Ace Solar Energy were recommended to me by a friend. From first contact they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They offered the same equipment as Octopus but at a much more competitive price and shorter delivery time. The installation team were very flexible to my needs, and very helpful. They arrived on time, and worked tidily. There was a software problem with the inverter, and they helped to resolve it with the manufacturer very quickly. Lucy was especially helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.

I made initial contact with Ace solar around Feb 23 but deliberately delayed a review so i could also say how my system has performed. When i first contacted Ace solar i spoke with Lucy and Tracey who were super efficient and were happy to deal with all my queries, Once a design/spec had been agreed i was given an approx install date around end of may 23. After previously speaking with other companies who were quoting me over 6 months for installation i thought 10-12 weeks at the time was very reasonable. (At the time electricity prices were going up and solar panels were in high demand) The whole system was fitted over nearly 2 days as agreed at time of order due to the amount of panels installed over 3 different roofs. The installation was carried out to a high standard and the fitters worked in polite and professional manner, answering any questions i had. My property was left exactly as they found it and all waste materials were cleared from site. The system has been working great with no issues. I had transferred to one of octopus’s tariffs which enables me to charge my batteries at a low rate and use the power throughout the day and from june til august 23 we didnt pay for any electric. I cannot recommend this company enough. From 1st contact they were excellent throughout the whole experience and i really cannot find fault with any part of the service they have provided. I will definitely use Ace solar for any future projects.

1,500 characters simply aren't enough to give a comprehensive account of just how impressed I have been with my experience with Ace Solar Energy. Having been reached out to by Tracey on a solar page on social media, the more I looked into this company the more I was impressed by everything I had seen. I was then contacted by Lucy after putting in my initial interest form on their website, who has been putting up with my quite frankly relentless emails with a variety of questions and requests for the past month! Nevertheless, Lucy has been an absolute star, and very clearly knows the ins and outs of what makes for excellent customer service. This has been matched by a solid installation, by a team that could be nothing less than masters at what they do, as the proof is in the pudding, as shown in both the quality of their work and their obvious passion for their profession. Not only did Matt and his installation team smash out the job (12 panels split over two aspects, plus a GivEnergy 5kW inverter and 5.2kWh battery) in just a day, but they enthusiastically answered my questions all day long whilst getting on with it. Even when it meant putting in a bit of overtime, the fellas refused to leave until the job was done. They even cleared out my guttering and put on some silicone in places where I was certain some water had been getting in since we bought our house a year ago (at no additional charge too)! I'll make the choice easy for you, choose Ace Solar Energy!!

I am extremely happy with both the system and the whole sales / installation wirk carried out by Ace solar. The pre-sales work was great from a competitive quotation, selection of equipment and detailed payback estimates. I particularly liked the fact that there was no pushy selling - the pace was dicated by us. I visited Ace's offices and the system was explained and demonstrated - they have an inverter / battery installation installed that can be viewed. The installation was faultless. Everything happened on the planned dates and the team were professional and worked hard. All of the work is neat and there has been a degree of future proofing / redundancy built in. All of the certification has followed within the timescales specified and so far it is working brilliantly. I would highly recommend Ace Solar - this is probably the best experience I have had with any major work to my house! Well done.

Ace installed a solar system for us early this year and I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We chose them as they were a local company with good reviews but I would certainly choose them again for any further projects. Every part of the process, from inquiry through to planning and delivery went very smoothly and we were kept up to date. Both Martin and his installation team were highly professional and considerate. The actual installation work was achieved incredibly quickly, to budget and has generated somewhat more than the estimates given. Customer service was second to none- immediate assistance from a full technical team after a glitch with our EV charger (relating to the charger software, it turned out, not the installation) A neighbour subsequently had an installation from them on our recommendation and was delighted.

I have waited a year post installation to write a review to see how this complex installation actually worked in practice. Extremely professional from first contact. Speedy detailed response that was clear about what would be done and costs. Communication first class, well planned and kept to dates and costs. Installation team who enjoyed their job, went out of their way to ensure I was happy with process, explaining what they were doing. I could not fault this company or the installation team. Over a year in and across the seasons, I have made significant savings and looking to a shorter return on investment that Solar predicted. Great company to work with and I have recommended them to many friends.

We are very satisfied with Ace Solar. The first visit to discuss our requirements was good and Martin knows his stuff! Unlike some of the other companies we contacted, who sent a salesman, he understands PV systems in detail and made informed recommendations for our particular system. The quotation was provided promptly and there was no pressure to proceed. The work was undertaken at a date that suited us and to the agreed cost. Ace Solar uses its own staff for installation, all of whom were efficient, friendly and helpful. Only the scaffolding was sub-contracted and they were very good too. The office staff were helpful in providing and explaining all the paperwork. After installation, a minor teething problem was sorted quickly and without any quibbles. We have not had the system long, but are very happy with it.

The team from Ace Solar arrived on time and stayed until the job was done. All work was completed to a high standard and the team were very polite and efficient. Once installed they explained the system to us and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. The team behind the installers are equally helpful and efficient. My husband and I asked Ace Electrical Wolverhampton Ltd to fit 20 solar panels to the roof of our home in Sutton Coldfield. We visited the office, in Wolverhampton on Fri 22nd Sept. We agreed the package on Monday 25th. The following Mon 2nd Oct, the scaffolding was erected, the solar panels were fitted on Tues 3rd Oct and the scaffolding removed on Thurs 5th Oct. The speed and efficiency was to be applauded. There were a team of 3 men putting up the panels and 2 electricians. They arrived early, worked continuously and completed the whole job in the day. They were friendly, courteous, clean and tidy workers and they all did an excellent job. This was all made possible by the 2 excellent ladies in the office who were so very helpful in arranging it all so efficiently knowing we were trying to cope with some difficult family situations that had arisen suddenly. The whole process was so quick, the company made the appointments round me, they were helpful with all the planning and logistics. The team of men were brilliant, professional and courteous at all times. I wasn't sure of how it would be organised, or how much hassle it would be. To be honest I was quite apprehensive about it. However, I didn't need to worry at all, they worked so hard and efficiently, it was finished without any disruption at all. The main office help you with everything, how to get started etc. The team of men were very knowledgeable also and explained everything to me thoroughly, setting the app up on my phone with me, they made it so easy. What a fantastic team, I would recommend them to everyone.

ACE Solar Energy were able to arrange for the removal of solar panels, erection of scaffold around chimney stack, removal of scaffold around chimney stack and reinstatement of solar panels. This enabled me to get a roofer in to undertake repairs to the chimney stack and roof. Everyone involved in this work were courtesy, professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The schedule for the works that had been agreed on, was achieved and what started out as being a nightmare job for me to organize went very smoothly thanks to ACE Solar Energy.

From first to last I was very satisfied with this trader. The initial advice given was good and the quotation was provided very promptly, and followed up with a site survey, but there was no pressure to proceed. The work was undertaken very quickly and in accordance with the agreed timetable, and efforts were made to minimise any disruption. Apart from the scaffolding, the trader uses its own staff, all of whom were efficient, friendly and helpful. The office staff were knowledgeable, and available when needed, and following completion of the work were helpful in providing and explaining all the paperwork. Although we have only had the installation for a short time we are delighted with it.

We wanted to reduce carbon footprint and got recommended to Ace solar. Very sensible quote and we sat few weeks but got no calls or pushed for project to complete the work. The whole team finished the work in given time. Very reasonable price,good quality 20 panels,inverter of 5kwh and battery of 9.5kwh all for under13k. The system was completed 2 weeks ago and is functioning well and already saving import from grid.

Martin was supportive and helpful regarding the solar installation and options. Tracey, Tracey and Lucy in the office were helpful regarding the processes and the documentation required. Matt, Will, Dave and Nathan were a friendly and helpful installation team. They were tidy and consulted regarding the works. I had one query post install and the guys popped back and checked it for me, excellent service. Post the install the documentation has been arriving and the system appears to be working as described. The Scaffolding firm that they use (Elite Scaffold Access) deserve a special mention for a good set of scaffolding, put up in a narrow place, against an Externally insulated wall, with care.

I was kept up to date every step of the way by the very good Tracey. The lads that did the work were always cheerful and very well manned, despite a few problems along the way, which was nothing to do with them but they still helped me saught it out. their work was outstanding and they were a credit to their company.

From the initial enquiry right through to the current post installation service I have found Ace Solar a pleasure to deal with. On site workmen and office staff have all been very helpful and efficient and once started, the whole installation only took two days. The only frustration is one that Ace Solar themselves share, and that is problems with getting their scaffolding sub-contractors to come back and remove the scaffolding after the installation.

When we moved house we decided that we would have photovoltaic panels, a battery and an inverter fitted. We contacted Ace Solar because a very good friend of ours had used the company to install systems on two houses. They spoke very highly of the company. I contacted Ace and entered into email communication. Having provided photographs of the property and information about how we would use the system we received a quote. We felt it was a reasonable price bearing in mind what we wanted. Unfortunately for us, Ace are a very popular company and other work delayed their start. Fortunately, we were fitted in before our scheduled date. The team, roofers and electricians arrived with us as detailed in our telephone call. All of the men were very polite and set to work quickly. The roofers identified that we could fit more panels to our roof than had been quoted for. They provided me with the information and left me to make the decision. Three extra panels were added. My curiosity about the operation and fitting of the system got the better of me. Every question I asked was answered in such a way that I could understand. The team worked hard to fit and commission the system. Nothing was too much trouble. A really nice team who obviously wanted to do the best job possible. As I say they are aptly named as the experience was Ace. I would recommend Ace Solar unreservedly to anyone who asked.

From start to finish and beyond they have been excellent. Clear information throughout the process, all workforce efficient throughout, and when I have asked many questions they have replied quickly and clearly. Would highly recommend them as a provider of Solar.

I had been looking at solar for about 12 months and had some high priced quotes and some very high pressure sales men & women, trying to get me to sign on the dotted line. I then called ACE Solar and was visited by Martin. We discussed my requirements and we had some emails backwards and forwards. Martin was able to help with technical requirements and the fitting of ferrite cores to reduce interference. System was installed with very little fuss. Tracy sorted out the FIT application and warranties with no trouble at all. When the sun is out I can have washing machine and dryer running but still be giving a few 100 watts to the grid! System has been installed over 4 years and I'm very pleased with the system and the savings I have made. I get a small amount of money from my FIT each year, but still pleased. Highly recmmended.

We decided to use Ace Solar after talking to a number of companies and found them to be the most knowledgeable and professional. Despite huge supply issues (which they warned us about prior to placing our order- and a nationwide issue), they installed our panels immediately while we waited for the inverter and batteries - We also changed our minds on the make and type of inverter/ battery and Ace were brilliant in accommodating our changes! The inverter arrived next and the installation was completed in a neat and tidy manner. We also upgraded our car charger to Solar, which again was done neatly without any issues. When the batteries finally arrived into the country, they were installed as soon as they were received. We have been running with the full install now for over a month with no issues and are very pleased with the savings and the neat work done. Also, the price we paid was very competitive.

Used Ace solar once again to have a 10kW battery unit installed to support our existing 4kW solar energy system, which we had fitted by Ace solar about 5 years ago. As expected a good efficient install, with all our technical questions promptly answered prior to installation. Very pleased with the results. The Battery backup system is now working well above our expectations. Even on a clear short winters day, achieving 100% charge. Which lasts through to the next day. However high demand appliance use such as washing machine usage does deplete stored energy more quickly. So care needs to be exercised in terms of when and how and what combination of appliances are used at any given time.

Ace were recommended to us by friends and we are so glad we followed their advice. The work they carried out 9 solar panels, battery and inverter was of the highest quality. The installers were punctual, informative and helpful. They explained what they were going to do at each stage and involved us in decision making. Even to the extent that when they looked at our roof they were able to offer to fit an additional panel to our roof, something we were not expecting but were more than happy for them to do. Despite the demand for their services and the weather conditions in December they turned up when they had arranged, explained each stage and completed the work on budget (with the additional cost of the extra panel). Communication with the office was straightforward and clear.

The team fitted the system over a number of visits due to equipment arriving at different times, this was completed with a professional manner. The team managed all works around my working from home which was very much appreciated and the work was completed to a high standard. Great team and great value.

There were about 4 months between our first enquiry and finally placing an order with Ace Solar. It is a huge investment and Martin was helpful and patient, and answered all our many questions. Unfortunately, after our panels had been fitted and had been operating for a month we developed a problem and could not generate electricity. We had high voltage coming into our house which took a time for Western Power to rectify. GivEnergy, the manufacturer and supplier of the inverter were also extremely slow to act and very unhelpful, denying that the inverter had failed, even though it had. However, in the end it was all sorted, the inverter replaced by Ace Solar and the battery fitted. Despite a few hiccups along the way, we are very happy with our solar panels and the service we received from Martin, Tracey, Matt and all the staff at Ace Solar.

Ace Electrical (Wolverhampton) recently installed a home battery system for me. So far I am very pleased with the installation: the new battery has worked well with my 10-year-old solar panels, and also, of course, with the grid. I strongly recommend Ace Electrical (Wolverhampton): They are a reliable, honest company, with pleasant people (To name 3: In the office, Tracey, always helpful; Installers, Will and Jack, efficient and neat), and do a very good job at a reasonable price.

Having had our solar panels fitted in 2014,suddenly they stopped working after 8 years of good service. I rang our original fitters Ace solar to get advice/help. Martin himself answered the phone and came to investigate the problem within a few hours, he was as always more than happy to see what the problem was, which was a fuse blown. Martin ordered the fuse and fixed the issue within 3 days. I am now up and running again. Martin was as always polite helpful and made me feel at ease with no charge for his service. I feel this Company needs a pat on the back for dealing with my problem so swiftly despite having the panels fitted 8years ago, I would recommend Ace solar energy to everyone considering having Solar Panels. The company advised 14 solar panels, inverter and battery to match. Due to unavoidable delays because of Covid the work started on 31/1/22. They were quick and tidy. Again because of supply issues it was not till 6/4/22 that they could fit the battery. Again the work was done quickly and tidily. I now have an amazing system that has reduced my demand on mains electricity to less than 10p per day. All told an excellent experience.

Martin fitted a Zappi charger for my EV. From start to finish the whole process was without fault. No problems ordering and fitting. Everything was done on time and with ease. An outstanding, helpful & trustworthy company! I had a fault on my solar system & had two other experienced people check the system out & they could not find the problem, leaving me with only one option, to have a new system (inverter) fitted. Ace Electrical quoted me a replacement price. The following day they arrived to install the part but first checked my old system out & found they were able to repair it, saving me nearly £800! That’s real honesty, as I was prepared to pay for a new part and installation.

The pre-sales consultancy was excellent and the solar panels, inverter and car charger installation was fully completed on the dates agreed. The equipment was fitted and fully tested with no fuss in a helpful manor fully explaining the operation. The site was left clean and tidy. Certification and competition documentation was provided in a timely manor all meeting the agreed cost. After care and ongoing support have been excellent with inverter and Zappi firmware updates successfully completed.

Having already had one property fitted with Electric Solar Panels some 5 years ago we had no hesitation in using Ace Solar on our new house. Both systems were installed to a very high standard and would have no hesitation to recommend Ace Solar for there professional approach to their work. The technical ability, installation and friendliness was excellent. Whilst the technology had moved forward during the 5 years this was clear with our new system. The calculations and estimations provided for the output from the systems was very accurate in fact we have produced slightly better than predicted. Ace Electrical supplied and installed approx 450 Solar panels to our factory roof . They had to work to tight deadlines to get the contract completed by the end of March. As with most projects problems occurred along the way but Ace did everything to solve these issues and get the work completed on time . They helped us each step of the way submitting the appropriate paperwork for the FIT and the after service has been superb. No hesitation in recommending the company for future contracts.

This is the second time we have used Ace Solar on both occasions the job has been completed in a professional manner. What we were told is exactly what we got without any fuss or frustration. Martin from Ace Electrical fitted a Myenergie Zappi electric vehicle charger with an 8 meter fixed charge cable at my house for a good price and at the time and day agreed. The installation was neat and the charger worked following its installation. The site was tidied up on the completion of the work. When I found the garage door would not shut due to a cable run conflict Martin returned the same day to fix the issue. Once I started using the charger it was apparent that the display did not show the solar element of the charge. Martin returned within a few days and reset the appropriate sensor. Following this I configured the appropriate settings on the charger set up screen and now the display shows both the power imported from the grid and the power that comes from my solar panels. Tracey in the office kept me well informed throughout the process.

Ace electrical carried out the solar panel installation, and all the relevant forms for the feed in tariff. Excellent communication 10/10 for the work carried out. Keep up the good work

I couldn't not write about our experience. Fab fitting our solar panels so we decided to let them do our first fix electrics. Found that many problems when we came to second fix. They didn't want to know about coming back out to finish, told us an unacceptable time scale and quoted us silly money. So brought someone else out and have discovered so many things that have only been half done. Cables not run properly etc. Caused us so much hassle and headache we wished we had never used them in the first place.

Martin and the team did an excellent job of my recent solar installation and electrical work in my home. Martin spent time to present the technical range of installation options to me, was extremely knowledgable on the technical details and was in no way pushy. The lads turned up on time, cracked on with the job, delivered a tidy installation and cleaned up after them. Quality of the work was excellent. Would fully recommend to anyone.

From the first contact with Ace Solar Energy I was impressed with their professionalism and enthusiasm. Martin took some time to understand what I was looking for then recommended a thin film system. His team of fitters were totally professional and took great pride in their work which was completed on time and to a high standard. I have an electric AGA cooker and Martin recommended a control unit which will feed the AGA from the panels instead of using mains electricity, it is a very elegant solution which I absolutely love. All in all can't recommend this company enough
