It was an excellent experience from original survey, to final installation of the original encapsulated windows. Jason and Roger, who carried out the bulk of the work, were friendly, polite and extremely professional. We live in a 1930s house in Wollaton and wanted to keep the character of the house, by having the landing original window replaced by a double glazed window, encapsulating the original stained glass. The result is amazing and we are extremely pleased. One of the main reasons for using Acorn was that so many friends had used them on similar houses and the feedback was the same. They are excellent to deal with.

Our 25 year old conservatory roof was worse for wear, with bits cracking badly and severe discolouration blocking a lot of light out. James visited and suggested a new glass roof to replace the old polycarbonate one. Also numerous double glazed side windows had blown and needed replacing. Fitters Adam and Steve visited and over two days worked very hard replacing all of the above. They did a superb job, even cleaning all the UPVC units making them cleaner than they had been for many years! They even replaced the guttering and downpipe which I wasn't expecting. Over the past 21 years I have used Acorn for numerous jobs and wouldn't use anyone else for this type of work. I also know that if any problems do arise, they will sort them out promptly without fuss, so refreshing in this day and age.

Opted to use a local company. The whole process of organising a quote, measuring up and booking an installation date was simple and we had good communication all the way through the process. The Fitters (Jason & Roger) arrived on time and were very friendly and efficient. The job was completed in just over 2 hours with no mess. The standard of work was excellent and the finished job looked great, we were very pleased - thank you to all the team at Acorn. Would definitely use again.

When we purchased our late Victorian property we knew that it would need a lot of work. With the greatest single expense being the windows that needed replacing. We tried some larger companies who gave inflated quotes and played a silly game to pressure us to agree. We found Acorn while looking around West Bridgford and after meeting our neighbours also found out that they had used them and recommended them highly. Acorn gave us a friendly and comforting service from the start, as it turns out we decided to replace all 19 windows in the house and considered replacing the front door as well. They communicated frequently and were able to accommodate our requests despite the complexity of the job, with several old sash box windows needing to be replaced. There was no pressure and we went back and forth on the plans even including a window we all missed at the end. After a couple of months of waiting we managed to get Jamie and his son Josh in at the end of October. They worked at a breakneck pace, despite the need for a brick-up of half a window and a slightly too ambitious schedule which is our only real criticism. The work they did was of the highest quality and they were friendly and helpful throughout, repairing an outside cill not originally in the plans that had collapsed on the 2nd floor. They answered any questions we had as they went along and came back at the weekend just to get things finished. Leaving the tidy & clean. Overall we could not be happier!

Acorn Windows were absolutely fantastic to deal with, very professional throughout, a breath of fresh air to be honest. Dealing with David and Sam was a great experience. Dave and Brad fitted eight windows and a front door, they were extremely polite, efficient, tidy workers who took a genuine pride in doing a great job. We've just had our rear window & lintel fitted yesterday. Both the guys (Jason & Roger) that carried out the work at our house today have been fantastic! They were both really polite, clean & tidy, very knowledgeable & have done an excellent job going above & beyond, cannot fault them or their workmanship which has been done to an exceptional Standard. Would highly recommend & will definitely use Acorn & team again in future!

Following a significant amount of research we chose Acorn to replace our windows and doors. This was based on feedback from other customers and the obvious experience of their salesman and surveyor. At no time were they pushy, which cannot be said of other companies we requested quotes from. Their quote was competitive and we made several revisions which were all captured in the specification. When the installation started it became clear that removing the existing windows was going to be extremely difficult, but at no stage was it suggested that a short cut would be taken. The installation team (father and son) worked incredibly hard to ensure that all aspects of the specification were followed. The quality of work was outstanding. Having read so many stories about double glazing nightmares it was refreshing to have the work completed stress free. Choosing Acorn shows the benefit of choosing a family run company that really care about their customers, I cannot recommend them enough.

This is the 3rd time that we've used Acorn, having previously used them to replace our upstairs & bay windows. This time, we needed to replace our back door. Edgar was very helpful in suggesting the different options that were available to us, & we ultimately went with his recommendation of a door with an integral tilt & turn panel. The installation engineer was also very helpful & did an excellent job with the installation, including showing us how to use the lock & keys (which operate in a slightly unusual way). The integral tilt & turn panel looked even better than we expected, and we have been making full use of it ever since. After the installation, we had some minor issues with obtaining extra keys and the door started sticking. We reported these issues to Acorn and the Managing Director came round to discuss them in person. This was a mutually beneficial process, and we were very happy with both the discussion and the resultant action. It is rare to find a company that is so willing to own, learn from and rectify their mistakes. We will definitely keep using Acorn in future!

I have been using Acorn Windows for around 20 years, starting with soffits, facias & guttering. Since then I have helped both my son and daughter with work on their first own homes and now some on the mother-in-law's house in two weeks time. Yesterday we had a new back door with side window fitted. Initially there were some problems for the first time ever with the fitting date being re-arranged 3 times. So I was very frustrated with Acorn. It seems these delays were caused by illness in their fitting teams and they recently explained they don't like using contract fitters whose work may not be to the same standards as their own employed fitters. In the end we were pleased with this approach as Jason & Roger did a great job yesterday. They were both very pleasant and explained all they were doing. When finished they demonstrated the workings of the door, including how the key should be used for locking (slightly different from some other doors). They also cleaned up well and left no mess. So our faith in Acorn has been restored and we look forward to a similarly high quality job at the mother-in law's in two weeks time.

We initially had Acorn in to replace our windows and doors in 2021 as we felt they had the highest quality product of the quotes we had received. We encountered a few issues but were incredibly impressed with how they resolved everything, with the MD James coming out, going over our concerns, making a plan to resolve them all and waiting until we were fully happy before our final payment. Our doors and windows are excellent and we've had multiple compliments on how well they look with our Victorian house, particularly the composite door. We called them again when we started to consider getting our extension done, James came out a couple of times to go over plans with us, then when we were ready to commit, the quote they provided was the most competitive of the 3 we received, plus we had met the project manager Mick previously and instantly felt in good hands so put a deposit down. Sadly, the plans fell through on the discovery of sewer lines surrounding our house that we couldn't build near. James and Mick were very supportive in discussing solutions and Mick came out to meet our building planner, even opening up the sewer covers to work out what we may or may not be able to do which was incredibly helpful and led us to the decision to sell rather compromise on our plans. Despite us offering to cover both of their times, James was understanding of our situation and fully refunded the deposit. We would use them for any other building work without question. Highly recommend.

Acorn fitted several windows to my property. After the fitting, I noticed that one glass window was scratched. I informed Acorn and the faulty window was replaced to my total satisfaction. I would like to say that this happened AFTER I had paid my invoice. The team listened to my feedback, in a polite and professional manner, and quickly replaced the window in question. I understand that a fault can rarely happen but the manner in which this was dealt with was first class.

This is the 2nd time using Acorn windows. Very competitive company. Work carried out to replace 8 windows at our house. Everyone we dealt with at Acorn was very polite and helpful. We had a window replaced with french doors and a door + window replaced with a larger window in our kitchen. This included all brickwork and two new lintels. The price was very competitive and Jamie and son Josh did an absolutely brilliant job. From the outside, it looks original and has completely changed the way our kitchen looks and feels. Will definitely use Acorn again in the future and would highly recommend.

Just had a conservatory installed in my bungalow after having four windows and a door fitted the previous year from Acorn Windows, they are a dream to deal with very efficient and professional, the quality of the product coupled with the skill of the fitters actually makes for a fantastic end result. James the MD did the quote and though they did a couple of extras which were not on the quote the price given was what they charged, Mick who does the measurements and goes through how the end product will look is at the top of his game, everything fitted perfectly and was exactly as described, the bricklayers were superb and Steve (Tomo) the fitter and his workmate Adam worked like Trojans in foul weather to deliver a superb conservatory. If you are thinking of having a conservatory this company is well worth employing.

Acorn Windows have done a considerable amount of work on our property over a 5-month period. All the house windows were replaced, the roofline changed to plastic and the gables faced with lead cladding. In addition they constructed a large 6m x 3m garden room with large opening doors and a triangular window over one of the doors. The house has been modernised and upgraded. All the work has been carried out to a very high standard and all the workmen from their own company, or under contract, have been very skilled, polite and tidy. We have no hesitation recommending them.

Acorn Windows came highly recommended by a friend and lived up to all expectations. I needed a very old glass lean to replacing on my house. James came out and suggested increasing the amount of glass to maximise light. This consultation was followed by a prompt and competitive quote. The fitters were on time, polite and really hard working. They worked quickly and left everything tidy each night. The finish is outstanding! I had 2 old aluminium windows replaced in my bungalow as part of refurbishment a living room bay window and a bedroom window. The price was competitive and the process from start to finish straightforward with surveying and installation dates kept to. The bay roof lathe and plaster ceiling was damaged prior to window installation and the fitters gave me some advice on repair / replacement of the area including the need for insulation which was helpful

Asked for picture window to replace broken door and fix water ingress. After consultation and discussion Juliet balcony -which was poorly made by previous builder was removed, window placed, roof made to fit in with rest of roof. Beautiful job. Courteous conscientious builder-Mick- polite hard working considerate. Work done to very high standard. Answered all my questions. Used Acorn before , who replaced my front door and built my porch. They were fantastic then. I trust them completely They will not do things that don’t need doing but they do everything to make the job professionally well done and to high standard. They will be adaptive if needed and correct any issues or damage if caused-great work

From beginning to end everything was just perfect. no gimmicks, no nonsense, no pressure, no hard sell, just honest professionalism. I had a new front door and side panels fitted. I was very impressed with the two fitters who worked with such care for my home. I had mentioned that I wanted to sell my old door and side panels so they removed them with care. Although it cannot be guaranteed, none of my decoration was damaged at all, my carpets were covered up properly, they had respect for my home. I had had four previous quotes prior to Acorn Windows quoting me, some cheaper some more expensive, but as previously stated ,I liked the no nonsense approach, no pressure, no hard sell. Just an invite to come and view the show home which was by the way very impressive,you can actually see the quality of the products. I had one very minor problem with my door, which was corrected within days. The after sales are great nothing is a problem. I am so satisfied that I am now booked in to have three windows replaced in February. Oh,and I never bothered having quotes from anyone else !!!!

All of the staff involved from the initial contact, the visit to quote, the detailed survey and through to carrying out the work to replace 4 windows were professional, and very considerate. At each stage any questions were answered promptly and clearly and the work was carried out to the agreed schedule and cost.

This is the second time Acorn has worked for us. Last year they replaced windows to the rear of the house. The quality of their work then, gave us confidence to ask them to undertake the major task of replacing ground floor and first floor bay windows with double glazed sash windows. We were particularly anxious that the Edwardian features of the house would not be compromised and spent a great deal of time with the Acorn Surveyor on that point. We were very impressed at the amount of detailed work he undertook. We specifically asked for the same team we had last year to undertake this work and Acorn were happy to agree to that. This helped enormously in reducing some of the stress of having such major work undertaken. Brad and Dave are outstanding craftsmen and we have been so impressed at the quality of their work. In order to retain the character of the house a significant amount of joinery was required. Moulded timber architrave was cut to match the original window surround. Matt undertook this work with great skill. We suspect that there were some additional costs incurred, for example a plumber had to remove radiators for plastering to be completed and lead work had to be undertaken which had not been anticipated. But the original quote for the work was not altered. From start to finish we were so impressed with the quality of work undertaken and the house is now completely double glazed without the character of the house being compromised. Well done Acorn.

We have used Acorn many times over the past few years to install doors, windows, a conservatory and a garden room. On each occasion, the work has been of a very high standard and when any remedial work has been required they have attended to it promptly without any quibble. Timekeeping has been very good and on the rare occasion where there was a problem, they let us know of the change well in advance. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, in fact, have done so on many occasions to friends.

Following a competitive quote from James, we were visited by David who surveyed our requirements and then by Jason and Craig who installed new front and back doors. Despite a small hiccup when our order was lost and then we had to chase the surveyor, all other interactions with Acorn have been good. This is the only reason I’ve given them 4/5 for ‘customer service’. If I was rating the actual surveyor who did the work and the fitters themselves, they would have received 5/5. The work carried out by two fitters, in particular, was first class. They were courteous, tidy and friendly. They turned up on time and just got on with the work required without any fuss. We’ve used Acorn now to have a conservatory built, new windows and now new doors. We would definitely recommend them as a reliable, competitive and trustworthy company.

Our first impression of Acorn Windows as a company was a positive one involving their Director James Hibberts visiting and quoting for the work required. There was no heavy selling but simply a clear outline of the options and leaving us to give thought to what had been discussed. We could possibly have got a lower price elsewhere but following a visit to their showroom we appointed Acorn as we felt the price was fair. We had new windows and both front and rear doors and are delighted with the quality of the product. The operatives Jason and Craig were punctual each day, courteous throughout and worked very hard and were very tidy.It was a pleasure to have them working in our home and they were excellent representatives of Acorn. The work carried out included 10 replacement UPVC window frames/glazing and 1 replacement UPVC door/glazing. We are very pleased with the work which has been carried out. The windows and door have smartened up the appearance of our house markedly, there has been a noticeable reduction in noise intrusion from outside (don’t know about any temperature benefits yet!), and we were happy with the workmanship of the fitting team (Matthew and Lewis), who were courteous and helpful throughout, including resolution of some very minor snagging issues. After having three quotes from Double Glazing firms for fitting five sash windows we chose Acorn. Being able to visit their Nottingham showroom was very helpful. We also had a personal recommendation from neighbours. Acorn were not the cheapest quote but the service and quality of the product was outstanding. Father and son, Dave and Brad fitted our windows and we can't praise them highly enough. They clearly came with many years of experience. Work was finished to a very high standard and they cleared up very carefully after the days work and consulted closely with us. We will be having Acorn back to complete the double glazing of the house next year and have asked that Dave and Brad return to undertake that work.

We recently had 2 upstairs windows installed by Acorn Windows, Matt and Lewis were the installers and they did a fantastic job! We have just had 3 upstairs rooms fitted with uPVC sliding sash windows and a composite door fitted by Acorn. We chose Acorn Windows to build our Orangery after seeing the high quality replacement windows they had fitted in a neighbouring property. Due to the pandemic, we decided against project managing the build ourselves, opting instead for a turnkey finish. Planning permission was necessary as we live in a conservation area, so having Acorn recommend an Architect and arrange for a Building Inspector was very helpful. The work of the build team (Tony, Andy and Mick) was fantastic, they always arrived on site when they said they would and we were kept informed at every stage. They all showed great attention to detail and the site was kept immaculately clean throughout the build. All the subcontractors (skip provider, building suppliers, roofers, electrician, plumber and plasterers) were well coordinated which made the work progress very smoothly. The Orangery was completed at the price originally quoted with no hidden extras. Our sincere thanks goes to James and all the Acorn Windows team as the final result has exceeded all our expectations. Although the Orangery is a new extension to a period property, it blends in beautifully due to the complementary rendered finish. We would highly recommend Acorn Windows (Nottingham) and would definitely to use their services again.

Acorn windows have worked with us over the last two years to supply and fit replacements for old wooden windows at St Pauls Church in West Bridgford. They quickly provided us with a very competitive detailed quotation for seven windows and allowed us to phase the work across our financial accounting years to make the work possible. They also provided help and advice whilst we sought approval for the work. We are delighted with the work which has greatly improved the appearance of the building, improved heat retention and saved us from maintenance associated with the original wooden frames. The fitting teams were helpful and polite and worked cleanly and efficiently. After sales service has been excellent and Acorn have responded rapidly and effectively to remedy issues we have raised. The fitters arrived on time on the agreed date. We were very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and the materials used. Once again first class work. Was having problem with bedroom window as in I couldn’t close it. Must make fact known it is over twenty years old. Gentleman who came ,despite having to be up a ladder in the rain fixed it and said no charge because he hadn’t used any mater. All I can say is a very big thankyou to Acorn Windows who having giving a great service for over twenty years.

We are absolutely delighted with the quality of the doors, windows and patio doors installed by Acorn. We are amazed by the quality of the materials used right down to the hinges on the doors. Even now we are still commenting on how good the windows and doors look and feel. We couldn't be happier with the whole process. When James came to assess the work required, he was honest in telling us that sometimes things go wrong but they pride themselves in sorting any problems out fast. I like this because he was honest and true to his word. A couple of things did require sorting out, but these were sorted to our complete satisfaction. We asked Acorn for a quote back in January which was received in a timely manner. Due to Covid-19 the work had to be stalled but on the 5th June the work started. From the scaffolders (separate company) to the guys who came to the house, they were courteous and very clean and tidy. Will definitely use Acorn again.

You would think it should be simple, you want some new windows and you seek referrals and quotes. Some don’t turn up at all, others start with a stupid price and finish with a silly price. However, I contacted Acorn Windows (a friend referred me to them) and they sent a salesperson who turned up, at the right time, on the right day who measured the windows, gave me some options, offered some advice and gave me a price. Oh my god! No messing about, haggling, special Easter Bunny, or other daft discounts, just a price, a good one at that! So, what next? A surveyor turned up (I bet the price changes) he measured everything, said a steel would be required (definitely a price change) and they would be able to fit them in a few weeks once they are made - (No price change - same as originally quoted!) CV-19 lockdown, phone call, very sorry but a delay, OK I thought, thanks for letting me know. CV-19 relaxed a little, phone call, can we fit next week? Yes you can! Fitters call me the day before, still ok? Yes, they turn up on time, as expected and fit the windows. Unforeseen loose bricks above one of the windows, not a problem, the bricklayer will sort them out. Bricklayer makes a great job, windows in, bricks sorted, happy customer. Phone call to check everything is ok, yes it is, original quoted price paid. Great service, quality windows, good communications and a fair price. Fantastic! If Acorn read this - thank you.

I have patio doors that run the full width of my house and their replacement represented a significant investment for me. I was nervous about selecting a supplier bu couldn't have chosen anyone better. I was very impressed with the whole team at Acorn Windows; they managed the whole process very smoothly despite my installation being scheduled during the Covid19 lockdown. Everyone I dealt with answered all my questions fully and promptly, and those coming to the house always arrived when they said they would. While I was impressed with all the staff, the team who did the main installation definitely deserve a special mention. They were polite and accommodating, extremely professional and meticulous in their work, and left my room much better finished than when they started. I am delighted with my new doors and with the service provided by Acorn Windows and will not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

We’ve been using Acorn Windows for around 25 years, having two sets of windows, doors, a conservatory and a side extension. Our latest job was having the polycarbonate roofs replaced on the conservatory and extension with Pilkington self-cleaning glass. I have had a lantern in a flat-roof ceiling and bifold doors in the sun room. The planning was methodical, efficient and creative. The fitting has been amazing. Mick and Wayne worked as a seamless team, leaving everything neat and tidy every day. They were cheerful, self-contained and helpful. Acorn Windows installed the first phase of new double glazing at the Friary Drop-in Centre, West Bridgford. Glaziers worked with minimum disruption during our busiest period to ensure staff at the Friary could offer a warm welcome to homeless and vulnerable adults in the run up to Christmas. Making the centre as draught-proof as possible is essential. A brilliant job well done. Thank you.

Having used Acorn Windows for a replacement conservatory some years ago which was a quality installation I gave then the challenge of replacing the decorative woodwork at the front of the house and extending down part of the side, the existing woodwork needed constant maintenance and was difficult / dangerous to access. The MD, James Hibbert suggested that I replace the wood with fully veneered plastic wood (Rosewood colour) and provided a quotation within a few days to replace the wood with similar sized plastic wood, this has now been completed to a very high standard and the house is now totally maintenance free.

Work includes 2 sets of patio doors, double French doors, a large conservatory, orangery and skylight, 2 bay windows and black front entrance doors. There is never a quibble when an issue arises. A ten year guarantee means ten years where Acorn are concerned. Something not experienced with other companies. They are friendly too at every level. We needed new entrance doors at our Scout Hall and obtained 3 quotations. I was delighted to see Acorn gave us the best quotation because when they had rebuilt my conservatory at home 12 years earlier they did a great job at an excellent price. There sales pitch was not “hard sell”, genuinely knowledgeable and friendly. The double, outward opening doors were fitted on a day that suited out usage of the Hall. The fitters were polite and careful and cleaned up thoroughly. It was a delight to be able to recognise people who had worked on my conservatory 12 years ago...and they were still working for Acorn. James visited and gave honest advise on what door and glass we required and left a quality brochure for me and my wife to consider the design. Ordered a new composite door with side panels - grey outside and white inside. Confirmation came with the installation date and on the day (as promised) the guys came and did a great job + helped me fix/adjust another door. All clean and tidy and the door is excellent. All in all very help happy with all aspects and would thoroughly recommend Acorn Windows.

Having just had a replacement roof fitted to our conservatory by Acorn Windows we have nothing but praise for this company. Polite, punctual, and very professional from start to finish. Well done to all concerned

We were contacted 2 days before our patio doors were to be fitted and told the supplier had not provided them. This led to a further 3 week delay. The fitters arrived late in the morning on the day and when we phoned, we were told they had “overslept”. Trims were not fitted and we were told they would call back when the supplier had provided them. We phoned a couple of weeks later, having heard nothing and a date for a fitter to call was arranged. The fitter did not have the trims when he came but made adjustments and fitted a number of screws that had been omitted. A further date was arranged for the trims to be fitted but the fitters did not arrive on the day, despite me phoning the office late in the afternoon and being assured they would come. They phoned the next day saying they had been delayed and were coming that day. I asked the fitters to tell someone from the office to contact me as I was unhappy with the service. The next I heard was a phone call asking for payment, some 3 weeks later. We used this firm because they are local and we believed we would get a good service. We would not use them again and would not recommend them.

A great job ,done quickly and professionally by two lovely lads. Andy and Dave. Everything left clean and sparkling. Lantern roof next at a later date. Would recommend.

The handle to my front door failed locking me out of my home after 22 years of constant use. I rang Acorn windows and within 30 minutes James came to my rescue and opened the door for me,he then made an inspection of the door and recommended I should consider replacing the said front door. Having experienced the prompt and professional support given by Acorn I decided to purchase a new door. Acorn have lots of designs and colours to choose from but I eventually decided on a black composite door with red stain glass. It looks fantastic l am very pleased with my purchase. Acorn Windows were professional from start to finish. No pressured sales tactics, just clear, fair pricing and sensible discussions about what I wanted and how they could help me achieve this, including letting me design stain glass for the top lights myself to work with the door chosen and the style of the house. The windows were very well fitted. The fitters were excellent at explaining the window features and fitting so I am completely confident of their quality and the fitting process - which made a real change from the last firm I dealt with! This quality work included working really hard to ensure they could replace my original internal wood architrave round the new door! This was a real bonus, as I wasn't sure it would be possible. All the staff were polite and friendly, the fitters were also tidy and worked really hard to get the job finished, despite a few flurries of snow! The windows and door are beautiful and I have already had lots of complements on how good they look!

New to the area didn't know any of the trades, happened to see a vehicle with their name on the side of it. Gave them a call & from then on very impressed with everything, from the quote & the promptness of them being fitted. It was dreadful weather when they were fitted, but they made sure we were comfortable throughout. They cleaned up all the time & were very friendly, we were very impressed with all the windows & doors they replaced & would highly recommend them, so glad we saw their stripes vehicle that day, very pleased.

Ten years down the line, Acorn ordered replacement bathroom windows from their records. Phone call on the day before arrival, so I could ready the replacement. Job done, no mess, no issues, within 30 mins each. Again, exceptional work - no fuss - no mess. Why go anywhere else when you can get quality service like this? Brill again Acord! Thank you.

We asked Acorn to replace most of our old windows and two doors. Their quotation was almost identical to another quotation, so I am satisfied that the price was fair. From initial contact to the completion of the job, all their staff were polite, helpful and considerate. Acorn kept to its deadlines; a couple of small issues arose during the process but these were resolved very quickly and, in the end, the job was completed in accordance with the original timetable. We paid a bit more for strengthened low-emission glass and can only say that we are delighted with the result: the units look very smart, the fitters were efficient and clean - everything was properly tidied up - and the glass clearly does perform well for both temperature control and noise-reduction. It is early days (only a week or two since they finished) but, as things stand, we would happily use Acorn again.

From the moment we walked into the Wollaton showroom and spoke to your very helpful staff to the final fitting of our chosen front door by your courteous fitting team. Everything was carried out very professionally and we were always updated regarding appointment times which were always adhered to . Had new conservatory roof and "livin' room" pelmet, plastering, new points, lights etc. The standard was set when James Hibbert called to discuss and advise and was followed by the surveyor, installers, plasterer and electrician. We are delighted with the finished product and the service was second to none.

I used Acorn for a new back door and they did a fantastic job. The staff from start to finish are very friendly and efficient and everything was so easy. Everyone arrived on time, did the job to a very high standard and after it was finished everything was spotless. I can't recommend them enough if you need any of the products that they supply. From first meeting, through survey, base laying and installation I received everything I wanted for a difficult design porch/small conservatory to fit in the "corner" of my house. With self cleaning glass, tri-fold doors, entrance door and double glazing with integrated "Venetian" blinds my porch is perfect. I cannot recommend Acorn highly enough. Thanks Acorn

When Hope Nottingham (www.hopenottingham.org.uk) refurbished the premises to expand the work of their drop in cafe for vulnerable people hey needed double glazed doors to finish off the work and providing a warm and welcoming entrance. The funds were not available but Acorn responded to a request for help and the products they have installed has given us just the appearance we wanted but didn't think we would ever afford and all fited by a team for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Had a new door fitted by Acorn windows a year ago and what a great service we received from the first phone called to the completion. So when I lost my keys and needed a new lock they were the first choice to call and again I wasn't disappointed new looks fitted all with in an hour. Thank you to all the staff with in the company would definitely recommend this company to anyone. X

Despite not being local to Nottm (in Derbyshire) we chose Acorn having never used them before. Replaced an entire house of windows, French Doors, bay windows and the price for this high quality of product was largely as expected and very competitive. But the most important thing to note is that the pre sales service and the work of the Acorn Installers was spot on. Professional, smart and in branded workwear, courteous and friendly. And on time, every time! Well done Acorn - I would recommend you to anyone.

Disgusting communication and customer service from Acorn Windows, would not use this company again for any further work.I recently put an order in for the replacement of a patio door and kitchen window as part of a significant home improvement project. The project went very well, the replacement window and door from Acorn Windows were fraught with disaster. And problems of which I had to chase continuously With phone calls and taking time off work to wait in for. Even after complaining to James Hibbert and sending photos of his teams work there was no offer of an apology ! When we were researching the company a letter of commendation was found which was dated 29th February 2017, however it was written 30th March 2016! . It seems communication may be an issue.

Acorn Windows carried out some repair work on our living room and bedroom windows. Fantastic service, really pleased with their work, professionalism and outstanding service. Top marks!

Acorn Windows recently fitted some new windows for me. The salesman who initially came over was great - not pushy at all and very friendly. The fitters were brilliant - I've had a lot of trades people through the door over the years and these were among the best. The windows look great - a very modern finish which was just what I wanted. I did have a query about the frames themselves after the fitting and the company were faultless at making sure I was happy. I had eight different companies over for quotes because so many of them were terrible - I'm glad that I found Acorn Windows in the end!
