations, work was carried out in a courteous and professional manner. The product itself is very high quality, and after only paying a deposit invoice was sent a couple of days after installation to make sure I was happy. All in all, could not have been happier.

Two and a half hours after I phoned them to report my problem, the repair engineer had been out to my home, replaced the door motor and everything was working fine again. Splendid service.

The work was done on schedule and on budget. The old door and its associated components were dismantled and removed and replaced with the new door by a team of two who appeared well-organised and efficient. The job took three hours to complete and the garage was left clean and tidy. A very satisfactory outcome.

Several other firms offered a very slow response but this was prompt. The office handled the call very efficiently and from my description quoted a price which was fair. The engineer came exactly at the appointed time, was pleasant and fixed the problem as expected. Cost was as quoted. Highly recommend this company.

We first heard about these garage doors when our next-door neighbour had one fitted. It looked really good. We contacted A.B.I Garage Doors by telephone and had a conversation with a sales advisor, Chris I think. He was very knowledgeable and we quickly opted for a surveyor to come out to do a survey. This was on or around 8.3.21. Total compliance with social distancing and mask-wearing was adhered to at all times by the surveyor who took his time and did an excellent job. We were told there probably would be a delay in getting the door due to Covid, which we accepted. The installation took place on 3.6.21. The guys who came couldn't have been any nicer, they did an excellent job and did things to our total satisfaction, with a very good looking Hormann electric garage door in graphite. What a lovely set of friendly people. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Having managed to lock ourselves out of our garage ABI managed to get us back in hassle free and with minimal damage. Craig who attended was really knowledgeable and stayed late to finish the job. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

Although a relatively small job (supply and fitting of new springs to garage door), I was greatly impressed by the very pleasant and efficient way in which all aspects of the process were carried out. Long-serving fitter carried out the job competently and intelligently. Would happily use them again for a more complex and expensive exercise.

Called in when our old garage door stopped opening and shutting on the remote. Luke talked us through the fault, did some research, set out likely costs and implications if a replacement panel was required. He booked an engineers visit but also did further research and made a suggestion that solved the problem without need for further action. Excellent customer service, his aim was to save us unnecessary work and to make sure that we were compliant with regulations. Talked me through reprogramming our door opener over the phone on a busy Saturday afternoon. Claire was excellent and very patient. It would have been so easy to send someone out and charge us for the fix. The door is about 8 years old and this level of help and support really is above and beyond and rare in my experience these days. I cannot recommended them enough.
