Andy and Tim have done several jobs for us over the last 12 years, including fitting a new boiler. On this occasion we had been experiencing problems with our heating not switching off. A faulty part was identified and ordered, and a date made for replacement. In the meantime our hot water failed as a result of the same faulty part, so the appointment was brought forward and fixed quickly. Andy and Tim always keep appointments, carry out the agreed work, and leave the areas clean and tidy. We trust them to prioritise their workload so as to rank the importance of individual customer jobs.

AGW Gas recently fitted a new boiler in our home. From the moment they attended to assess the fault they were professional and courteous and clearly knew their trade extremely well. A quote was provided the next day and work scheduled to take place on 25/09/2024 - communication was top notch and they arrived on time as planned. The team were professional, neat and tidy and completed the job on time. They left the area just as they found it and disposed of all waste/rubbish. Overall we cannot fault the service provided and would highly recommend AGW for any heating and plumbing needs.

Andy, Tim and Stewart designed and installed a new bathroom for me which included removing all the old fixtures and fittings including the bath and replaced with walk-in shower, furniture and flooring all to a very high standard. Quick response to quote for removal of old CH system and replace with Worcester combi boiler. Work completed in 2 days to our complete satisfaction. They removed the old gas boiler etc. from the airing cupboard and installed a combi boiler. They fitted new thermostat valves on all the radiators. They removed all the rubbish from the site. They were hard working and polite and tried to keep things as tidy as they could, putting sheeting down the stairs etc. We were happy with the estimate, and they took two days to do it all. They took their time to explain to me how to work the new system. There were a couple of issues which needed attention afterwards and they came back without hesitation to fix it.

I recently came downstairs to find my old Potterton boiler leaking water. I immediately phoned this company, who attended within the hour to assess the problem and make the appliance safe. A new boiler was required and I received an estimate the following day for the work required, which I accepted. A new condensing boiler was fitted within 48 hours. The fitters were hard-working, polite, and tidy workers who disposed of the rubbish after finishing the job. I have no hesitation in recommending AGW Gas & Plumbers.

I was very impressed with AGW when I had a boiler problem, Andy was able to fit me in very quickly and sorted it out (blocked condenser), and then when I had a leak from the waste pipe, Tim came and did a great job with the repiping and also gave me very helpful advice. Would definitely use again.

I’m delighted I’ve found AGW - Andy the owner is great ; I don’t think there’s anything he and his team can not do! I’ve just had a lovely new boiler fitted by Tim and his apprentice. Lovely people, extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, clean & tidy, hard working, very compatible priced and a joy to have around….what more could you want?! I had my cloakroom refitted by AGW in July and was very pleased with the result. Andy came up with some good ideas to fit the space, with the emphasis being on quality. Everything was installed to a high standard by Tim, who is clearly very competent and experienced. I soon learnt to trust his judgement and he left the room looking very smart and presentable. If you need new cloakroom or bathroom fittings, I recommend this company.

I cannot recommend Andy highly enough. Sorted our central heating and hot water problems out, before spending time giving us advice on boiler replacement or repair on the 13th of February 2023. We went for a replacement. Received his quotation on the evening of the 13th. We made an appointment for Monday 20th. Andy and his mate arrived at 0800 and fitted a new boiler. By 16.00 they had gone having cleaned up, pressure tested the system and given us working instructions. They had removed the old boiler, Hoovered, and left no rubbish at all. The only evidence of them ever being here was a new boiler. After some "plumber" experiences over the last few years. Andy is a revelation. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you, see you for service in twelve months.

Our boiler was playing, hot water was only lukewarm. Andy replied within minutes to my initial enquiry and gave good support to diagnose the problem. This was followed up the next working day to confirm the problem and a quote received that evening. The work was scheduled and completed a few days later. Tim carried out the installation, arriving just after 8am as agreed. The work was carried out competently and Tim kept me informed of the progress. He took time to fully explain the boiler controls and the smart thermostat. Finally the area was cleaned up, rubbish taken away and he even helped me put the fridge back in place below the new boiler. Why can’t all contractors be this good?

Our boiler gave out during a cold snap. Andy was very responsive and even though he had commitments he managed to come and check our boiler on the same day of contact. He managed to secure a new boiler very quickly and we agreed a reasonable price before the works started, the boiler was fitted the next day. Both Andy and Tim - the engineer who fitted the boiler - were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I will definitely be using them in the future for all our gas and plumbing needs. I am absolutely delighted with the refurbishment of my en-suite. Andy was extremely helpful with the planning and selection of fittings, all I had to do was choose the paint colour. Tim and team did a magnificent job; they were professional and obviously experienced with all the tasks involved. All rubbish was removed leaving my house spick and span.
