We wanted to use a local family run window company and as we had already used Acorn Windows for small job before (i.e. back door fitting), we decided that we would obtain a quote. All the measuring was done with precision, and the windows were made to our specification. Work commenced 4 weeks later. We can't fault any of the work, the window fitters were excellent. We would have no hesitation recommending Acorn Windows to family and friends.

I used Acorn for a new back door and they did a fantastic job. The staff from start to finish are very friendly and efficient and everything was so easy. Everyone arrived on time, did the job to a very high standard and after it was finished everything was spotless. I can't recommend them enough if you need any of the products that they supply. From first meeting, through survey, base laying and installation I received everything I wanted for a difficult design porch/small conservatory to fit in the "corner" of my house. With self cleaning glass, tri-fold doors, entrance door and double glazing with integrated "Venetian" blinds my porch is perfect. I cannot recommend Acorn highly enough. Thanks Acorn

When Hope Nottingham (www.hopenottingham.org.uk) refurbished the premises to expand the work of their drop in cafe for vulnerable people hey needed double glazed doors to finish off the work and providing a warm and welcoming entrance. The funds were not available but Acorn responded to a request for help and the products they have installed has given us just the appearance we wanted but didn't think we would ever afford and all fited by a team for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Had a new door fitted by Acorn windows a year ago and what a great service we received from the first phone called to the completion. So when I lost my keys and needed a new lock they were the first choice to call and again I wasn't disappointed new looks fitted all with in an hour. Despite not being local to Nottm (in Derbyshire) we chose Acorn having never used them before. Replaced an entire house of windows, French Doors, bay windows and the price for this high quality of product was largely as expected and very competitive. But the most important thing to note is that the pre sales service and the work of the Acorn Installers was spot on. Professional, smart and in branded workwear, courteous and friendly. And on time, every time! Well done Acorn - I would recommend you to anyone.

Disgusting communication and customer service from Acorn Windows, would not use this company again for any further work.I recently put an order in for the replacement of a patio door and kitchen window as part of a significant home improvement project. The project went very well, the replacement window and door from Acorn Windows were fraught with disaster. And problems of which I had to chase continuously With phone calls and taking time off work to wait in for. Even after complaining to James Hibbert and sending photos of his teams work there was no offer of an apology ! When we were researching the company a letter of commendation was found which was dated 29th February 2017, however it was written 30th March 2016! . It seems communication may be an issue.

Acorn Windows recently fitted some new windows for me. The salesman who initially came over was great - not pushy at all and very friendly. The fitters were brilliant - I've had a lot of trades people through the door over the years and these were among the best. The windows look great - a very modern finish which was just what I wanted. I did have a query about the frames themselves after the fitting and the company were faultless at making sure I was happy. I had eight different companies over for quotes because so many of them were terrible - I'm glad that I found Acorn Windows in the end! This was a unique and pleasant experience from beginning to end. No pushy salesman, instead a gentleman who knew his job & gave good advice. The surveyor saw a small problem which we were able to sort before work commenced. Fitters were prompt, polite & friendly and considerate of my home. A very efficient and professional team. 12/10
