I contacted Active Plumbing and Heating as I always do, to arrange for a leaking outside tap to be replaced and for the boiler that Tom installed to be serviced. After the initial call to the company, I was emailed with dates/times that the jobs could be carried out. Once the work was booked I was sent reminder text messages regarding the scheduled works, which is very handy. The tap was replaced by one of the team, John, I was very pleased. Great service, he’s very friendly, knowledgeable and takes pride in what he does. Would definitely use Active Plumbing and Heating again, the job was completed on the day as expected, and would definitely recommend the company to others.

We needed a new boiler and replacement hot water tank plus a radiator upgrade. From the initial quote to job completion Tom and the team were brilliant Was not an easy job, over three floors and working in tight spaces. All the boys were extremely professional and also kind and caring. They not only looked after the house but looked after us as well and as we are what could be described as senior citizens this was great. Time was taken to explain the new system and, to us, very fancy online controls. Three weeks in and we love it all. Had a few settling-in tweaks which were also dealt with very promptly. Very happy indeed with everything and highly recommend Tom and the team.

Tom Sullivan from Active Plumbing and Heating answered my phone call in the evening when my boiler stopped working. He said he would come and look at my boiler problem in Chesham at 9am the next morning. Arrived right on time and diagnosed and fixed the problem. Very nice and professional person and not expensive. Highly recommend this company.

Excellent service My old oil fired boiler water jacket developed a leak and a new boiler was required. The company that normally serviced the boiler confirmed that a new boiler was the only option but they left me with water still coming out all over the floor. They couldn't drain the system down as they were "not allowed to". I called Tom for an estimate on a new boiler he responded very promptly and when he arrived at my home, he had no problem in draining down the system whilst the other company stood and watched. The estimate for the boiler soon arrived and I was happy with the amount quoted. The work was carried out soon after and Tom and his team did an excellent job of getting us up and running including sorting out some siting problems with the condensate pump. His team were helpful, cheerful and very tidy. We will certainly use them again.

John and Tom were very professional, reliable and lovely lads. I got my quote and my boiler fitted in a week at a very reasonable price and they listened to what we needed. All of the other quotes I received were over £1700 more expensive. Thank you so much.

At the beginning of November Active Plumbing and Heating installed a new Worcester boiler and hot water cylinder into our property. They also carried out a full power flush to our system and removed a feeder tank from the loft. As we were changing from a conventional boiler to a system boiler quite a bit of pipe work was involved. We were very pleased with the work carried out by Tom and his team (Connor and John) over the three days the work took and were impressed with the obvious expertise and attention to detail involved. The team were reliable, turning up when they said they would, and then getting on with the job in an industrious manner. The few hitches were soon sorted out and we now have a very good heating system, so much better than the one we had previously and the house is warm and toasty in time for the winter. Also plenty of hot water. My impression is that Active Plumbing and Heating are a highly professional, reliable and expert company and we would certainly use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Tom has been excellent. He helped us work through the problem we had (blocked pipes, broken under-flooring pipes and clogged pump) and worked diligently on resolving the issues once we agreed on the best course of action. I never felt "pushed" to agree to something or to spend more. Everything was very clear and executed on time.
