My name is Dale and I’m your Edinburgh based loft ladder installation expert. I can help you utilise your loft space by providing quick, easy and affordable loft access and storage solutions.
I can install a loft ladder, loft hatch, loft boarding, insulate and even put in a light, often in just 1 day – no mess, no fuss, just easy access to all that lovely storage space.

Loft hatch and ladder fitted with insulation and boards. Was completed within time scale with a reduction in price for less boards needed. Dale advised where boards were to go. No mess and Dale is a very pleasant person and communicative and he likes a Kit Kat.

Following a comprehensively itemised quote and agreement of date work to be carried out, Dale arrived and started work straight away. The loft hatch was being increased in size, a new hatch and ladder installed and an area of flooring put down. Area surrounding loft hatch was well protected against the mess of cutting lath and plaster, and all work was carried out neatly and cleanly. Delighted to finally have good access. Already considering extending the floored area! Would certainly recommend Dale.

Dale was lovely and did a great job of cleaning up after himself. My finial price was actually cheaper as Dale was able to reuse the existing loft insulation attached to the old hatch to fill in missing insulation so he took it off the price. I have deliberately left my review for several months due to past issues with quality of works done (not from Dale or Access4Lofts). The ladder, whilst being light weight, is still going strong despite a lot of use. Both the ladder and hatch are of good quality and I would definitely recommend Dale (and therefore Access4Lofts).
