Excellent service from both Phil who initially visited and discussed options and Ashley who installed the loft ladder and the battery operated lights, which I added to the order at the very last minute. He was very considerate in all aspects of the job and conferred with me, regarding the positioning of the ladder, when extended and also the position of the hatch, when open. He also took great care explaining how to extend and secure the ladder. 2 days before the install date I decided to add lights to the order. ( my electrician booked for the job let me down at last minute) Ashley installed corded battery operated lights which are a great alternative and far more cost effective to install than electric lights. I would definitely recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use for further future projects

From the first phone call to having the work done a week later I was very impressed with how friendly and professional they were. Jayden and Ash were polite and professional in asking about any concerns I might have before starting the work. The telescopic loft Ladder and work carried out to an excellent standard, and the loft ladder is of very high quality material. I was given a demonstration how to operate the ladder and felt comfortable enough to operate the ladder minutes after they had left my home. I feel very safe and secured using it. Ash and Jayden tidy and took great care of my property, and took all of the material away with them, and provided an excellent service.

Phil and Pete were excellent when they fitted the loft hatch and boarded out half of my loft then Phil and a new assistant boarded out the remainder after I had all electrical work carried out again they were great and left my premises in clean and tidy condition

We had a new larger loft hatch and ladder fitted by Access4 lofts. Russell was very professional and ensured that we were happy with the location of the new hatch before proceeding with the work. He completed the job very efficiently and ensured that all working areas in our home were covered with dust sheets before commencing. We initially had some work completed in Nov 2022 by Jim, we knew at the time we wouldn't be able to have the loft fully boarded due to an old water tank blocking access to other half of the loft. We have now had the 2nd half boarded again by Jim. With the help of Access4Lofts, we have turned an unusable area into the perfect storage area. Both times Jim has produced excellent work and is very friendly and polite. He has excellent customer service and tradesman skills. From the initial communication with Des, to the visit on 9 February by Pete and Phil, the service has been excellent. Des was really quick to respond to my emails to obtain a quote for fitting 2 replacement loft hatches. On the day Pete and Phil arrived and quickly and quietly prepared and fitted replacement loft surround and hatches (I work from home so really appreciated this). They checked with me how I wanted the loft hatch to drop to ensure that I was happy with what was going on and then demonstrated how easy it was to use the loft latch. They were not only very quick but once finished vacuumed up after themselves too. Could not recommend enough. Great product and service.

I used Access4Lofts Chelmsford to enlarge my existing loft access and install a telescopic ladder. The planning meeting was very useful and helped me identify which way the enlargement could be made and a choice of ladders. The costs were given in a quote and the work was carried out by Pete at the appointed time. The work took only two to three hours and Pete was very professional friendly and very tidy. A new loft hatch was fitted with a telescopic ladder, and 300mm rock wool was insulation for the whole loft area. They arrived on time and laid dust sheets to keep all carpets clean. The loft hatch was installed and finished off very well. A very professional job. The insulation was laid and looks good, and I am sure the house will be much warmer. when they were finished, they allowed me to inspect the work and gave me a demonstration of how the telescopic ladder operates. Phil, Peter and Amadeus were very professional throughout, and I was very pleased with the work they carried out.

Phil, Jim and Pete did an excellent job in around six hours insulating the loft, boarding about 50%. They adapted the hatch and fitted a three-section ladder. Very pleased and would recommend the service to anyone.

I was referred to Access4Lofts by a friend of my daughter who was aware that I was looking for a company to carry out the work I required. She had been very impressed by the work that they carried out for her two months previous. I had just moved into a bungalow and needed extra storage space having moved from a larger property. The loft access was a small hatch which considerably limited what could be stored in, what otherwise was, a large loft space. After making contact with Access4Lofts, I was contacted speedily by their representative (Des) who visited, told me about the work they could do and gave me a quote for what I needed doing. Des was professional, knowledgeable and installed confidence. I accepted the quote for a new larger hatch with a fold out ladder and the laying of a floating floor across two thirds of the loft. I was also offered an installation date and told that their technicians would arrive at 8.30am. The day arrived and at 8.25am, Phil, Pete and Jim turned up, introduced themselves and got straight down to the work. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and 8 hours after arriving, they had completed the work and invited me to inspect it and also showed me how to use the hatch and ladder. I was so impressed, the flooring in the loft was superb and the new hatch and ladder was everything I wanted. It is rare to be able to compliment trademen, but I cannot praise Access4Lofts more highly. Truly excellent workmanship and I would highly recommend.

The company reinsulated and reboarded my loft which was badly needed. The whole experience was very easy. The initial quote from Des was very useful and informative, including not trying to sell me on any products which weren't needed and not replacing existing stuff unnecessarily (e.g. my existing loft ladder and hatch). Des and His team undertook the task of boarding my new build loft, like a lot of people I was unsure of how this would work and how difficult it would be considering the complexity of the loft layout.
