Access4Lofts Guildford

On contact via the website, a survey was booked, during which our expectations were set as to what would be done, what I'd be getting and how much I'd pay for those. There were few options to choose from, the bulk of the talking being about the experience on workday, and certainly no hard-sell. A quotation was subsequently received by email with an invitation attached to get in contact and book the work. Immediately prior to the booked date, reminders were sent to confirm that all was well which, in the current circumstances, was very well received. We all have to be cautious but people need to make a living too. Operative Johan arrived on the dot of nine o'clock, was thoroughly courteous and friendly, donned and removed overshoes on entering or leaving the premises, laid dust sheets from the front door, up the stairs and to the work area, completed the work inside the quoted period, did all of the dirty work outside and cleaned up behind himself most diligently before demonstrating the work to ensure we knew how to operate the installation safely. Could I have done the work myself? Absolutely. Could I have done it cheaper? Almost certainly. Would I have done it as well, as quickly once I'd started or indeed started it any time soon? Probably not! I am a satisfied customer! When expectations are managed this well, and then delivered to so exactly, there cannot be any cause for complaint, but then they guarantee their work anyway.

I contacted the Access4Lofts team at Guildford to quote for boarding a large section of loft and increasing hatch size / new ladder. The communication from start to finish has been brilliant. Both the person quoting and the workman that installed were always on time, friendly and efficient. Whilst work was being done there was minimal mess or disruption and the house left very clean. We are pleased with the final result, very happy with the team at Access4Lofts and would have no hesitation in recommending to others for similar work.

Recommended. We had a number of quotes and this one was well below the others. The two guys arrived on time and finished on time, were friendly and kept at it. They also kept the rest of the house tidy, put down dustsheets and took off their outdoor shoes. The loft flooring, ladder and new hatch is just what we were expecting and was very neatly done. There's some making good to be done where they removed the old hatch - this was as explained to us at the original visit and the area needed decorating anyway. We now have a usable storage space for all the stuff we brought with us from our previous (larger) house.

Arrived at scheduled time and day. Neat and tidy with dust sheets covering on the stairs and landing. Very polite and easy to have dialogue with, all my questions were answered Shown how to use the ladder safely. Tidied up after the work was completed

Cannot praise Access4lofts highly enough. From initial contact on phone to survey by Brett and completion of work to highly professional standard. Fitters Johann and Mike worked non stop for two days in 35c heat to board/shelve loft increase hatch size and install ladders. Quality of work excellent and no mess left behind. I highly recommend this firm.

From day of estimation, everything was put in place efficiently. The fitter was earlier than expected and was very clean putting on socks over his shoes and putting down dustsheets on my landing. Work done to budget and estimate. Mechanism was explained and fitter watched while I did it myself. Was very pleased with result and as a 78 year old lady, I can now access my loft without having to ask someone to do it for me. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Arrived on time. Scope of work: Initial survey, discussion of necessary loft ladder orientation and best way to instal loft lighting reviewed in conversational style. Installation of loft lighting switch and requested location of loft ancillary power plugs (2 - off) discussed. Schedule of work was just over half a day. Work completed to a high standard. Site left clean and tidy. Ladder operation and stowing of same explained satisfactorily. A good experience and I have no hesitation in recommending this company as experienced and worthy practitioners.

We needed a loft ladder fitted and the hatch also had to be replaced. Both the man who came to measure up/quote and the one who did the work were courteous and helpful, and communication from the office was also very good. The work was done to a high standard. I should also mention that the other company I’d called to ask for a quote never got back to me despite chasing, in contrast to Access4Lofts who called back quickly.

The company entirely lived up to its description as a Which? Trusted Trader. The quote following a detailed survey and discussion was thorough, the timekeeping on the day was very good, and the courteous operatives did not pause until the job was done. A secondary job involving insulation of a small ground floor closed loft over part of the kitchen could not be carried out for structural reasons, which were fully explained and discussed.

From the first visit to check work required - to proving price and agreed date to arriving on time taking all precautions to avoid damage on site - to completing work as promised to an excellent standard, i have to say i was extremely satisfied with the whole job, i would definitely recommend this Access4lofts !
