Russell carried out the works and have to say the quality of work he did was really good. He was punctual, polite and courteous and left the working area tidy after he finished. He also extended the size of the loft hatch and installed a ladder which I’m very pleased with. Good value for money but more importantly the quality of work was of a high standard.

After we made the initial enquiry, the inspection of the loft and the subsequent quote was quick to follow. The loft insulation was installed just two days later. Great care was taken to ensure that the power shower electrics and the extraction fans for both bathrooms were not compromised in anyway. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

To install the loft ladder, it was necessary to resize the hatch. This has been done so well that it is impossible to tell that it was not the original. The ladder is strong and easy to lower and fix for safe use; it is also simple to stow away. The boarding as produced a good strong surface for storage of items such as suitcases, while the battery-operated light adds to the convenience and safety of the whole installation. The work was completed in just two hours and the site left clean and tidy. On the whole this was a highly efficient and professional operation and I have no hesitation in recommending Nick and his team should anyone be considering such an installation.

Nick and Ray arrived on time and set to work straight away. Explained the work that they would be doing. All areas were covered with dust sheets. They both worked tirelessly all day to get the job done in the time scale he had quoted. I am delighted with the work they did and would highly recommend them. We agreed a date and price carry out the work and Nick arrived early morning as planned. He completed an excellent quality job, liaising with me throughout the day to ensure that I was happy with my progress and that he was meeting my requirements. Nick was courteous/professional at every stage. He was prompt in calling back at the initial enquiry, and arrangements made for his visit. He was unable to fit the new hatch where we had hoped, but came up with new idea. (which was better placed). He cut a new hatch area, fitted a new hatch and telescopic ladder. The hatch is concealed well into the ceiling. Nick fully explained the working of the ladder and made sure that we were at ease using it, before leaving. He cleaned up after himself. We are very happy with the hatch as it's unobtrusive, and it is great to be able to get into the loft with ease. Good job and a great decision made.

An impeccable service. Nick assessed the job, and came up with several alternative options for locating the ladder. After assessing these he returned on time, cut and fitted a new hatch and cover, cleared the old flooring from the loft area, put in new flooring, shelves and lighting and installed the ladder. The work was finished on time and to the agreed budget. Throughout he paid close attention to tidiness and cleanliness; dust-sheets everywhere and frequent vacuuming. He was friendly, approachable and at pains to explain every stage of the work to us. We would recommend him without hesitation.

Nick Davey visited to quote for a new loft ladder . Really nice guy and extremely professional . Discussed options and explained everything very well . We were very pleased with the quote and a date was fixed after a few weeks . Installation was just superb . Took only a few hours and Nick went through the whole process of use very efficiently . Loft hatch, ladder and boarding We needed our loft hatch relocated, a telescopic ladder installed and the loft boarded, and Nick did a brilliant job! He was really quick to provide us with a quote and the work was scheduled for 2 weeks from the quote day. The work itself took Nick around 2 days to complete, with minimum noise disruptions. Nick took time to explain what he was doing, and answered any questions I had in much detail. Although our ceiling is made of lathe and plaster, Nick took all steps needed to ensure no damage was made to the ceiling and carried out the work to a very high standard. Once the work was completed, he ensured everything was thoroughly cleaned up. The work Nick carried out for us was to a really good standard, and we are really pleased with the result. In a short period of time, we gained such a significant amount of storage with easy access - would definitely recommend Nick to anyone looking at loft storage options!

The whole process, from Nick visiting to give me a quote to have the work done, was very quick. The work was carried out to a high standard, leaving me with no mess to clean up afterwards. Nick was very polite and helpful and was only too pleased to make sure I was satisfied with everything

I needed to have safer access to my loft and after contacting Access4 Lofts an appointment was made. After looking at my current situation Mr Davey advised moving the existing hatch into my spare bedroom. The different options were explained to me along with the various costs. My questions were answered but at no point did I feel any sales pressure. I was left to think about how and if I wanted to proceed. I decided to go ahead with the work and so arranged a date for the fitting. On the day of the work unfortunately my elderly father had a fall and I had to take him to A and E. I had to tell Mr Davey at very short notice I would not be able to proceed with the work that day. He was very understanding and later in the day he was able to re-schedule the work for the next day, fitting me in after another job. I was very grateful for this as I had already cleared the room ready to have the work done. Mr Davey turned up on time, checked everything with me and then got on with the work in a very tidy and efficient way. When he had finished I was shown exactly how to use the new ladder and he even put a pulley system on my existing light switch so I could access my light safely. Everything was left spotless . The new access is so easy to use, light and safe and I now feel much happier using my loft space. I don't know why I didn't do it ages ago!! Nick Davey quoted for boarding my loft, doubling the insulation and fitting a telescopic ladder in the existing hatch opening. Nick was happy to make some minor adjustments to the quotation which I then accepted. A date and time was agreed for the work to commence. Nick on all occasions arrived exactly on time, observed the Covid 19 restrictions and ensured that the carpets and walls were not damaged or marked. The work was carried out very quickly and to an exceptionally high standard. Nick took great pains to explain exactly what he had done and how to use the telescopic ladder. Unfortunately due to problems with access to part of the loft I agreed that he was unable to insulate the whole loft area and he had no hesitation in offering a refund for the work he was unable to carry out. Overall I am very pleased with the work.
