Having just had a replacement roof fitted to our conservatory by Acorn Windows we have nothing but praise for this company. Polite, punctual, and very professional from start to finish. Well done to all concerned

We were contacted 2 days before our patio doors were to be fitted and told the supplier had not provided them. This led to a further 3 week delay. The fitters arrived late in the morning on the day and when we phoned, we were told they had “overslept”. Trims were not fitted and we were told they would call back when the supplier had provided them. We phoned a couple of weeks later, having heard nothing and a date for a fitter to call was arranged. The fitter did not have the trims when he came but made adjustments and fitted a number of screws that had been omitted. A further date was arranged for the trims to be fitted but the fitters did not arrive on the day, despite me phoning the office late in the afternoon and being assured they would come. They phoned the next day saying they had been delayed and were coming that day. I asked the fitters to tell someone from the office to contact me as I was unhappy with the service. The next I heard was a phone call asking for payment, some 3 weeks later. We used this firm because they are local and we believed we would get a good service. We would not use them again and would not recommend them.

A great job ,done quickly and professionally by two lovely lads. Andy and Dave. Everything left clean and sparkling. Lantern roof next at a later date. Would recommend.

The handle to my front door failed locking me out of my home after 22 years of constant use. I rang Acorn windows and within 30 minutes James came to my rescue and opened the door for me,he then made an inspection of the door and recommended I should consider replacing the said front door. Having experienced the prompt and professional support given by Acorn I decided to purchase a new door. Acorn have lots of designs and colours to choose from but I eventually decided on a black composite door with red stain glass. It looks fantastic l am very pleased with my purchase. Acorn Windows were professional from start to finish. No pressured sales tactics, just clear, fair pricing and sensible discussions about what I wanted and how they could help me achieve this, including letting me design stain glass for the top lights myself to work with the door chosen and the style of the house. The windows were very well fitted. The fitters were excellent at explaining the window features and fitting so I am completely confident of their quality and the fitting process - which made a real change from the last firm I dealt with! This quality work included working really hard to ensure they could replace my original internal wood architrave round the new door! This was a real bonus, as I wasn't sure it would be possible. All the staff were polite and friendly, the fitters were also tidy and worked really hard to get the job finished, despite a few flurries of snow! The windows and door are beautiful and I have already had lots of complements on how good they look!

New to the area didn't know any of the trades, happened to see a vehicle with their name on the side of it. Gave them a call & from then on very impressed with everything, from the quote & the promptness of them being fitted. It was dreadful weather when they were fitted, but they made sure we were comfortable throughout. They cleaned up all the time & were very friendly, we were very impressed with all the windows & doors they replaced & would highly recommend them, so glad we saw their stripes vehicle that day, very pleased.

Ten years down the line, Acorn ordered replacement bathroom windows from their records. Phone call on the day before arrival, so I could ready the replacement. Job done, no mess, no issues, within 30 mins each. Again, exceptional work - no fuss - no mess. Why go anywhere else when you can get quality service like this? Brill again Acord! Thank you.

We asked Acorn to replace most of our old windows and two doors. Their quotation was almost identical to another quotation, so I am satisfied that the price was fair. From initial contact to the completion of the job, all their staff were polite, helpful and considerate. Acorn kept to its deadlines; a couple of small issues arose during the process but these were resolved very quickly and, in the end, the job was completed in accordance with the original timetable. We paid a bit more for strengthened low-emission glass and can only say that we are delighted with the result: the units look very smart, the fitters were efficient and clean - everything was properly tidied up - and the glass clearly does perform well for both temperature control and noise-reduction. It is early days (only a week or two since they finished) but, as things stand, we would happily use Acorn again.
