Glen has just enlarged and replaced my loft hatch and fitted a telescopic loft ladder. Glen was respectful, polite, honest and put me at ease from the first survey. On the day of the work taking place he arrived at the time stated and was very professional. I am so happy with the outcome, with how clean he left the area and with how thorough he was at demonstrating the new hatch and ladders. He made sure I wasn't left with any unanswered questions. We recently had the pleasure of having Glen fit our new insulated loft hatch and telescopic loft ladder. He arrived on time and was very professional and tidy. He took his time and didn't rush the job like some do, even staying on after fitting to demonstrate how to use and answer any questions we may have. From the very start when providing us with the free quote, he explained the costs and amount of work required, and on completion there were no hidden extra costs. Our old loft ladder was not suitablle for an elderly person to safely use and we wanted a replacement. Glen visited and advised us on the type of loft ladder a suitable fit for our loft, keeping in mind that a roof joist above the loft opening limited the type of ladder that could be installed. We wanted a ladder that is easy to lower and put back in place, with a reasonable width and not heavy for an elderly person to use. Glen advised us on a suitable ladder. The existing loft opening had to be made larger which Glen did competently and fitted wood trim in the ceiling around the opening to leave it looking good. Glen put in almost a full day's work and we are pleased with the outcome

Glen provided a first class service from initial survey and quote to completion of works. My original loft hatch was placed in a very awkward position hanging over the banister and stairs. Glen explained my options thoroughly and came up with the best solution. I had my loft hatch enlarged and telescopic ladders fitted. I also had an area in the loft boarded out. It can be a minefield these days trying to find a reliable tradesperson, but Glen was brilliant. The work has been completed to a perfect standard, exactly as agreed upon and all on time. All my questions/ requests for quote adjustments were responded to very promptly, and all emails & details were clear. Glen was professional throughout - from first survey to hoovering up at the end of the job, and was always polite and respectful of our home. There was no pushy sales tactics, just years of experience and advice on what could be suitable for our needs. He took extra care when moving around the house, checking where our (occasionally adventurous) Labrador was before opening or closing doors, which was greatly appreciated. Glen was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish he was punctual, polite and happy. When quoting he explained everything clearly without being condescending or pushy and was very prompt in responding to all messages. He arrived on time and stuck to the scheduled 1.5 day install. We left him with a key and he even messaged when he left assuring everything was locked. He explained the easiest way to get up and down on the ladder and even showed us. The work carried out was to add loft boarding for additional storage space. Prior to the work starting Glen gave us a full run through of all available options which really helped us decide what we actually required. Glen arrived promptly each morning and worked tirelessly despite the very warm weather. Glen made our loft hatch bigger, installed a wooden ladder and boarded out half our loft. He gave us by far the best quote we received and also was such a great guy. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using him again for the other half of our loft. The work he carried out is top quality.

Very happy with the work done by Glen. From getting the quote in the first instance, he was polite and informative throughout. He answered all my questions and completed the work on time an on budget. The loft was previously part-boarded and, having discussed the options with Glen, we had it raised, fully boarded and shelves installed. We have increased the amount of storage space by four times, at least! Throughout the job, Glen was considerate and helpful. Would happily recommend him and his workmanship to friends and family. There were no hidden surprises with the cost either. The job was quoted for and that was the price we paid. The work was completed in 2.5 days - which was exactly as promised.

Glen visited to carry out the survey for our Loft ladder and new hatch, I couldn't be at home, but my wife met Glen and was very pleased with how professional, friendly and polite he was. 2 weeks after agreeing the quote Glen arrived today at exactly the time that was agreed and carried out the install. Work was carried out without a hitch and for the price agreed even though there were some level discrepancies.
