We are a small family business born from generations of roofers going back over a hundred years.
Our ways of working and ethics are as they used to be, our methods are the same, we just use modern materials now.
Because we are family business, there are no sub contractors, no one to come and do you're job differently to the job I have described.
We are members of Constructionline, which is a government run pre qualified scheme, which means we have insurances, health and safety, etc.
We are also members of Essex County Council's Buy With Confidence scheme, We have been vetted and crb checked.Whatever work we do is done to the same high standard. We work for several schools in Havering and also Havering Council.
We take pride in making customers property look better for us having carried out work. You will see from any of the pictures of our work how everything is all set out neat, tidy, equal and straight, which shows that we care

I asked Able felt roofing to replace my garage roof, which was leaking.. They attended at short notice. They re boarded the roof up rated the joists and re felted. The work was completed efficiently and competently. This is the second time we have used this company. I am very impressed with them.

Was very pleased with the guttering work that was carried out on my bungalow recently. The finished product was to a high standard and looks far nicer than the guttering that was insitu. I felt very confident using Able Felt Roofing as Malcolm seemed very knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions on how the existing guttering could be improved. He also gave me a date when I could expect work to commence and kept to this date. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services. The aftercare has been fantastic! A great firm and a job well done by his son Paul.

Malcolm and Paul did a great job. We initially contacted them because we noticed a leak around one of our chumneys, and they came round promptly to take a look and quote. The quote was reasonable and Malcolm was very knowledgeable so we were happy to proceed. Just before they were due to complete the job our flat roof started leaking, and Malcolm kindly came straight away to do an emergency repair. He was then able to do a more permanent repair when he came to deal with our original leak. He kept us informed of what needed to be fixed and sent us before and after photos. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. We’d happily use them again and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks Malcolm & Paul!

My garage roof was leaking and asbestos. Malcolm arranged for the roof to be removed with his supervision by a licensed contractor. The replacement steel roof was installed within the agreed time frame. I am more than pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend this company. What we loved particularly was they are both quiet men and got on with the job in hand without any shouting to each other or radio blaring.
