Tom, Connor and John have recently completed an en-suite for us. They did an outstanding job and we now have a beautiful modern sleek looking en-suite. The job was complicated but their communication was good throughout and the workmanship excellent, especially in attention to detail and adapting a unit to fit in front of a sloping ceiling. We thoroughly recommend them!

Mystery small wet patch appeared on living room ceiling. Called Tom and the crew. John arrived within 24 hrs and found the difficult-to-find leak. Leak was fixed within a day or so. This is a busy time for the team but they fitted us in cleverly. John worked until he had fixed the leak on Friday evening even though he was due to watch his team Brentford v Arsenal later. We got the leak stopped and Brentford won. Result! Thanks again Tom and the team.

Active Plumbing & Heating installed a new Combi Boiler. First time I have used this local company and all of the staff I came into contact with were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Communication was excellent through out experience . Initial visit from Tom, site visit - I found him to be very approachable, knowledgeable, helpful & polite - discussed boiler options and what would suit the property, what would happen during installation etc. Old boiler stopped working - date organised and as planned new combi boiler was installed, John, lead engineer was very knowledgeable, polite and approachable -he regularly updated me re how the install was going and answered all my queries. Installation completed as planned, tidied up and left house clean & tidy. No extra costs were added to agreed quote. Polite, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient team. Many thanks to Nikki who was also very helpful, communication excellent-I would definitely use this company again.

A bathroom lavatory cistern failed. Active Plumbing visited the same day and fixed the problem. A lavatory had to be removed from a wall, a part replaced and then the whole unit refitted. The work was carried out well and the bathroom left clean. The guys were pleasant and knew what they were doing. We have employed Active Plumbing for several years for regular CH and general plumbing maintenance, including fitting a new boiler and a new shower pump. Good work.

Finally, after around 50 years of good service, I had to replace my old oil fired boiler and I am delighted with the work that Tom's team did. It was a complicated task with much new pipe work, new hot water tank, chimney and much else. John and Connor were very efficient and friendly. It took four days to complete. My old boiler was donated to a college as a museum piece! I would certainly recommend Active Plumbing.

I contacted Active Plumbing and Heating as I always do, to arrange for a leaking outside tap to be replaced and for the boiler that Tom installed to be serviced. After the initial call to the company, I was emailed with dates/times that the jobs could be carried out. Once the work was booked I was sent reminder text messages regarding the scheduled works, which is very handy. The tap was replaced by one of the team, John, I was very pleased. Great service, he’s very friendly, knowledgeable and takes pride in what he does. Would definitely use Active Plumbing and Heating again, the job was completed on the day as expected, and would definitely recommend the company to others.

Called Tom at Active Plumbing for a Worcester-Bosch boiler service which was carried out quickly, efficiently and at great value. Chatting to Tom, he offered a couple of easy suggestions to improve out heating system which we delayed until March. John and young Tom carried-out the pressurisation of our then gravity-fed heating system in half a day. Pleased to say this is now much improved. Great value - thanks.

Coping with everything 2020 has thrown at me, including the passing of my wife, moving house and a completely different home environment, it was a breath of fresh air to find Tom and his Active Heating team. Tom and his team gave us a completely new heating system. Tom had planned it out thoroughly and kept us up to date throughout. Active Heating has high standards for their work which was really great. The whole team were really friendly and helpful throughout. Communication was good and work was done to schedule and on budget. Would definitely recommend.

At the beginning of November Active Plumbing and Heating installed a new Worcester boiler and hot water cylinder into our property. They also carried out a full power flush to our system and removed a feeder tank from the loft. As we were changing from a conventional boiler to a system boiler quite a bit of pipe work was involved. We were very pleased with the work carried out by Tom and his team (Connor and John) over the three days the work took and were impressed with the obvious expertise and attention to detail involved. The team were reliable, turning up when they said they would, and then getting on with the job in an industrious manner. The few hitches were soon sorted out and we now have a very good heating system, so much better than the one we had previously and the house is warm and toasty in time for the winter. Also plenty of hot water. My impression is that Active Plumbing and Heating are a highly professional, reliable and expert company and we would certainly use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Tom has been excellent. He helped us work through the problem we had (blocked pipes, broken under-flooring pipes and clogged pump) and worked diligently on resolving the issues once we agreed on the best course of action. I never felt "pushed" to agree to something or to spend more. Everything was very clear and executed on time.

Tom & team just serviced my Worcester CH boiler again, replaced two failing motorised valves & a leaking drain tap. As always on time, friendly, expert and knowledgeable, work was completed rapidly, efficiently, and at a fair price. These were the 5 & 6 jobs Tom & team have done for me, including new boiler install, CH overhaul, annual boiler services, and plumbing in my new kitchen. John and Tom were very professional, reliable and lovely lads. I got my quote and my boiler fitted in a week at a very reasonable price and they listened to what we needed. All of the other quotes I received were over £1700 more expensive. Thank you so much.

Excellent service My old oil fired boiler water jacket developed a leak and a new boiler was required. The company that normally serviced the boiler confirmed that a new boiler was the only option but they left me with water still coming out all over the floor. They couldn't drain the system down as they were "not allowed to". I called Tom for an estimate on a new boiler he responded very promptly and when he arrived at my home, he had no problem in draining down the system whilst the other company stood and watched. The estimate for the boiler soon arrived and I was happy with the amount quoted. The work was carried out soon after and Tom and his team did an excellent job of getting us up and running including sorting out some siting problems with the condensate pump. His team were helpful, cheerful and very tidy. We will certainly use them again.

Tom Sullivan from Active Plumbing and Heating answered my phone call in the evening when my boiler stopped working. He said he would come and look at my boiler problem in Chesham at 9am the next morning. Arrived right on time and diagnosed and fixed the problem. Very nice and professional person and not expensive. I called Tom as my boiler was very noisy and not performing as it should. He arrived on time and after diagnosing the problem, sourced and fitted two new parts. The system is now running as it should. He was friendly and kept me informed as to what he was doing. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Our radiators wouldn't heat up. Called Tom and explained what was happening. He said he had a good idea of what the problem was and would bring parts with him. Tom change a three way valve, checked & bleed all the radiators, in under an hour and we now have a lovely warm house!! Thank you Tom!

Tom was very prompt in responding to my request and very punctual. His advice on what to do saved me £2-3,000 and he solved the existing plumbing problem quickly and efficiently. In addition he has a very wide circle of network contacts, so he was able to recommend someone to replace the water supply pipe (to increase water pressure), someone to re-grout the bathroom tiles to ensure water-proofing and an electrician to replace the shower light - all of them first rate tradesmen. I recommend Tom very highly and would certainly use him again as my first choice.
