As we had just moved to Exmouth we were looking for a good reliable company to board the loft and install a new ladder and light. Nico was recommended to us by a number of people. We found him to be punctual, professional, courteous and polite. He was very hard working and carried out the work with a minimum of fuss and was very clean and tidy. Nico's estimate was highly competitive. There was excellent communication with his office prior to the installation. He works alone, but was extremely efficient. He did an outstanding job boarding the loft and installing a loft ladder in our very old cottage. There was barely any mess or dust and he finished the job well within his 2 day estimate. Nico has just completed the replacement of our tatty old loft hatch and the installation of a telescopic loft ladder. Nico put in a new loft access and strengthened and laid a new floor. He was very professional, pleasant, scrupulously clean and tidy and did an excellent job, on time and on budget.

Following recent damage to our loft-latch we decided to upgrade everything and contacted Access4Lofts to visit us and to submit a quote for replacing our (now) unsafe hatch and our old and rickety telescopic ladder. Nico duly arrived and swiftly and accurately assessed our requirements and offered us a range of options to choose from. His confident manner and can-do attitude clearly indicated that he knew what he was talking about and he came up with a solution to enlarge the loft hatch and fit a new ladder. By the end of the day we had received a quote for a new loft door, a new ladder plus a new lock and mountings. I believed the quote to be very reasonable and we accepted it on the day. When Nico arrived on 1st August he firstly changed into over-shoes and put down protection on our carpeting. I found him very respectful of our home, something rarely encountered. Following completion of the job Nico cleared everything away and tidied up. He left us with a very professional piece of work and we are delighted with the result. Also, grateful to Pat for keeping us informed throughout the whole project.

We had a tiny loft hatch which was very difficult to access and required a rather unsafe stand-alone ladder. Nico quoted and gave me great confidence that he knew what he was talking about and came up with a solution to enlarge the loft hatch and fit a new ladder. As the height of the loft is so limited it needed to be a telescopic ladder. No only did Nico do a great job, he arrived when he said he would, he put down protection on the floor and cleared up after the job. The job he did was very professional and neat and we are delighted with the result. Let me also say that Pat in the office was also excellent - she made the appointment, followed up prior to the installation day and all the follow-up was done in a similarly professional manner. So often companies are let down by the "behind-the-scenes" support but Pat deserves recognition of her work too. Highly recommended and based on my experience, my neighbour is having similar work done also.

We had an open staircase to loft room. Nico removed staircase made hatch smaller fitted wooden loft ladder and new loft hatch. Great work, very tidy. Great communication very friendly and polite.
