Acer Tree Services provide a specialist Arboricultural service. We have been providing a quality service to clients, both commercial and private, across the South East for many years. We pride ourselves on our skilled and knowledgeable workforce who deliver a professional service with high levels of safety, quality and customer care. We are fully insured for our operations, we adhere to British standards and legislation, and ensure that our staff are certified to the NPTC industry standard.

I had a tree pollarded. I got a few quotes from different companies and chose Acer. The Acer team arrived on time and did a fantastic job, tidying up (leaf blowing) both the back AND front gardens, even though the tree is located in the rear garden. They are friendly and efficient. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with Michael and his team. They arrived on time to trim a very large leylandi hedge and numerous shrubs. They worked quickly and efficiently and left the garden neat and tidy. Michael is knowledgeable and I plan to have him come back to prune some fruit trees in the future.

I would highly recommend Michael and his team- they did a supremely, exceptional job of my back garden! They did a thoroughly professional task in removing three large pyracantha shrubs and other large shrubs from my garden and ground out the stumps. Removing all the debris and left my garden clean and tidy. They were on time, polite and went above and beyond what was expected. Acer are a company, that once used, you will, without question, either recommend to others or use again yourself again!

The team had given good advice prior to the work recommending an approach to make the most of the current trees. The guys were on time in the morning and kept me up to date throughout the day, advising of changes as they worked. The guys were polite throughout the day. The work was completed as agreed and to a high quality. The cuttings were cleared away and garden left in a much better state. Really pleased with the quality of the work and the service overall.

Michael and his team removed an over sized cherry blossom tree and cut back our apple tree. Not only was the work completed efficiently but Michael arrived when he said he would, the quote arrived within a couple of days of meeting him, followed by a specific date and time due to complete it, left the garden tidy and was extremely helpful throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

They were very thorough in removing the 12 or so stumps completely and Michael took all my concerns about completely removing them so I could plant new trees. I would definitely use them again if I needed to. They were very tidy at the end also. Michael also was happy to give advice on new trees at any time.

Pruned 3 oak trees, 3 holly trees and a row of conifers. Trimmed mixed hedges all around the garden. Excellent job, cleared up well and left everything tidy. We have used Acer Tree Services a number of times over many years and they have always been efficient and courteous with the minimum of disruption possible. Will definitely use again.

Mike and his team removed three trees (a small Alder stem and two Silver Birch) then reduced and trimmed a Leylandii hedge. The work was performed quickly and efficiently, all the debris was removed and the garden was left neat and tidy. Overall I was very impressed and I have no hesitation in recommending Acer Tree Services.

Michael and his team came to remove two trees and prune a third. I was very impressed, not only by how hard they worked, completing all the work in a few hours, but also by the clearing up. They did such a good job of clearing up that the garden looked much tidier after they left than before they came, having removed the remains of autumn leaves, bits of tree that had come down in recent winds and even moss from the lawn. The road, which is where they did the shredding, was similarly cleaned to a high standard so that there was no indication that they had been. We were really pleased with the work and cannot recommend them highly enough.

On first contact via phone call with Michael I explained my mum has dementia and I live in North Yorkshire. Michael made the whole experience hassle free with minimum confusion to my mum. He text me an hour before he was going to be at my mums so I could let her know, he arrived on time! Removed conifer tree without any hassle. My mum reported he was very pleasant and patient with her! Then payment was made easy by bank transfer by me, so mum didn't have to worry about making payment. Thanks Michael.

Very happy with the professional approach and great service I received. We had several trees taken down including stump grinding, fallen trees tidied away and some oaks trimmed. I also particularly liked that we got good advice but at no point felt that we were being "oversold" a service, rather in some instances were advised to leave things as they were. Everything left in excellent order. I will definitely use them again in the future.

The work included the feeling of large, mature trees, removal of branches and saplings plus trimming a large holly hedge. We have used Acer in previous years and will do so again. They arrive when expected and always stick to their estimate. They work efficiently - including taking down a very tall pine in a relatively small space. They always do a great job and work quickly and tidily. Mike and his workforce are all pleasant and I consider them to be completely trustworthy. We have never been pressured by Mike to have work done.
