Before using Ray I hired another damp specialist. This company seemed more interested in offering me the most expensive solution than actually helping me. They quoted over 5k! So I did a bit of research and discovered it is quite common for a lot of companies in this industry to immediately diagnose rising damp and flog the most expensive product they can. So I was lucky to find Ray. Speaking to me on the phone he came across as totally different. He explained how he worked and how he fought against the 'sharks'. So I got him in. Ray's solution? Over 3k LESS than the other company. On top of that he was quick with help and answering queries. I highly recommend.

Gary was fantastic .I was overwhelmed by the amount of defects he noticed and he answered all of my queries on the day and said email or phone him if i had any further questions or concerns. The individual, Gary, who ran the survey gave a full verbal debrief and very detailed written report including useful information for non-urgent changes we're likely to make to the property in years to come. Remortgage lender required a damp and timber survey on my HMO property. After researching many surveyors and/ or contractors, I became very weary of bogus rogue traders as I stumbled across a legit looking website to find out that they were exposed on Watchdog (please do your research)! I had a peace of mind when I came across Academy Remedial Surveyors' website to find that they are independent surveyors (not contractors) and registered with Property Care Association. I was able to get the survey done with Gary 2 days after contacting ARS. He then emailed me the comprehensive report the next day. The whole process was fuss free. Very pleased and happy.
