Pete was totally professional from his survey through quotation to installation. He also showed me pictures of the insulation and flooring he had installed. He worked hard through a day and a half. Great job, would definitely recommend.

Old loft hatch cover needed replacing and Pete offered advice on how best to do the job, plus new insulation and beading fitted to prevent drafts. He also fitted some additional boarding in the loft. Work was completed on time, at a reasonable price and my home left clean and tidy. I always try to use a local trader and noticed “Access4Lofts” were sponsoring some activities during a summer festival in the village where I live. Peter did an amazing job for us . He was very prompt, tidy and considerate . He arrived and just got on with the job, very efficiently We also enquired about a new loft ladder as ours was old and too heavy to operate . Pete showed us the ladder that they install and was very good at explaining how it worked and that it was lightweight so easy for us to use . No over selling , just very professional and pleasant. The fitter arrived on time, covered every part of the work area with dust sheets. He worked without break or interruption and completely finished including a thorough cleaning of the work area before asking me to look and watch his demonstration of how to use the ladder and showed the safety features. His price was as quoted although he also painted the architrave that he had fitted around the hatch.

I’m very happy with the work that Pete has done, from beginning to end he has been professional. Punctual and respectful, he supplied the quote quickly, turned up exactly when he said he would, and replied to emails promptly. The house was left clean, and the bits he worked around in the loft were handled respectfully and stored carefully. There was minimal noise which I was amazed at - he just got on with the job and did it well, with no disruptions. Final invoice had a minor adjustment (slightly lower as he used less boards!), so very honest. Very grateful as it’s difficult to find trades like this!

Pete Coneely is a very good person to deal with, He answers initial contact calls promptly, carries out a detailed survey and sticks to his estimated times and costs. I have a 1964 bungalow which was extended in the 1980s and again in 2017 so a hotch-potch of different builders' ideas over many decades and an associated build-up of cobwebs, roofing dirt and dust, so not exactly an ideal working environment. When Pete arrived on time to do the work he was very courteous and took the time to make sure we were happy with the surveyed scope of work and made every effort to accommodate our comments and questions and offered the best solutions to any quirks of the property (and quirks of the customer). He works quickly and efficiently in a difficult environment and his finished work is comfortingly safe, secure and well finished. I now have a loft storage area which is easy to access (even with arthritic joints) and is a vast improvement over the random old doors etc that previously led to hot water tanks and "storage" areas in inconvenient places and is undoubtedly so much safer to use. We already had loft access stairs so Pete added a handy balustrade as well as the raised flooring and now for the first time my wife is confidently accessing the loft too. I can thoroughly recommend Pete for loft flooring and access and consider this as one of my best house improvements and money well spent. If you struggle to use your loft, this is exactly what you need.

Pete the installer called on time to fit the new loft ladder. He worked very efficiently and did not seem to every be in our way. The ladder was installed in less than half a day and we were shown a demonstration of how to use the equipment safely. On ;having the site Pete left everything very clean and tidy. We have used the ladder on 3 occasions since the installation. It is now so easy to access our loft and we can start to organise the loft easily. Thanks for a great job, well done.

From initial contact through his first site visit to installation, we were delighted with the excellent standard achieved by Pete. Having contractors in one's house can be a stressful experience but he was prompt, reliable, highly professional, worked with a tidy site and clearly took great pride in the quality of his work.
