I, like many, googled replacement windows: AGS came up and even though it meant they had to travel further than maybe they would normally, there was no quibble. Andy was fantastic - especially when baby brain couldn’t compute the prices; Ella replied to emails quickly and helpfully and the chaos that came to fit the windows worked well as a team and were so professional. They even showed me how to open the windows for cleaning (I won’t be doing that - we have a man) - all in all, an excellent trader from start to finish. And the price was good too!

AGS were excellent from start to finish. My partner and I decided we needed to replace all of the windows (4 windows and a large 3 section bay window) in our flat due to the poor heat and noise insulation. I spoke to John over the phone on a number of occasions and his knowledge and expertise were fantastic. The quote was somewhat pricier than some other like-for-like quotes I had gathered, but with such a large bay window I wanted to ensure the work would be carried out to a very high standard. John answered all of my queries and made me feel confident that AGS were the right people for the job. The installation was completed in a single day, and after completion, it's apparent that you get what you pay for. My partner and I are extremely happy with the quality of the windows and the attention to detail in the finishing that the installers had. We had one minor hiccup where the glass for our bathroom wasn't frosted as requested when the survey was carried out, but this was addressed and sorted immediately by John and Julie. After the new glass had been ordered an installer returned to the property in 2 weeks and fitted it in about 10 minutes. Everyone that I communicated with - John, Peter, Julie, Simone and Ella - were very friendly, polite and professional; providing a fantastic level of customer service that you hope for when spending quite a significant amount of money on a fairly large home improvement. AGS have just renewed all our windows and doors apart from the front door which we’d had done a couple of years ago. We would definitely recommend AGS. Andy’s quote was straightforward with no messing about and didn’t take hours like some companies. Once we’d accepted the quote the surveyor came to measure up, everything was ordered and we very quickly had an installation date. The installation team arrived early on the planned day and worked hard. The job was finished in three days as promised at the beginning even though three panes of glass had broken at the depot - these were ordered and arrived in time to be installed without the job being delayed. The team were friendly, worked hard and cleared up very well each day. We were impressed with the attention to detail given to the job.

The service from start to finish was extremely professional and each person from the company was very friendly and made us feel like a valued customer. We were after a colour that was about to be removed from manufacture and Tyler did his utmost to make sure we had the door ordered in time. The installation was quick, problem free and they even created a fascia at the top of the door that matched. The door looks amazing, and we have been getting many compliments. The windows were also replaced extremely quickly. We are very happy with the service from AGS and would highly recommend them!

We had a new composite door fitted and repairs to existing double glazing. We paid a good price but got an outstanding service. Expert friendly advice, very helpful and patient while we chose the right product. The office team are also very efficient and kept us fully informed. The work was done on budget and on schedule. We are very pleased with the result, very tidy finish and solid door that looks great and fits well. Not a big job for them but we got top quality service. It is a local family business and that shows in their desire to maintain a good reputation.

Once Andy and Tyler walked through the front door I sensed professionalism. My wife and I talked through what we would like installed, being 5 windows and a new front door, all in uPVC and the windows being sash. Andy explained everything from the window design, a sample, to how best the installation could be done, clarifying with his surveyor on the phone whilst with us. The date for install was set and met and the installation completed in 2 days. The work was brilliant, the mess, non existent. The guys cleaned up as if they'd never been here. Brilliant company and highly recommended

I would highly recommend Advanced Glazing to anyone. From the first call to get a quote, to the survey and finally to the fitting and payment/accounts, everyone I dealt with were personable, friendly, professional and courteous. And the final job was done to a high standard - they even left the house pretty spotless, which is always a bonus. They were also very competitively priced and felt much better going to an independent, family business.

I required 9 windows and 2 doors to be replaced. The initial visit to quote, was non pressurised, yet informative. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the finished product was very good, and at the agreed price. The installation over 2 days entailed concern to minimise the effects on myself, and ensuring things were cleared and cleaned prior to departure. Post installation, their maintenance booklet is very useful.

We have now used AGS for two separate jobs; Bifold doors, lantern and a few windows were installed 3 years ago, we were then happy to use AGS again two years later to install new windows in three bays and a few other windows. The majority of windows and doors were installed with internal blinds. On both occasions, the installers worked efficiently and skilfully and tidied up after they finished. For both jobs AGS were very professional and friendly, they kept appointments and never let us down. A year or so after installation there was a small issue that AGS had to be contacted for, they attended the following day to address the problem with no fuss. I thought it best to wait a while after installation to leave this review to see how the product and AGS performed. As you can probably tell from my comments, we are very happy with both and have recommended to a few friends and colleagues.

The replacement UPVC double glazing units for the front and back of our house totalled 11 units, including porch doors, flat and bay windows, and a back door. The work was completed in 5 days by Carl and Jordan, who work well together, and were professional in ensuring a quality job with the minimum of intrusion. They responded rapidly to an unforeseen problem when taking out one of the old windows. From the commencement of our enquiry to the company, we found the responses from Andy Barnett to be concise and prompt, and in the administration department, Ella was knowledgeable and friendly. A well-run and efficient family business, who put service and quality (at a reasonable price) first, and they are worthy of being a Which Trusted Trader. Thank you and well done. First contact: Phones are answered promptly by polite, efficient, knowledgable members of staff. I found their prices very competitive. The products are good quality. The surveyor and fitter did an excellent job, making good all areas and even vacuuming up the small amount of mess, 1st class.

AGS patiently waiting and supported for several months while I painstakingly got planning permission to replace my windows (due to an edge case in planning law). They then respected their original quote, and installed my windows within a few months. This included having the scaffolding up and down in a week, to avoid antagonising the ground floor flat, as well as allowing my builder access to the scaffolding to drill an external hole. The windows were smart and energy efficient, with a couple of minor issues that were quickly addressed.

From the very first contact with AGS to the installation the level of service has been outstanding. I don't like recommending companies to people usually through fear of others not having the same experience and it then reflecting badly on me but I have no concerns of that with AGS. I'm so pleased with their service and products I will be using them for the bi folds and roof lights on my proposed extension. It's the attention to detail and anything to help attitude that makes the real difference, backed up with great products. Really impressed.

Very happy to recommend AGS. The quality of their manufacture and installation is top notch, and their after-sales service is fantastic. We had a couple of things that needed repairing several years after installation, and they sorted everything out, under warrantee, free of charge, without fuss and with prompt and friendly service. We’d been looking for a really classy looking front door for our house. The team at AGS really listened to what we wanted and showed us a number of different options while explaining the pros and cons of each type of door. They talked us through the whole process and kept us informed of all the details and when we should expect installation. The installation was excellent with the installer really taking his time to make sure that all the locking mechanisms were smooth and easy for us to use. All in all a great service and experience and we would fully recommend them to anyone thinking about using them.

All new doors and windows fitted. We found this company excelled in all services it provided. We had spent several weeks asking numerous questions about product design, efficiency, alternatives such as acoustics and laminate glass, size, design, seals and gaskets, trickle vents, creasing tiles, door handles and locking mechanisms. The company was very patient answering all our inquiries, was able to provide detailed information to support quality of products so that we could check for our peace of mind. Installation was very efficient and staff courteous and professional. Work carried out to agreed schedule and accommodated our own work commitments. All completed within budget and no hidden costs. What we were particularly pleased about was accommodating our special request to have our kitchen window sprayed black on the inside whilst remaining white on the outside, which is not standard and required third party involvement which the window company dealt with directly. In summary, we would highly recommend this long established family company who really go the extra mile to ensure a first class experience.
