I contacted Access4Ladders for a quote to install a loft ladder rather than stand on an old step ladder to gain access to our loft. The quote accepted, the date and time booked for installation confirmed. The young man arrived looked at our loft hatch and gave me a couple of options, choosing the one best for me he continued to do his magic without to much noise or dust. Duly installed in about 2 hours he then went through the procedure of how to get the ladder down and make sure it was secure and how to return it to its platform. I asked and they delivered, I now have a loft ladder to access my loft rather than the trusty old step ladder. Would recommend them.

The door and ladder work beautifully and I now have access to a very useful loft space in the roof of my garage, Mark explained exactly what he was doing at every stage and fully demonstrated how things work. We were concerned that the work would not provide us with much additional space but Tom explained what he could do given the configuration of our available space. We proceeded on that basis and the work has given us more usable roof space than we thought possible and the ladder seems relatively easy to use. Tom carried out all the work to a high standard with a minimum of disruption. We're really pleased with the work.

Likeable, good humoured lads came to install a new loft hatch, loft ladder and extended flooring which has increased the area in which I can store things. A clothes rail added too. This was a nice touch. All good and I would recommend. Thanks again!

The lads turned up on time, and got straight to work. They protected my carpet by laying dust sheets and started straight away. They worked extremely hard to ensure no mess but cleaned up as they went along. We had to have a new hatch as ours was really small they enlarged the area to fit a new hatch and ladder. Again no mess we just need to touch up with a bit of paint but this is totally understandable, all in all I’m so grateful that after living here for 33 years we finally have a loft suitable for storage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of doing the same.

Very impressed with my experience with Access4Lofts. The visit to assess my needs was professional and the resulting quote I believe fair. Michael who completed the installation was superb. He literally never stopped from arrival to completion and tidied up before he left. I now have safe and easy access to my loft, with a well fitted amount of flooring in the loft that has enabled me to have a large area to neatly file/store items/files that needed an out of sight home.

Great communication from original enquiry to finished job. Michael rang as he was on his way to tell me he was going to be a little late, and when he did arrive he got straight to work and didn't stop until the job was completed. He tidied up as he went along and did a fantastic job. He enlarged the loft hatch, fitted a new drop down hatch and telescopic ladder. He also boarded out the loft space and fitted shelving. I am very happy with the result and thoroughly recommend Access 4 lofts for all your loft needs.

I went to Access4Lofts because of the excellent reviews given by customers. I was looking to have a pull down ladder and loft flooring installed. The initial survey visit by Matt was very professional and he outlined everything that would be done. This was followed up with a full quote by email within two hours together with the date of installation. On the day Martin and Mark were extremely professional with a friendly “Can do” attitude. They fitted our new loft ladder and installed a superb floating floor in our loft in under a day. Their work was very tidy and clean . I was very impressed with Access4Lofts and picking them to transform our loft was a great choice. A seamless experience from start to finish. Had my bungalow loft insulation upgraded as it was quite patchy. Also had loft entrance enlarged & ladder replaced as existing one was very flimsy. The work was done on time, polite workman, tidied up as he went. Bungalow much warmer now & energy bill much cheaper. Quote was very reasonable and honoured. Very happy with the work and the company. Very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. The team turned up on time and went to work straight away. They hardly stopped all day. The loft space is totally insulated and the raised flooring is solid and looks great. The new loft hatch and ladder are such an improvement, so much better than the old cheap loft ladder, I can now get into the loft without worrying that the ladder is going to fail. And having a well-made, fitted and insulated, hatch makes a huge difference to both the look and the ease of access. I now have a loft space that the boiler & aircon service engineers can confidently get into and work in, and I can use to store those occasionally used (forgot I had) things without crushing the insulation. I would definitely recommend Access4Lofts to anyone thinking of getting this kind of work done.

Friendly and helpful service from start to end especially when I had to reschedule. Very pleased with the work, an excellent solution was found to stop the loft hatch catching on the adjacent door frame. Work was carried out quickly and efficiently and I was super impressed with how clean and tidy everywhere was left.

After the initial contact, I was impressed with all stages of the process: The understanding of our needs/requirements was excellent and the quotation was swiftly undertaken. The date for installation of new loft access, boarding and supplementary insulation was agreed and adhered to. The standard of work was high and the attitude of the personnel was exemplary. Overall this was a good value piece of work.

I'd had a few quotations from local businesses but had a niggle in the back of my head over their security as a business and would they be here for the long term. Warranties are no good if a company goes out of business. I arranged to have Access4Lofts to come around and survey my loft. They did a very thorough job and within a few weeks I was seeing the quality of their work first hand. The two guys who came to my house were highly professional, friendly and got straight on with the job. They care for my property laying down dustsheets from the front door up to their working area. It does help if you clear out the loft first and give them a good amount of working room else it is a lot of work for them to do and although they can do it, I prefer to let them get on with their work. I wanted to increase the insulation in my loft and so had them add 200mm of new insulation over the old (why remove it, it is doing a job) and add stand off boarding for approx 16sqmm of the 60sqmm loft space. They were fantastic and I can only recommend them to anyone who needs loft work done. NO corners cut, good quality of work, through knowledge of their skill base and totally professional from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and the work done quickly and with the utmost efficiency. A definite recommendation from me.

My wife and I decided we wanted to part board our loft and add a loft ladder. Paul from Access4 lofts came and looked at the work required and suggested a couple of add one, like refreshing our loft insulation, some lights and shelving in addition to the boarding and ladder. He said he would provide a full breakdown of the costs and we were free to choose the bits we wanted doing. There was no pressure selling and he was very professional. He duly supplied an estimate with a price for each part of the work he could provide. As my wife and I had discussed a budget priory to the quote arriving, we were pleasantly surprised that we could have everything we had planned and more so we promptly rang Paul and agreed a date for the work to be done. On 19th May, as agreed the workman arrived, covered all our furnishings and promptly set to work. 8 hours later everything we had asked for was in place and it is amazing. Afterwards we both said we wished we had done this sooner as our loft is now accessible and usable. Would thoroughly recommend this company. Well done and thank you.

After an initial blip awaiting the quote, I am pleased to say that I’m happy with the work Paul and Jamal carried out in my loft. This involved removing the boards, adding to the existing insulation, then replacing the boards. As my house is a chalet or dormer bungalow, it’s quite awkward to move in the loft because there’s no room to stand; crawling and crouching only. Paul found items that ought not to have been left under the boards by a previous tradesperson, and duly removed them! Also, Paul very helpfully fixed something else in the loft, and Jamal equally helpfully suggested and installed an additional light in the part of the loft where I have previously needed a lantern. The price paid was slightly less than the quote, because fewer materials were required than originally anticipated. They were punctual, friendly, professional and efficient, and I have already arranged for them to do some work on my loft hatch in the near future.

We had a telescopic ladder installed along with fitting out our loft with boarding to make the wasted space useful for storage. Access4Lofts came and quoted us swiftly, and I have to say that the price was pleasantly competitive. They arrived on the day and were very courteous and respectful of our property and the fact we were working from home. The work was all completed very efficiently and well. The team of 2 arrived on time on the day it was booked for and set about preparing the area and putting cloths down to protect our floors etc. They worked very hard all day and completed it the same day, which was quicker than I had expected. They left the site very clean and tidy. I am very impressed with the work, it has given us a very usable loft space now for storage and more. From the first visit to assess the site to the fitting of it everything went to schedule. The workmanship was of a very high standard and carpets etc were covered over to protect them. Once fitted we were given a run through of how the ladder operated. I have used the ladder several times since it has been fitted and there are no problems whatsoever. Very pleased with the product and the kind and considerate way that Rob the fitter carried out his work.

We suddenly have a massive new room in the house that we never knew existed! My sons love it and are planning a darts room in the loft. Access4lofts turned up on time and actually finished ahead of schedule. A really good job with good quality. It was on budget (although they guarantee that they will pick up any costs over the agreed estimate anyway). Only slight disappointment was that they couldn't sort out the lighting for me as apparently they don't have the right electrical authorisations. They did tell me how to do it myself and which parts to buy though. Very highly recommended.

The work done on my loft included moving the hatch and boarding out the loft and adding extra storage among the cross members. This was done to a very high standard. They also took the time to walk me through how the loft hatch and ladder operated. They were very clean, laid dust sheets and cleaned up all mess before they left. Great job. Workman Dale was very courteous, professional and extremely tidy. Our loft hatch was lengthened, ladder installed, some re-insulating undertaken, and boarding of central loft area. Dale was keen to explain each step of the process, set out clear time scales (and kept to them), and did a thoroughly professional job, ensuring that both the wife and I had an opportunity to review the completed job. He explained the mechanisms for using the ladder, and let us each set it up in turn, ensuring we understood the safety features. At the end of the job, our house was left as if no work had been undertaken, all areas were cleaned to a good standard. Extremely pleased with the finished product.

From start to finish I have found Paul and Hannah professional, transparent and diligent. I had a tricky and high loft that Paul managed to fit a ladder, board and supply light. Communication was wonderful and Covid safe guidelines sent prior to arrival. Would thoroughly recommend it.

From the outset, we had a good feeling about the company, and the job was started and completed exactly on schedule. The preparation of the area was very good, with Dale providing more than adequate dust sheets (and vacuum cleaner), and there was very little mess or disturbance during the job. Clear up afterwards was excellent too. The finished job was of a very high standard, so much so that we have contracted them to carry out further work to reinsulate and floor our loft. My loft ladder had fallen off its hinges. I rang Paul on Tuesday lunch time and he offered to come round Wednesday at 6.00pm to put on new hinges and some board to secure it. Quite simply, a fantastic job that I couldn't do and the service to back it up. He even did this free of charge.
