I recently had Jason carry out work at my home to install a damp proof course where none previously existed, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, Jason demonstrated exceptional knowledge and truly outstanding workmanship. I had a cellar that was a little to damp for our liking. Jason first gave a phone consultation and suggested one approach. Unfortunately that approach didn't work due to the setup of the house so he suggested an alternate plan to install two telescopic ventilators. These were installed within a couple of weeks at a very reasonable price. He and his son are great and I would highly recommend them.

We needed some repointing work carried out on the NW side of the property. Excellent communication from Jason. Agreed a price and a date for the works. Arrived on time and carried out the repairs to a high standard. Very satisfied customer, would recommend and use again.

Jason and team recently installed an injected damp course and repointed some brickwork at my new home. Jason was courteous, professional, and did a great job. Jason took the time to take a through set of photos and videos of his work and even added some extra touches to ensure the house was fully watertight during his visit. What stuck out to me most was his genuine care and honesty, which can be in short supply these days. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone and look forward to benefitting from his expertise again in the future.

After years of fighting with damp both inside and out, I finally searched the web after having a baby to get the problem solved asap. I came across Jason and his team who responded quickly to investigate the cause and what work needed to be done, the timeframe and the cost. Jason visited in late October and undertook the damp proofing work in early December. Turned up when he said he would, was courteous and polite. Did a very professional job - explained what he was doing and why. Was neat, clean and tidy. Apologised that he couldn’t get the perfect plaster finish due to the cramped space and the presence of pipes. When I looked - he’d done a fantastic job. Jason and his son carried out a variety of damp work inside and outside our house, to a very high standard and at a competitive rate. Jason made it very clear from the outset the cost of the work that needed doing and kept to that cost. Jason has been amazing at finding solutions for damp/condensation and leak problems. He has arranged a PIV system, repaired a flat roof and resolved dampness in a fire place hearth. He is highly recommended.

We used Jason and team to tank two rooms in our old Victorian house, we were really struggling with damp. We have a dog that isn't great with strangers, so we actually had to vacate while the work was being done. Given that Jason and team were Which? trusted traders we felt much better about this. The communication around the work was great, we were sent lots of update photos while we were away. The 'after care' support was also incredibly helpful, as we went on to have some additional work done and Jason had no issues supporting me with any questions, ensuring nothing would impact the work he had done. I have already recommend Jason and team to other neighbors and they would be my first check point for any work that needs to be done in the future. I felt the cost of the work was very reasonable, and we were very happy with the way that the house was left!

I was in desperate need of a damp survey for my buyer”s lender and found the company on the Which website. I contacted Jason and same day I managed to secure an appointment, which was within 2 days. Jason was professional and I cannot believe how honest he was, compared to other companies who were a complete rip off. I was given sound advice and Jason did the educational piece by clearly articulating issues, how it happened and suggested cost effective solutions. I wish I had found Jason before. Jason made an assessment on the internal and external parts of the house and took moisture readings. His prices are very reasonable compared to other companies I was looking at. The quote for the remediation work was also very reasonable, something I will be going for. I also received a detailed professional report within 2 days. If you have any damp related issues at home you can do no better than get in touch with Advance Construction Solutions. Jason and team were very responsive and quickly identified the root cause. The solution involved injecting a new DPC into brickwork, repointing, a new sand and cement waterproof plinth and the sealing of some external brickwork. The work was undertaken on time and budget. Jason was keen to keep us informed of progress on the day and there was no way they were going to leave site without us being completely satisfied with the work undertaken first - an excellent customer service approach! This is the second time Advance Construction Solutions have undertaken work for us and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I'm very pleased with the work that Jason did. He was very personable, gave excellent advice and did a really smart, professional job in a reasonable timescale. He went the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied with the results and that the area was left clean and tidy. The work was completed for the amount quoted and he was also kind enough to do a couple of small related extra jobs for free - which was much appreciated. I can thoroughly recommend Jason, as he has recently completed a soundproofing project in my home, and has also replaced the ceiling in my shower. When I first contacted him I was impressed by his obvious knowledge of the subject, and his suggestions as to what could be done. He is happy to answer any queries, turns up when he says he is going to, and always returns your calls. He has a very pleasant, friendly personality, and instils confidence. His work is excellent and I would definitely use him in the future on any project.

I found Jason on this website and made contact with him after reading the reviews. He got back to me straight away, was courteous and super helpful, and came round to look at the work and give me a quote. Because he is understandably popular he couldn’t start my work for 3 months, but he gave me an exact date he could start the work and he stuck to it. He also quoted me for everything upfront, and always stuck to budget. He was very honest and told me if he didn’t think something was necessary, and also helpfully pointed out a few things I hadn’t noticed that were necessary. I left my house keys out for Jason each day (I was at work) as I knew I could trust him completely. He went above and beyond to kindly help me with a couple of extra things that popped up whilst he was at mine doing the agreed work. He knows about everything, particularly ventilation and damp. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and will be calling him again in the future for anything else I need! Top bloke, and great to chat to as well! Things he did for get included.. - resurfacing a flat roof (resin paint) - new guttering - new airbricks - installed a ventilation system - got scaffolding up and resealed a leaking chimney plus painted the side of the house with storm dry - sorted out a huge crack in my chimney breast & rendered it after too Many other jobs on my shopping list of issues too. The party wall in one room suffered from rising damp to a height of around 30cms. The work carried out was an injection of waterproofing solution into the brickwork, cement rendering infused with resin and a top coat of plaster. After 5 weeks the work is showing no trace of damp penetration and has effectively cured the problem. Other work was being carried out at the time and there was a lot of building dust and dirt on the floor and other surfaces. Despite this Jason made a very creditable job in clearing up after himself. He also advised on other aspects of work being carried out by myself which I found invaluable. The work was carried out to time and budget with no onsite issues. A generous and very helpful individual whose work I would recommend.

He was friendly and polite, explained all of his findings openly and transparently before providing a rough idea of price for works. I had some damp at a property that needed to be dealt with urgently. From the first contact with Jason he was a total professional and I only found him because of some excellent previous reviews so took a chance. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process, Jason did what he said he would and to top it he did an incredible job - his plaster work after fixing the damp in my lounge was outstanding, you'd never know there had been a problem, the word 'meticulous' springs to mind. He also installed some air bricks for me and put a waterproof surround outside the house as water was draining down from the garden. A total professional, totally honest and the job was very well priced. Cannot recommend him highly enough, he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
