From the initial phone call to the completion of the work, the standards have been exemplary. Andy came back to me within minutes of my sending off a contact form on the website and quoted within a couple of hours. I enquired about addition work to the quote and he came out to ensure an accurate scope of work and quoted for that just as swiftly. I have had a Powerwall 3 expansion pack installed and the wiring from the solar inverter moved to the Powerwall 3 as well as the upgrade to the AC side of it to enable 10kw output. Other installers were reluctant to quote on this and when they did the costs were absurd. ACD Green-tech were honest and open and quoted the work as it was with no silly extras and overpriced nonsense because it's "solar". The work was done professionally, very neat and tidy and tested. Any further electrical work will now go to ACD and the big solar companies can stick to their overpriced quoting system and someone else can accept them!

We were new to solar when we moved into a house that had an existing solar system. Andy gave us a clear explanation of our options for adding battery storage to the current solar system. Andy answered all our many questions. ACD dealt with the application and provided a fast efficient installation at a good price.

We recently had ACD Electrical Green-Tech Ltd install a complete solar and battery system for us, including 17 solar panels, a Sigenergy Sigen Battery and controller, EV charger and gateway. Just had a Fox ESS Inverter, batteries and additional batteries installed. Drom the initial discussion and site visit, Andy was both knowledgeable and professional, who was able to guide me through the replacement of my old inverter and battery system. Immediately on paying my deposit the office sent off the G99 DNO application for approval. Shortly after I had a date for installation. The installation itself was trouble free and only took a day rather than the 2 days allowed for. Commissioning was easy with a clear explanation of the app and an assurance of the back up I would receive. Would highly recommend them.

Supply and fit of : Solar panels, Batteries x 2, Isolator, EV Charger. Then at a later stage we also purchased an Eddie Energy Diverter (supply & fit) After Sales Advice and Support throughout. Andy, Admin and the Team on the ground are all fabulous to work with. Helpful, polite, friendly, easy to talk to, arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job on time and within the agreed budget. Provided me with all the required data to make informed decisions and took lots of time to help me understand everything before I committed to the product type and work to be done. I asked lot of questions many of which I'm sure were very basic. Andy was totally amazingly patient, going over things as many times as I needed. This has continued with the after sales care - always there for me and never makes me feel my questions are silly. There have been a couple of unavoidable system hiccups which were resolved very quickly. We have also tweaked a couple of things with Andy's help which has given us the personalised system we need for our family circumstances. The products have all worked really well, we are so pleased we went down this route. All told we have received a high quality of service giving us outstanding value for money. I only used this particular trader ACD Electrical Green-Tech Ltd. after reading an article in the monthly Which? magazine. Andrew who I originally spoke to after submitting my interest was both knowledgeable and professional. I received my quote and job breakdown from them in a timely manner with different options for my choice of battery and work to be carried out on my existing solar array. I was given a date for scaffolding to be erected and the work to commence, everything was done to a high standard and things were explained to me as the job progressed. There was only one slight hiccup! The first lot of bird protection for the Solar wasn’t working effectively, But as soon as I had spoken to Andrew he had got his lads back around with another solution which has worked perfectly. I am extremely pleased with the way everything went and will be getting them back in the near future to carry out more work upgrading my system. If I was rating this work helpfulness of the guys and company they would definitely get a 5* rating from me.

Wanted an EV charger installed as next car is a plug in hybrid. Knew nothing about them but Andy was great at explaining what was required. Got quote through very quickly. As soon as I had accepted, Andy got in touch to arrange date for installation that suited us. It was all done in a day and we are very pleased with the install.

ACD Electrical came recommended from a work colleague who had previously used this local company. On completion of our installation, I am extremely happy that we chose ACD Electrical to install our new solar panel Inverter and battery storage system. From first contact to system installation the whole team have been fantastic to deal with and provided excellent communication. They took care of everything from understanding my requirements, delivering multiple system quotes, arranged scaffolding and provided a courteous and professional installation by Andy, Andrew and Issac. On completion Andy completed a full system test and commissioning and then provided a thorough explanation on the installed system and how to monitor the system using the Fox ESS phone application. Andy was very good at explaining the various options available to us and when we decided what we wanted came and fitted it within a few weeks. I had 16 PV panels installed in 2011 and have benefitted from the FIT system since then, but always wanted a home battery to also store energy to run the house. I engaged ACD Electrical Green-Tech Limited because it is a Saltash business with good reviews. I always try to support local businesses. I was not disappointed. The advice Andrew gave me was sound and steered me in the right direction and away from systems where the software updates and customer care are poor with regard to the manufacturers. I settled on the SigEnergy home battery system because it automatically switches from grid to battery during a power cut and has an AI function that manages consumption and charging. The installation was completed in one working day. At the end of the installation all worked perfectly except the gateway didn't detect the input from the solar PV although it was filling the battery. Within a week Andrew had sent round engineers to remedy a small wiring fault and once he was satisfied all was working properly did I receive the handover documentation. The service was friendly and extremely professional. Since installation we haven't yet drawn from the grid. I will definitely be using ACD for phase two of my project - 20 more solar PV panels. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

I was looking for a powerwall expansion pack and got some quotes - including from ACD Green Tech. Their quote was very competitive and was done very quickly. I said that I needed to make the purchase before the end of March to get the Tesla rebate and they were happy to do that for me. Andrew arrived on the agreed date and time and carried out the installation without fuss - even though it was to a system he hadn't installed. He gave it a quick checkover to make sure he was happy with it and the job was completed successfully. The work was done with minimal interruption to the house and he left a clean and tidy installation for us. I was impressed with ACD's communications. Both from Andrew and the office team. Every eMail was answered quickly and with clear answers. Although the job was probably small in comparison to other work they do, I was very impressed with the company's approach to customer service and the quality of the work that was done. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and the team and will certainly contact them in the future if I need any more work doing.

I changed my Internet provider (things you wish you'd never done). It mucked up all the settings on the recently installed EV Charger and associated software. Andy Green sorted the problem on a Friday evening, turning up after normal hours and got everything sorted efficiently and quickly. Amazing service. It's the immediate after-sales care that was impressive for something that was not really their problem to sort. While he was here he also sorted out an issue with the cabling. All done and I am mightily relieved.

The company that originally installed my solar panels would appear to have gone away on an extended holiday, as I've been unsuccessful in making remedial contact with them. My system, including the associated app, went offline and initially I was unable to make any progress in finding a solution. Because I couldn't allow things to motor on indefinitely as they were, I started to look for a local business that could resolve my issues. I reached out to ADC Electrical Green-Tech and I can now report that it was the best thing I could have done. Initial phone contact with them was through a very nice and helpful lady in the form of Maureen, who listened to my woes and arranged for their Operations Manager, Andy Green, to get back to me as soon as possible. This he did and arranged to visit the following day. Believing he would simply discuss the matter in hand before committing to anything else, I was lost for words when he returned from his van, tools in hand and spent the next couple of hours in getting my entire system back on track. He found that an associated unit had suffered quite a major short circuit, that could have been a fire hazard, before returning the main system to the frontline. In addition, he made contact with the solar units manufacturer and after some toing and froing, solved the missing app. All the people I've had dealings with have proven that the award of 5 stars for Customer Service, Quality of Work and Value for Money is well deserved.

We had been think of having a solar system fitted for a while with ever increasing electric prices we decided to go ahead with have them fitted.That was the easy bit trying to find somebody to fit them trust worthy was a different matter we had several quotes all with differing options none we felt comfortable with then we came across an ACD coffee morning to come and have a chat about everything solar and meet some of there customers which we did really enjoyed it no hard sell we were so impressed we booked Andrew to Come and give us a quote and the rest is history but trouble and hassle free history.Andrew and his team did a fantastic job they were very polite and incredibly tidy and everything happened within the time frame we were told even though the weather was very wet.We had all the paperwork we needed really quick after the install and would recommend them in a heart beat can’t speak highly enough of them thank you all

We decided to get a solar system installed, as our eclectic consumption is high. we had a look around and asked for a quote from ACD Electrical Green-tech limited, Andrew came round and did a quote for us, not just one but various quotes on different systems as I had not quite decided on the final setup. After a lot of questions from myself and advice from Andrew, we decided on the system that best suited our needs, when we went ahead Andrew and his team did all the paperwork, then came and did the install, then on completion talked me through the operation of the system, though he is always there if I need any help or advice as I get used to the system and setup. The job was done and completed in the time advised and to a fantastic standard and I would recommend this company to anyone considering a solar system.
