We are a respected, multi-award winning and recognised specialist in the fields of Damp proofing, Cellar Tanking, Basement Waterproofing, Condensation control and the installation of Timber Preservation treatments to eradicate fungal decay and wood boring insects such as Woodworm or Dry rot. We were worried about a damp patch on our wall and called in APL for advice. The surveyor assured us that the problem was not as serious as we had thought and advised us of the work required. After a long wait for another builder to do the job, we returned to APL. It took a while to arrange a date for the work but when the date was fixed the job was carried out with professionalism and we were kept informed at every stage. Thank you.

Advanced Preservations recently did some damp proofing and fitting of a small length of ACO drain for us. Over the past twenty years they have done various works for us. Some have been quite simple, but other work has been quite significant. They are always pleasant and easy to work with, and the work is done to a high standard. Just as importantly, in a 'mature' house like ours, any building work, once started, is likely to throw up an occasional surprise and Advanced Preservations have always taken this in their stride, dealing with any issues in a flexible and fair way.

Our garage kept flooding every time it rained and was starting to damage the walls and our belongings. We called Advance Preservations to see if they could help. From the beginning, the service provided was very professional. They explained clearly what work was needed, which was to build a water drain system, tank the walls and how each step would be completed. It was fascinating to watch. Clearly each of the members of staff are really skilled at their part in the work and they all made it stress free and tidy as they worked. They were all lovely and friendly and answered my questions as the job went on. The finish on the rendering is so smooth! Really impressed and so happy with the finished result.

Guys who did the work were excellent - polite, informed me of progress and what was happening, left site clean and tidy. Task - tanking part of garage to prevent damp and water entering. Proof that solution has worked will be in the winter months if there are no signs of dampness in that corner of the garage. Thank you a great job. PS I have no idea of going rate so hence 3 star rating on value. I was just extremely pleased to get the work done and more or less on time.

A ship is only as good as it’s Captain and I have to say that your crew were amazing, from the young lady who answers the phone to the very patient floor replacer, Neil, they only showed me courtesy and patience. Nick the surveyor is an absolute gentleman, professional reassuring, just what a pensioner with anxiety problems needs. The plasterer was mesmerising and worked like a true artisan, tidying and cleaned up beautifully everyday. In this day and age such a team behind you must be very reassuring as they were for me from the day they started. Everything that you put in your contract you stood firmly by. I appreciate it all.

We used Advanced Preservations for a basement waterproofing project and have used them for subsequent regular pump maintenance. The company was very professional throughout, with much attention to detail. As it was a major disruption for us, all the personnel tried their utmost to minimise the inconvenience and it was a pleasure to have them on site. The timekeeping was excellent and schedules were adhered to. We considered the cost involved to be reasonable and a good investment long term due to the high quality workmanship and products and materials used.

The building is a student residence in Hackney and was refurbished 35 years ago. We had patches of damp in the basement storage areas showing that the original damp proofing was failing. Advanced Preservations were very helpful from beginning to end of working out how to best repair the waterproofing, offering us an affordable and fair service especially considering we are a charity. Their suggestions met our needs rather than the company trying to sell us a much larger job we couldn't really afford. The engineers worked very well under horrible conditions of dust and were always really polite and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves really well and were obviously trustworthy. When the next bit of the house falls apart we will be in touch!

The work involved a careful, two stage exploration of the cause of water ingress in a beautifully finished residential property. Not only did Advanced Preservations Ltd find the source of water ingress (where others had not) but they were also able to tell us, with supporting evidence, the extent of the damage. They then recommend a sensible methodology for rectifying the problem. In addition to this latest work, they have also completed basement waterproofing jobs on two other occasions. The projects involved the use of a membrane system (one with pumps). Both buildings were listed and required extra care. I have attended site for significant periods whilst they have carried out their work and have been impressed by the attention to detail by their knowledgeable and helpful staff. In appointing them initially I took up references and spoke to others in their industry and they have a very good reputation. Their work for us has been exemplary. This is a sector where if the work is not done properly, the repercussions can be horrendous. I would always choose to use Advanced Preservations for damp proofing or waterproofing work.

Can't praise this company more, never known builders to be so clean & tidy. They had to carry rubbish all through the house and was no evidence of this. Everything was protected so not to damage the house & all the garden was washed down. Very impressed! Very polite men, can't praise them enough.
