from contact to completion the service was professional and responsive. I asked for a quote and richard promptly arrived when he said he would and went straight to work assessing the job and within an hour or so of leaving we had a quote! All through the process I had updates to remind me etc. The key thing was that we only had a single option of which way to install but there would be ppies in the way so he said would build a simple box to lift above the pipes so no issue. Once we agreed the work Richard gave me a date and time and was on time - quick coffee and they cracked on. New dust covers which surprised me as usually old ones :-) laid all the way down stairs as he was conscious of the fact that between his quote and doing the job the house had new carpets and gloss everywhere! Just left them to crack on and a few hours later all done with a lifetime guarentee! Even better was the fact I could do a bank transfer so did not have to go get cash out! Cleaned up after themselves and TBH if I did not know they had been and a new shiny hatch in place I would not have known they had been!! Carpets that are a week old clean and all glossed paintowrk remained intact and based on the drilling and cutting that was impressive!! I now have a fully accessible attic space to store all the stuff from downsizing?!?!? TBH this is a job I would normally undertake but for the time its saved me to do other jobs its well worth it.

Richard and Martin arrived and provided an excellent service really professional and efficient. Laid dust sheets and hoovered up upon completion of work. Loft looks great and has really created lots of space for us. Would definitely recommend his business in the future

I am an old lady living alone and recently bought a brand new house I have met too many cheeky traders who think I can be taken advantages I have quoted 3 companies for loft boarding, the reasons I chose Access4Lofts: 1. first impression that they are kindness, as they explain what loft I have and what is the best way to do the boarding after the survey. The other two companies didn’t explain to me as so details. 2. After 3 surveys I got some questions to ask every now and then, I found Access4Lofts are honest and trustworthy compare the other 2. 3. I’ve checked the financial circumstance of 3 companies, I’m happy with Access4Lofts’ accounts. 4. The cost is reasonable and they work on Saturdays!!! That’s very important to me as a self employed.

I am really pleased with the work done. Access 4 lofts provides a very friendly service and are quick to respond to all queries. Very punctual service and the job was completed to a high standard and within only a few hours. The team came on time and explained everything. Also, did not push any extras.

They came as they said they would and started work immediately. The job was completed exactly as I requested and quoted for. On completion I was shown how the installation worked and to review their work done. When the job was finished they left the house in the same condition as they found it.

Phoned Richard at Access4Lofts and he came around the next day and measured up. As my house is 200 years old, the loft hatch needed extending. He sent me a quote the following day and we arranged a date for the work to be done. They came on the arranged date at 8.30 and didn’t stop until the work was done. An excellent job with the minimum of disturbance, and then they cleaned up before they left. Would highly recommend.

We needed to bring our loft insulation up to date. This involved removing the original loft flooring, moving our loft access hatch, installing a new ladder (previous access by separate telescopic ladder), upgrading the insulation, laying a new floating loft floor and fitting a membrane to line the roof tiles (to stop their shedding over the loft's contents). Richard assessed our situation at his first visit, listened, discussed our needs, suggested a solution and quoted for the job. The price was as stated on the website with no hidden extras. After accepting the quote we decided to expand the new loft floor area slightly. Richard was easy to communicate with by email. He brought extra flooring on the day and completed the extra work adjusting the cost on a pro rata basis, as previously agreed. Richard delivered on time and without fuss, cleaning up afterwards. We were very satisfied with his work ethic and ability. We got exactly what we paid for with courtesy and a smile thrown in for free! If this is the sort of job you are looking to have done, my wife and I have no hesitation in highly recommending Richard to you.
