This is the second time we have engaged with Access4Lofts Glasgow North to install loft ladders, enlarged loft hatch, flooring and lighting. Graeme and the team have delivered again on workmanship, programme, budget and communication. We have recommended to friends and family in the past and will continue to do so.

The service we received was outstanding from the first contact when we asked for a quote all the way through to installation and payment. In particular the diligence to communicating every step faultlessly. Graeme came out to give a quote and he measured up and talked me through the styles of ladders and due to the hatch size guided us in the right direction for the hatch insulation and locks. In particular we were looking for a quality ladder with grip. The smooth operation was also essential as our old one rattled and was extremely difficult to pull down. We received the quote and was given an installation date to suit our needs. On installation day Graeme and Steven arrived at the time they said they would and ensured all the hall and porch carpets were covered for protection. It seemed a good installation and once completed Graeme conducted the necessary training for future operation. We were delighted with the day and the outcome. A very professional job indeed. I would not hesitate to recommend Graeme and his company to undertake work on similar installations and if any of our friends need this type of work done we will certainly promote Graeme and pass on his details.

Graeme and his colleague were friendly and helpful, accommodating to the fact that we had an extension which was more difficult to get into to insulate than the main roofspace. Sensibly they did this first, before the rest of the roofspace. They worked very hard and the work was very well done, and to budget. We would recommend them one hundred percent.

Really impressed with the work and service Graeme did on our Attic. It has made it really useful and clean space to use now. Before work started there were clear emails detailing a breakdown of the work and price. He called before hand to confirm appointment times and arrived on time. We have small children in the house and I appreciated how tidy they were with materials and rubbish clean up.

Graeme arrived on time and covered the floor to protect it. Very tidy worker. Blocked up old loft hatch with the plasterboard from the area of the new loft hatch. Fitted new loft hatch and installed loft ladder and cleaned up. Then explained safety aspects of the ladder. A couple of days later I found the ladder a bit steep. Access4Lofts reinsulated my loft, boarded part of the loft area and replaced the loft hatch. They protected my brand new carpet very thoroughly during the work and left everything clean and tidy. They made sure I was happy with all the work, and when I spotted something the next day, that I had not noticed before, they were very quick to respond to my email message, and came out within 2 days to sort it out. All very friendly and polite at all times. So I'm very happy to recommend this company.

He arrived when he said he would, explained everything and gave me an accurate estimate for the work needed without any pressure. Required access expanded, new loft hatch, some flooring and shelving. Contacted Graeme and arranged time and date for initial inspection visit. He arrived on time and spent 45 minutes thoroughly examining the loft in relation to the work I wanted done. He told me what could be done and what was not possible. There is a large cold water tank in my loft and numerous roof beams which limited the renovations that could be carried out - Graeme explained these limitations in full and also advised on the best ladders and new hatch as per my demands. He gave a quote and date for the work. He also emailed a detailed quote to me. The price was extremely reasonable so I agreed that work should proceed. Graeme and his colleague arrived by 8 am on the date agreed. They laid covers all over their workspace and work was completed by lunchtime. The quality of the work is excellent. They took all refuse away with them and left my hall in spotless condition. Graeme explained how to open and close hatch and how to use the new ladders safely. He also asked me to inspect the new flooring and shelving. The work was faultless! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I hired Access4Lofts to floor my loft, install access loft ladders and internal LED lighting in my loft. I have to say their workmanship was impeccable. From the offset they appeared with appropriate PPE, lay flooring and dust sheets to protect my carpets. They left my house and the loft immaculate. On completion Graeme fully explained how to use the ladders to access my loft and equipment he used to raise the boards to floor the loft etc. Really lovely guys. My front door had a little creak and he even oiled this. Lol! I would absolutely have no problem recommending this company to anyone.

I had main part of my loft floored a hatch and ladder fitted. I was desperate for additional storage space as both my partner and I are working from home. Graeme was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He helped with ideas with what I actually required. He kept to the original quote in both pirce and time to complete the work. Was super careful with covid procedures. The completed work was amazing all done to a very high standard. We asked Graeme to install a ladder in our unconventional loft space, which required a concertina ladder to be installed. Graeme went out of his way to source a ladder, then did a first class job at installing it in no time at all. And he also cleaned up completely after himself, leaving the space spotless! We had no problems with Graeme’s work from start to finish. Our work was scheduled originally for April but had to be cancelled due to lockdown. At all times Graeme kept us fully informed and telephoned us when he was back working to reschedule our work. Mr Graeme Hardie of Access4Lofts surveyed our loft for flooring, discussed our requirements and explained what was needed. He subsequently emailed the detailed quote for the service and he also stated that if we had any questions not to hesitate to call him anytime. He emailed again on 8th June advising us that he was back working again and had an opening on 24th June 2020 to carry out the work if suitable. We agreed on that date and he carried out the work completely satisfactorily and well within the Covid-19 guidelines. He kept us well up to date with all situations. He was very polite and pleasant and we are satisfied with the work carried out.

Graeme done a fantastic job flooring out my loft space. Initially was looking into getting the job done in March and Graeme had come up as one of the least expensive with one of the best reputations I could find around. Unfortunately the virus hit and quarantine came around about that time but Graeme had kept in touch and guaranteed the same price and to re-arrange the work once he was free to do so. Couldn't have asked for any better considering the situation. Once he was able to do it he got stuck in and done the work even faster than he said he would and this was also considering my dodgy loft configuration. Kept the place tidy and cleaned up after, you'd never know he was there if it wasn't for the nice new flooring in the loft. Overall fantastic work, definitely recommended.

Graeme came to my house, at my request, offered me a selection of options and gave me a quote for installing the loft-access ladder I selected and adjusting the hatch to suit. I was happy with his quote and so the job was arranged for a date which suited my arrangements. Graeme sent a mobile text on the previous day, saying he would be at my house by 09:00am on the agreed date and was there promptly as promised. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard and Graeme was friendly at all times. In addition, dust sheet were put down from my front door, all the way up to the loft access, to protect my carpets. Upon completion of the job, Graeme gave me a full demonstration of how to open the hatch and lower the ladder, making sure I could do it myself. Everything was tidied away before he left so we had no mess whatsoever. In addition, he told me that the installation comes with a lifetime guarantee. Graeme gave a great quote for a new loft access to be created with a custom fit hand made access hatch with retracting ladder. He and his assistant also cleared out a lot of rubbish from the area and replaced deteriorated boards and finished the eves with a covering giving it a professional, tidy finish. After getting a loft hatch and ladder installed in Dec 19, I booked Graeme/Access4Lofts to fit some loft flooring in my loft, as I was so happy with the work done previously. As before, dealing with Graeme was a breeze, easy to talk to and upfront re costs (which were great) and the work required and timings etc. Graeme turned up bang on time and the flooring was fitted, quickly but to a great standard. Graeme kept me right up to speed with what he was doing and explained need for slight adjustment on the ladder and only did this after my agreement and to the angle I required. Got a loft ladder and new extended loft hatch fitted 2/12/19. The quality of the finish is excellent. Dealing with Graeme has been hassle free from start to finish. Graeme responded promptly right from the start, when others couldn't even be bothered to reply to me. He gave us advice about our loft latch (as we were decorating at the time) and, again, was really quick to give us a quote and then set a date for the work to start. He wasn't the cheapest but I truly believe his work was worth it - I never thought I'd say this about a loft hatch(!) but it really looked amazing. And most of all, the hatch was safe, draught proof and easy to access (unlike our old hatch). He was quick and tidy, and even gave the hatch door and frame two coats of white paint beforehand. I'd asked for a moulded frame too and his workmanship was impressive. He even realigned our ladder (even though he wasn't supplying us with a new ladder) to give us more room, at no extra cost. I would really recommend Graeme if you're looking for a trustworthy, quick and high quality service.

Mr Hardie arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. Efficient, considerate of surroundings with no damage or mess and very neat finish. Working of ladder explanied and detailed paperwork produced. Would definately reccommend. I only needed basic ladder to suit short term needs, but would have considered the other options available if staying in the house for a few more years and maybe being less able bodied.

I contacted Access4Lofts through a friend who had already had his loft floored and loft ladder installed. Graeme contacted me and arranged a date to come out and give me a quote for flooring my loft and installing a loft ladder. I must say that we've been very happy all the way through from quote to completion. Graeme was in touch to confirm price and installation date shortly after the quote. He turned up on time carried out the work, showed me how the loft ladder worked. Hoovered up and left the house just as he found it. Installation day and Graeme arrived at the allotted time despite a distance to travel and traffic (the night before text reminder and times is a good, helpful and professional touch) Ladders and modifications were done very well and work was done non stop over 4 hr period. There was no mess left as all was hoovered and cleaned. A clear demonstration of operation of folding ladder and safety locks etc was done. Just recently had my loft floored by Graeme and he's done an amazing job! Price very reasonable which was detailed when he carried out the initial survey. I have a new build home and the latch is in an awkward place and very figity to open. Graeme swapped out the latch for a new easy open latch, new loft ladder installed and floored the loft space. The loft legs were installed also so it won't affect my insulation and the 10 year warranty on my new build home. Graeme was very nice and very clean and tidy. Graeme did an excellent job of installing 18m2 of raised floor loft with a light and ladder in our new build property.
