Access Able has been supplying the community with mobility and homecare aids since 2003 and we are proud to be able to help our customers to retain their independence and quality of living. We operate from our friendly showroom in Bedminster, Bristol, with our team of knowledgeable staff and professional, trained engineers. We supply a vast range of products including mobility scooters, stairlifts, wheelchairs, rise and recliners, power chairs, beds and more, as well as daily living aids. We also offer a Rental service on many of our items such as mobility scooters, stairlifts and wheelchairs, as well as Maintenance and Repair services for many items including almost all makes and models of mobility scooter.
We pride ourselves on our aftercare, offering out of hours breakdown assistance and emergency repair for our customers.

I hired a tall walking frame and a perching stool for my stay in a hotel. When I arrived I found they had supplied a small walking frame and a shower stool - no use at all. Since it was after 5 on Friday they said there was nothing they could do. The following Monday I received a full refund, but no apology.

Access Able was recommended to us by our GP practice nurse, and how right she was! We got good advice from one of the managers on the phone, and the product we needed a high loo seat was in stock. When we got in (NB door hard to push), what we needed was instantly provided with good advice on ease of fitting. Excellent service and attaching to the loo was quick and easy, and when we go on holiday we can take it with us. Excellent product from a Which Trusted Trader business.

I hire a stair life for my Mum and for various reasons there has been issues with it. When I have contacted Access Able, they are always very responsive whether by phone or email and get an engineer out so quickly to repair it. Recently her wheelchair broke and I took the part down to see if they could mend it, unfortunately a new part was needed but they sourced it really quickly, kept me informed by email of when it would be in and rang as soon as they had received it. Dan was superb sorting this out for me. Every time I have I am contact with them, I am always so impressed with their high level of customer service and their positive helpful manner. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

In only twenty four hours, my new scooter was ordered, paid for, and personal modifications made. A phone call from them today told me all the work is done and the scooter will be delivered today. I cannot pay Access Able a sufficient compliment good enough for all the kindness and total cooperation they have shown me, both Danny in the store and workshop, and the girls in the office. A wonderful company that truly care about disabled people like me.

We have used Access Able several times when they have repaired a wheelchair and more recently when we bought a new one. In November we needed to have a stairlift fitted for my Mum at very short notice. I emailed them very late at night, and had received a reply by the morning. They came to measure things that day and it was fitted within 24 hours. They are very experienced and gave great guidance and advice each time we have used them. They are easy to contact, very receptive and quick to get things repaired / sorted / fitted. Hugely impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and their compassion too. Highly recommend them.

I write this on behalf of my mum, Mrs Green, she purchased a scooter and realised that a month later she could not get on with it due to her disability, I spoke to a wonderful man called Doug who i believe went above and beyond to ensure my mum was looked after and sure enough he did! I cannot thank Doug and this wonderful family run company for being so understanding and caring, they totally put their customers first, they believe in 1st class service but most of all they are compassionate and care about the needs of people with disabilities, I would highly recommend them, its rare to come across a company that delivers both excellent service with a kind, caring, compassionate customer service.
