Ableworld Paisley

We visited Ableworld in Paisley to look at stairlifts. Assistants very helpful and attentive. We decided on the chairlift and a few days later Graham came to check the stairway and a few days after that came to install it. He was very polite and friendly and had the chairlift fitted within the time specified. He patiently explained to me how to use the stairlift and I was delighted with it. Also explained about the aftercare . Graham had also left the stairway spotless! I would thoroughly recommend

We have purchased electronic chair and walkers for mum in the past from Paisley shop and delighted with service. I visited with mum who thought a Walker with seat would help as she has hip and back problems. Jacky was super helpful and provided a variety of options but it became apparent that mum cannot turn around sufficiently and felt nervous, so not an option. She mentioned to Jacky that her shoulder was giving problems and when Jacky checked her Walker realised it wasn’t set correctly, think we had changed that in the past. Jacky adjusted the chair and almost immediately Mum felt more confident and walked more upright. Jacky’s service was simply superb she was thoughtful and caring to Mum and although we made no purchase this time will continue to support the shop and recommend to all. Thank you. Marion

Our mums condition was terminal and her ability to climb stairs had begun to deteriorate. Once we decided to investigate getting a stairlift all we managed to get was endless salesmen with over inflated prices – really painful. I eventually approached Ableworld to see if they could recommend someone as I was sick to the teeth of the pressure sales process. The girl in the shop explained they did their own and could send an engineer, she stressed there would be no sales pitches, just the necessary information to allow us to make a choice. The chap that came was a very practical engineer who explained all our options and costs. In the end we rented our stairlift for mum. As with many elderly people my mum was horrified at the changes being made to her house. She also went out of her way to pretend it was all too complex and the poor engineer spent ages patiently demonstrating the lift (not that it was complex just my mum hated change). Being honest we expected to see the engineer again in a few weeks to remove the setup as mums prognoses was not good. Mum did much better than expected and the lifts worked flawlessly for almost for 18 months. They effectively allowed mum to remain in her own home throughout her illness, she needed a hospital bed and when it was brought to the house it was installed in a bedroom where she wanted it rather than in her living room. One week before she died we were chatting and the stair lift came into our discussion.

Stewart and Luke installed a stairlift.They did a great job and explained clearly how it works.The job was done to a high standard and I would highly recommend this Company.
