We are a small family business born from generations of roofers going back over a hundred years.
Our ways of working and ethics are as they used to be, our methods are the same, we just use modern materials now.
Because we are family business, there are no sub contractors, no one to come and do you're job differently to the job I have described.
We are members of Constructionline, which is a government run pre qualified scheme, which means we have insurances, health and safety, etc.
We are also members of Essex County Council's Buy With Confidence scheme, We have been vetted and crb checked.Whatever work we do is done to the same high standard. We work for several schools in Havering and also Havering Council.
We take pride in making customers property look better for us having carried out work. You will see from any of the pictures of our work how everything is all set out neat, tidy, equal and straight, which shows that we care

Flat roof repair Excellent work and a fair price Real confidence in using this company, we had a non-urgent repair and waited till they could fit us in as I wouldn't trust anyone else We have used this company before for guttering replacement and they fixed problems with it not running well and overflowing. Been nearly two years and really works well with the new run they put in to fix the problem

i have just had my 20 x 10 flat roof stripped and re boarded with insulation boards re felted and new fascias guttering and drainpipe The work was carried out by Malcolm and his son Paul without any problems to a high standard they are also clean and tidy workers I would recommend this company to anyone

Abel Roofing renewed my flat roof and installed Velux Skylights. This was not as straightforward as first thought. However with their professionalism and perseverance the job was finished with minimal extra cost which was agreed. They removed all the old roofing as they went. There was good communication with me throughout and with follow on trades. Very pleasant to have working for me and they left everything very tidy. Thank you.

It was a pleasure to have Malcolm & Paul work on our porch. With a challenging job ahead, their knowledge & expertise shone through. They quietly got on with the work, always keeping us in the picture with what was happening. Even when substandard material was delivered, which only their expert eye picked up on & was rejected. Malcolm had lots of patience, giving us as much time as we needed to make decisions on products to use, giving us the benefit of his knowledge along the way. Very satisfied customer, would recommend the work done by Malcolm and Paul. I've had a leaking garage roof for 10 years which 2 previous roofers and a builder have attempted to either replace or repair. The roofers failed completely and the builder was only able to stop some of the leaks. Malcolm examined the roof explained what work was needed to repair the garage roof but more importantly explained what didn't need doing. He also gave me an estimate to replace a wooden facia and guttering on a rear extension. Once I agreed to the work in early August Malcolm and Paul started the work which was completed within a week with Malcolm keeping me updated. The repairs were tested the following day by thunderstorms during the night and heavy rain all morning, NO leaks at all. After 10 years of trying a very satisfied customer.

I have used Able Felt Roofing Ltd for 2 sets of work. A new surround to a dormer window and 2 velux windows to be replaced. I found Malcolm and Paul to be very professional in their approach to the works. Very tidy, very quiet and just got on with the job without us really noticing. We are very pleased with the outcome of the work and it is of a very high standard. We moved quite recently and found that our bedroom was quite dark. After some research we thought about a "sun tunnel". We contacted Able Felt roofing as they are a local company who are "Velux Approved". This is a small family run business, and Malcolm and his son Paul carried out the work. Malcolm advised us and was very clear and honest with the pro's and cons of the different options. We were really impressed with the work, and their tidiness. The guys had to deal with an already boarded loft, and the tunnel really takes up no space at all in the loft due to the way they managed to position it. We are really happy with the results, the difference is amazing!!
