The whole process of having our loft converted was very straightforward. Eifion came and did an assessment, and then costed the work for us. We were given itemised costs for every element of the work, which made the process completely transparent. Dan the fitter was extremely diligent, completing the work swiftly. He patiently showed us how to use the loft ladder, repeating things just to make sure that we “oldies” had grasped all the detail! He cleared up after himself at the end of every day, and the carpet was cleaner when he left than when he arrived! We would highly recommend this company.

We were after loft boarding for our new build property and were unsure of the type of boarding we required and whether it would affect the warranty and insulation etc. Eifion was very professional in putting our minds at ease and explaining the options available. Arrived on time agreed to complete the work which was installing telescopic loft ladder, after removing old, and considerably enlarging the hatch access. In addition 9 square metres of loft boarding was laid providing storage space within reach of loft hatch. The work was completed as stated and the clean up was impeccable. I can highly recommend this company and staff. I wanted to top up the insulation in my loft, emailed for a quote and was contacted within the hour to arrange a day and time a few days later. Eifion arrived and helped me with various suggestions and I agreed to the very reasonable quote. The work was carried out the very next morning due to a cancellation by Dan who did a brilliant job with the insulation and putting membrane on the rafters. He worked around my stuff and cleaned everything perfectly. I was truly delighted with the work and have no hesitation recommending this company. Access4Lofts carried out the work to board out 50% of the accessible loft, and install a new a loft hatch with a retractable ladder. They turned up on time, were courteous provided dust sheets and carried out the work to our complete satisfaction. They worked diligently and cleaned up afterward. We had old loft boarding removed, new boarding installed over a significant area, insulation lifted and replaced and a new loft ladder fitted. The survey and quote process were straightforward and a fixed price quote given immediately with a full explanation of how the work would be carried out. Very impressed with professionalism and efficiency from this company. Eifion showed me different types of loft ladder and helped me choose most suitable one. The price quoted was very reasonable and I agreed to go ahead. Danny came to fit the ladder and put sheeting on the stairs and landing before work began. Once he had fitted the ladder he showed me how to safely get ladder down from loft and secure it. Also how to put it back safely and securely. The service given by Access4Lofts was excellent. We were kept informed from start to final installation. On arrival the installer advised us how he would carry out the work. The installation was carried out in a clean and tidy manner. We were shown how to operate the door and ladder in a clear and concise manner. Work carried out - installation of loft ladder and boarding with new hatch. Eifion is a very good first point of contact and helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Marie, in the office, has a friendly and cheerful manner and explains arrangements clearly. Danny is a very approachable young man and obviously takes pride in his work. Really pleased with the work carried out. All done within the day. Covered the carpets to protect from dirt and hoovered up afterwards. Also, all rubbish removed.

I was very impressed with the recent work carried out. We had our loft boarded and a new loft ladder fitted. The quote was very reasonable and Eifion took the time to patiently answer all my questions, there was no sales pressure at all. Eifion and his colleague Danny were very friendly and I was impressed with how clean and tidy they left the house (you wouldn't have know they had been there!). They removed all the left over materials and even very thoughtfully and kindly removed the nails from the old boarding so that it was much safer to handle and easier for me to move and dispose of. In addition to the summary cited in 'Title', housekeeping was excellent. The installer had additional national issues to manoeuvre around - shortage of diesel for his vehicle, assistant absent due to an injury and unavailability of materials at suppliers because of distribution difficulties. The finished job looks very smart, is fully functional and specification is better than expected. Would approach this installer to do other jobs if required and would recommend to others unreservedly.
