I had main part of my loft floored a hatch and ladder fitted. I was desperate for additional storage space as both my partner and I are working from home. Graeme was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He helped with ideas with what I actually required. He kept to the original quote in both pirce and time to complete the work. Was super careful with covid procedures. The completed work was amazing all done to a very high standard. Graeme clearly takes pride in his work and ensured all was cleared up very well, used floor covering to keep my carpets clean and hoovered any dust once completed. I cannot recommend Graeme enough.

We asked Graeme to install a ladder in our unconventional loft space, which required a concertina ladder to be installed. Graeme went out of his way to source a ladder, then did a first class job at installing it in no time at all. And he also cleaned up completely after himself, leaving the space spotless! Overall we are delighted with Graeme’s work and definitely recommend him.

Graeme did a great job converting our attic space for storage. He was very professional, punctual and worked safely to Covid protocols. We needed the original hatch moved, ladder access added, raised flooring board system and shelves for storage. I am very impressed with how it turned out and there is now so much extra storage space in our home.

We had no problems with Graeme’s work from start to finish. Our work was scheduled originally for April but had to be cancelled due to lockdown. At all times Graeme kept us fully informed and telephoned us when he was back working to reschedule our work. We were very impressed by his workmanship, his courtesy and the fact he took the necessary precautions when completing our work, ie wearing a mask, sanitising etc. When we saw the finished work we were absolutely delighted with it. Our loft looks amazing with ample insulation and storage. Graeme talked us through what he had done and left our house immaculate, he hoovered up any mess! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Graeme and am delighted with his standard of work, a very professional job.

Graeme, arranged a quote at my home explained all parts if it in detail and made appropriate suggestions. He attended on the date agreed and got on with his work promptly. Mr Graeme Hardie of Access4Lofts surveyed our loft for flooring, discussed our requirements and explained what was needed. He subsequently emailed the detailed quote for the service and he also stated that if we had any questions not to hesitate to call him anytime. He emailed again on 8th June advising us that he was back working again and had an opening on 24th June 2020 to carry out the work if suitable. We agreed on that date and he carried out the work completely satisfactorily and well within the Covid-19 guidelines. He kept us well up to date with all situations. He was very polite and pleasant and we are satisfied with the work carried out.

Graeme done a fantastic job flooring out my loft space. Initially was looking into getting the job done in March and Graeme had come up as one of the least expensive with one of the best reputations I could find around. Unfortunately the virus hit and quarantine came around about that time but Graeme had kept in touch and guaranteed the same price and to re-arrange the work once he was free to do so. Couldn't have asked for any better considering the situation. Once he was able to do it he got stuck in and done the work even faster than he said he would and this was also considering my dodgy loft configuration. Kept the place tidy and cleaned up after, you'd never know he was there if it wasn't for the nice new flooring in the loft. Overall fantastic work, definitely recommended.

Highly professional, approachable with workmanship of a very high standard. He did a great job at adapting our loft hatch, fitting a loft ladder and laying new insulation. Our work was delayed owing to the coronavirus pandemic but Graeme went out of his way to keep us updated, as well as informing us on the best practice measures that he would taking when performing the work. Graeme came to my house, at my request, offered me a selection of options and gave me a quote for installing the loft-access ladder I selected and adjusting the hatch to suit. I was happy with his quote and so the job was arranged for a date which suited my arrangements. Graeme sent a mobile text on the previous day, saying he would be at my house by 09:00am on the agreed date and was there promptly as promised. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard and Graeme was friendly at all times. In addition, dust sheet were put down from my front door, all the way up to the loft access, to protect my carpets. Upon completion of the job, Graeme gave me a full demonstration of how to open the hatch and lower the ladder, making sure I could do it myself. Everything was tidied away before he left so we had no mess whatsoever. In addition, he told me that the installation comes with a lifetime guarantee. So, all-in-all I'd happily recommend Access4lofts to anyone wanting this work done.

Graeme gave a great quote for a new loft access to be created with a custom fit hand made access hatch with retracting ladder. He and his assistant also cleared out a lot of rubbish from the area and replaced deteriorated boards and finished the eves with a covering giving it a professional, tidy finish. They were polite, tidy and efficient workers keeping to schedule and on budget. I'm delighted with the job and would definitely recommend Graeme to anyone.

After getting a loft hatch and ladder installed in Dec 19, I booked Graeme/Access4Lofts to fit some loft flooring in my loft, as I was so happy with the work done previously. As before, dealing with Graeme was a breeze, easy to talk to and upfront re costs (which were great) and the work required and timings etc. Graeme turned up bang on time and the flooring was fitted, quickly but to a great standard. Graeme kept me right up to speed with what he was doing and explained need for slight adjustment on the ladder and only did this after my agreement and to the angle I required. Got a loft ladder and new extended loft hatch fitted 2/12/19. The quality of the finish is excellent. Dealing with Graeme has been hassle free from start to finish. From the initial contact, site visit for a quote and right through to installation. All work carried out as agreed, on time and on budget. Even got an upgrade on my ladder. Graeme responded promptly right from the start, when others couldn't even be bothered to reply to me. He gave us advice about our loft latch (as we were decorating at the time) and, again, was really quick to give us a quote and then set a date for the work to start. He wasn't the cheapest but I truly believe his work was worth it - I never thought I'd say this about a loft hatch(!) but it really looked amazing. And most of all, the hatch was safe, draught proof and easy to access (unlike our old hatch). He was quick and tidy, and even gave the hatch door and frame two coats of white paint beforehand. I'd asked for a moulded frame too and his workmanship was impressive. He even realigned our ladder (even though he wasn't supplying us with a new ladder) to give us more room, at no extra cost. I would really recommend Graeme if you're looking for a trustworthy, quick and high quality service.

Mr Hardie arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. Efficient, considerate of surroundings with no damage or mess and very neat finish. Working of ladder explanied and detailed paperwork produced. Would definately reccommend. I only needed basic ladder to suit short term needs, but would have considered the other options available if staying in the house for a few more years and maybe being less able bodied.

Graeme did a great job of our loft flooring, light and spring assisted ladder. From the minute he walked into our house he was polite, and respectful - putting dust covers on his shoes. Second time I have used Graeme’s services. This time in kitchen extension he fitted a new, bespoke drop down loft hatch which he had made. Arrived on time. Respectful of environment. I contacted Access4Lofts through a friend who had already had his loft floored and loft ladder installed. Graeme contacted me and arranged a date to come out and give me a quote for flooring my loft and installing a loft ladder. I must say that we've been very happy all the way through from quote to completion. Graeme was in touch to confirm price and installation date shortly after the quote. He turned up on time carried out the work, showed me how the loft ladder worked. Hoovered up and left the house just as he found it. Very friendly service would be happy to recommend Graeme to anybody.

Installation day and Graeme arrived at the allotted time despite a distance to travel and traffic (the night before text reminder and times is a good, helpful and professional touch) Ladders and modifications were done very well and work was done non stop over 4 hr period. There was no mess left as all was hoovered and cleaned. A clear demonstration of operation of folding ladder and safety locks etc was done. Excellent job and service by a small independent business, which is well run. Glad to recommend.

Just recently had my loft floored by Graeme and he's done an amazing job! Price very reasonable which was detailed when he carried out the initial survey. I have a new build home and the latch is in an awkward place and very figity to open. Graeme swapped out the latch for a new easy open latch, new loft ladder installed and floored the loft space. The loft legs were installed also so it won't affect my insulation and the 10 year warranty on my new build home. Graeme was very nice and very clean and tidy.
