I am John Kilkenny t/a Advanced Clean. I was awarded the 2012 Which? Local National Business of the Year, this has now become Which Trusted Trader, for my professional, value for money service and for giving my customers the best possible cleaning results. Since then I have received nearly 400 first class reviews on the trustedtrader.which.co.uk site. I also have nearly 400 first class reviews on Checkatrade.com This is something that I take great pride in that customers actually take time and effort to post a review for the quality of service that I provide. I cover most of North, North West and North East London, extending into South Hertfordshire and bordering Essex

Once again I used Advanced Clean and was provided again with a first class service. John cleaned a lots of carpets in rooms/hallways/stairs, as well as rugs and some chairs. My daughter managed to get marker pen over our light-coloured living room carpet. I like to keep my house pristine and this certainly made me feel stressed! I contacted John and he responded very promptly. Within 48 hours he had come to our property, and successfully removed the marks. A great service and I will always turn to him in the future for carpet and upholstery cleaning services.

John cleaned our carpets for us after building work. He was very easy to work with, and open and upfront about which stains might be lifted out of our very old and well worn carpet. We were working to quite tight timescales and John was very helpful in finding a time that worked for us. The service, quality and value were all great. John talked us through exactly what he was doing, and completed the job really neatly and our carpet now looks lovely - a huge improvement! Thank you!

I was very impressed with Advanced Clean's service. I received a response within 2 hours of reaching out on a Saturday, followed by a clear call with John and a prompt quote. My carpet was cleaned within 3 days of my initial inquiry — fast, professional, and highly efficient service. John was friendly, professional, and clear in setting expectations. Despite some tough stains, the carpet came out looking nearly brand new. As this is a rental property, the clean saved me the cost of replacement. The carpet clean was carried out after John visited my home to provide a quote for the work to be carried out. The quote was clear and also competitive for the work involved as my carpets and rugs needed a thorough clean. John arrived on time and was helpful too. I've used John before. I wanted all rooms, bar kitchen and bathroom cleaned. Stayed almost the entire day to get the job done. He managed to remove melted rubber from the carpet (VHS tape lodged in machine - me being too clever!). He tried to fix the burnt carpet (candles, since disposed of). He even offered to fix the broken rubber seal at front door. Truly appreciated his valiant efforts. Cleaned the front room sofa and thoroughly cleaned all of the rooms including moving around furniture to gain better access. His kit is professional grade and his knowledge of cleaning solvents 2nd to none! Worth everypenny!

He completed cleaning our three piece suite then our lounge carpet and also our hall carpet which he did as an extra with no charge. Once again I have found Advanced Clean to provide our church with a first class service. Four carpets of varying size were cleaned and some additional hard surface areas. In addition to the successful removal of obstinate stains some extra mats were cleaned free of charge. I would certainly recommend this business.

John cleaned our carpets and upholstery a few years ago so, when we recently had a badly stained carpet, we had no hesitation in asking him back. As before he did an excellent job. He removed all the stains and also made some old rugs look brighter and fresher. John is pleasant to have in the house and doesn't make promises he can't keep.

I did not like the cleaning of my carpet. The main purpose to hire Advanced clean is to get rid of stains. Unfortunately, it is not up to the mark, as mentioned in most of the reviews. Nothing much changed with the looks of carpet, lots of dark patches visible. It was not quite impressive for the price of £125 to clean the area of the living room and the passage.

John has cleaned our fitted carpets, rugs and a sofa twice. On both occasions he turned up promptly and worked hard to complete the job in a day. He explains what is achievable (eg dark marks on fitted carpets around skirting boards are pretty much permanent), uses quality products and does a great job. He's also a pleasure to have around, with a good sideline in conversation. His charges seem reasonable and there are no hidden extras.
