We Used ACD for the second time; the first, to install a Givenergy 13.5KWH 'All In One' home storage battery, with Gateway, to compliment our existing 8KW PV array. After the recent purchase of a plug in Skoda hybrid car, we asked Andy to quote for a compatible Givenergy EV charger. His price was keen, lower than other installers and service was prompt. A good neat EV charger installation, and the new Givenergy charger works perfectly with the App, to monitor existing PV production and to set cheap overnight rate charge times for both the EV and home storage battery. I highly recommend ACD for your electrical work and your possible move into renewable energy, home storage and EV's.

Andrew was brilliant. I contacted them for a warranty repair though they didn't install originally. It turned out to be a nightmare job requiring several visits because the equipment supplier was very difficult to deal with. But Andrew persisted and got the replacement parts and then configured it to get it all working again. Considering how many visits he made and how much time he ended up spending, I think his invoice was very reasonable.

We’ve had a first-class service from ACD Electrical Green-Tech. Nothing was too difficult for Andrew Green. The quotes were excellent for both jobs we needed done. He relocated a solar isolator for us on a wall outside the house, removing the old one from the electric meter box and rewiring and fitting a new one in a new separate box. All installed without any fuss and working perfectly with our solar panels and electric meter. He also ordered and fitted a new solar battery for us today and spent a long time to ensure it was connected and working faultlessly with our inverter and the App before he left. He had to make several journeys to us during the afternoon because of extra unexpected parts needed. He didn’t leave until the work was completed to his high standards. He also took time to fully explain all about the battery system and how to use the App. The quotation he had originally stated was exactly the same he charged us today, even though he was with us for much longer than he had expected to be. An extremely professional service from a very experienced electrical solar engineer who clearly knows his trade very well! We’ve already lined him up for more work at our house.

After quite a lot of research and having contacted ACD back in 2023, I gave them a call for a revised quote. I was pleasantly surprised when the quote came back for the Solar installation. Andy from ACD showed the utmost professionalism from start to finish. I had been struggling to find the right advice concerning my solar system and how to face up to the cost of living crisis - in the minefield of fly-by-night solar companies and partially qualified electricians. He arrived at my property the day after my initial call and took time to diagnose and suggest solutions while fully explaining them to me. Even once the work of installing the new battery was finished - he took the time to check it was working correctly, even reaching out to me on a Sunday morning as the internet to the battery had been cut off.
