Academy converted my existing 2 boiler home central heating system to 1 boiler. The work was quite involved but John was able to use his wealth of knowledge and to ensure that the new system operated as it should, willingly taking all the time and effort required. John was very helpful, solving the practical problems, dealing with our queries and explaining the changes. Clare, in the office, organised the work and was always very helpful and prompt in answering emails and arranging appointments which were convenient for me. A well organised and efficient company who carried out a professional installation in a very friendly manner. I will certainly be using Academy in the future for boiler servicing and any other work which they can undertake. I would recommend them without any reservations.

Installation of a new boiler and hot water tank in an elderly house to replace an antiquated system. Clear and detailed estimate which was the final cost. All communications were clear and helpful. Appointments were always kept and on time. The main work was carried out very professionally and took the estimated three days to complete. Duncan and John who carried out the work were very helpful, solving the practical problems, dealing with with our queries and explaining the changes. Clare, in the office, organised the work and was always very helpful and prompt in answering emails. We have used this company for a number of years for our annual boiler check. We are always pleased with their work. It is easy to arrange an appointment and the lady who answers the phone is pleasant and helpful and we are given a four hour slot when the engineer will call. This year the engineer was going to arrive early (amazing!) and we were informed in good time. The work is always done quickly and to a good standard, with appropriate advice as required. We would recommend this company.

We used Academy Heating to install two new boilers. Although this was a major installation and there were some initial teething problems, Clare, Duncan and John were very speedy in resolving these and the guys immediately returned after a phone call. I realised that we had no hot water or heating mid-morning on a cold January day and called Academy Heating. The phone was answered within a couple of rings with the lovely lady who had taken my call arranging for an engineer to visit that day despite it being unsurprisingly a very busy day in winter. The engineer arrived early afternoon, diagnosed the fault in less than 10 seconds and remedied the problem in less than a minute. The Academy Heating team have always been a pleasure to use and are unfailingly polite, prompt, efficient, problem solvers and kind. Thank you again

The previous owner of my property used Academy Heating to fit the Worcester boiler. Due to lack of servicing (my fault, I hadn't arranged this in 2 years), the boiler stopped working. I called Academy Heating since their number was on the boiler, and they arranged to both service and fix the boiler in a couple of days (i was out the next day). Given the time of year, I was expecting a wait. I was glad to have the boiler back up and running quickly.

Duncan from Academy Heating did a safety check and service on our gas fire, which hadn't been serviced for 4 years. Booking the appointment was quick and efficient, and Duncan, who is a very pleasant guy, arrived on time and was very thorough and informative. The price we were charged was extremely reasonable. Used Academy for a boiler service several months ago after three other recommended Heating Engineers failed to respond to telephone enquiries, Academy responded immediately making a point of checking if we were without heating and agreed a firm date to carry out service. Recently we decided to have our boiler replaced and having asked Academy to provide an estimate decided to proceed. They arrived on time and carried out the installation effectively and with minimal disruption. Glad we chose them and would certainly recommend ‘Academy’.

I have used Academy Heating over the years for annual boiler servicing plus minor plumbing issues with complete satisfaction - always easily contactable, reliable, punctual, courteous, clean and excellent value. More recently I contacted Academy Heating for advice and a visit regarding my boiler. The appointment was efficiently arranged by Clare for the next morning. The assessment was thorough and the explanation clear and simple. Duncan the engineer also kindly reminded me that there was a 10 year warranty on my boiler and that Bosch would be able to repair any problems for free. Such integrity was so refreshing. I suspect that some other companies might not have reminded me about the warranty. In summary Academy Heating is a fantastic local firm that genuinely puts customers first. I just wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I have been using Academy Heating services for almost 2 years now. I have never experienced outstanding service from any other company other than John and Claire. They have dealt with leakage issues as well as kitchen/tap replacements for my home. They’ve always been on time and delivered excellence when carrying out a job. They are completely honest, totally reliable so much so that I would recommend Academy Heating to everyone that I know. Have used Academy Heating twice now. Clare is very helpful on the phone. The service is efficient and reliable. All the plumbers seem to know exactly what they’re doing. They have also been honest when parts that were previously quoted for haven’t been required, meaning the final price was lower. I have had no problems with their work.
