At ads computers we specialize in jargon free, friendly advise about repairs, upgrades and bespoke home and small business computers.
We especially cater for the first time buyer and PC novices. Any conversation about your requirements will be kept in plain English. We will not try and blind you with science as seems to be the trend with many PC resellers.
We only stock quality components from major manufacturers. We have learnt over the years that lesser, unbranded components, although a cheap alternative, will not be as reliable or long lasting. This policy has given us an excellent reputation for reliable systems.
Our systems are built with the future in mind, with plenty of scope for upgradeability should you later decide to expand your PC.
We can call at your home or business to carry out repairs, upgrades, install new components and set up broadband and wireless networking.

After being hacked I consulted ADS as they were Which? registered. I was able to take my computer in that day. They cleaned it and removed viruses and also installed firewall software. They were also able to advise us on our computer and network setup. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

My laptop needed repairing after it was dropped and caused a few problems which eventually got worse. I had to find someone to help as my usual computer business had closed and I came across Alistair of ADS Computers who actually lived very near to me. I phoned and explained and Alistair phoned me back right away and asked me to take laptop in which I did. I then had a phone call to explain to me exactly what he was going to do to repair it and replace my broken parts from a computer similar to mine which he had as due to Covid situation new parts were not available. I told him to go ahead and repair mine and also to put me internet security in as my security had just run out. 2 days later Alistair phoned me to say it was done. When I called to collect my laptop,Alistair fully explained to me what he had done. I am very pleased to say that I now have my laptop working as good as it was before I dropped it. I shall now continue to stay with ADS Computers in the future and am very glad that I have found them.

Excellent service from ADS Computers . Sent picture of fault, bizarre screen ,diagnosed quickly and priced for obtaining & fitting replacement screen.( found on inspection later by ADS to be cracked across screen ). Left laptop with them Tuesday afternoon.Spare part expected friday- in fact arrived Thursday, job finished Thursday lunchtime ready for collection .Great service

This trader provides a really wonderful service and without his support I would find it hard to manage. The service is friendly and rapid and totally trustworthy. We bought a computer from ADS computers 7 years ago and its still working very well especially considering its age! However I bought a laptop from another store 2 years ago and have it under the whatever happens/ care plan. It crashed not long ago and I needed to get the data off the it for my uni assignment. the store were far from helpful, stood chewing, gum blowing bubbles, didn't give any helpful advice or information and said it would take at least 14 days to sort IF they could (even thought I was under a 7 day repair policy). ADS computers were extremely helpful they had my computer turning back on and all my data back with in 2 days of me taking it to them, they were friendly, helpful, professional and were happy to get me completely up and running again. I would definitely choose to use ADS computers over other stores in the future. They offer many similar services for better value and are more honest and reliable than the other stores. What's more they are definitely more helpful and more concerned about looking after their customers needs too!

I have brought several computers from ADS including the keyboard and mouse and I have also had printers which they set up too. Alistair is brilliant,if you have a problem he will help, he is always happy to help. I have been using Alistair since 2007 he knows everything. ADS have also written a couple of guides which are helpful I am happy to recommend.

I have been using ADS computers for the past five years, They have been supplying computers to me and looking after servers and running my website. I have one of those systems where Alistair can control my computer from where he works. I found Alistair conscientious, utterly reliable and always goes above and beyond of his call of duty.
