We have over 800 mobility products so you’ll definitely find something to suit your needs. Our friendly store staff can help you find a product to meet your requirements. For convenience we also have an online store for many of our products and offer Click and Collect at your local store.

As a Which Trusted Trader we have a highly skilled engineering Department that provides servicing and repairs for lots of different mobility products, at reasonable rates. We provide servicing and repairs on wheelchairs, stairlifts, mobility scooters and powerchairs, all by our fully trained and experienced in-house engineers.

From start to finish I found the staff at Ableworld (Burton-upon-Trent) really helpful and professional. The measuring-up and ordering process went very smoothly, and I felt I was well advised as to the type and specifications of the stairlift which was appropriate for my small staircase. After a three-week wait for the rails to be manufactured, the stairlift was successfully installed with a minimum of fuss (and no mess!) by engineers Simon Barnes and Symon Plant; and I am very happy indeed with a job well done. My thanks and congratulations to all involved.

We required a stair lift urgently - Ableworld came out Saturday 27/10 measured up & gave us a price. Then came back Monday 29/10 & fitted the stair lift. You can not get much better than that.

My son asked for a survey for a stairlift. The fitter arrived on time on the 12th October 2018. He was very helpful explaining how it would be fitted. It was arranged to be done on 19th October 2018. He came on time and did a very good job. He was a real gentleman and had a great sense of humour and we were very happy with the work he did for us. We think he is a great asset to the firm. We have only had the lift for a short time, but feel the benefit already.

I had a stair lift fitted to my house (Grade 2* listed), arrived on time, items unpacked & rubbish cleared away. Everything explained to me regarding the installation, very clearly & professionally. 4 hrs later given a demo on use & safety instructions & a few trial rides to make sure I understood everything. Trader was very friendly & amenable & answered any queries that I had.
