I had my cloakroom refitted by AGW in July and was very pleased with the result. Andy came up with some good ideas to fit the space, with the emphasis being on quality. Everything was installed to a high standard by Tim, who is clearly very competent and experienced. I soon learnt to trust his judgement and he left the room looking very smart and presentable. If you need new cloakroom or bathroom fittings, I recommend this company.

I was very impressed with AGW when I had a boiler problem, Andy was able to fit me in very quickly and sorted it out (blocked condenser), and then when I had a leak from the waste pipe, Tim came and did a great job with the repiping and also gave me very helpful advice. Would definitely use again.

I recently came downstairs to find my old Potterton boiler leaking water. I immediately phoned this company, who attended within the hour to assess the problem and make the appliance safe. A new boiler was required and I received an estimate the following day for the work required, which I accepted. A new condensing boiler was fitted within 48 hours. The fitters were hard-working, polite, and tidy workers who disposed of the rubbish after finishing the job. I have no hesitation in recommending AGW Gas & Plumbers.

They removed the old gas boiler etc. from the airing cupboard and installed a combi boiler. They fitted new thermostat valves on all the radiators. They removed all the rubbish from the site. They were hard working and polite and tried to keep things as tidy as they could, putting sheeting down the stairs etc. We were happy with the estimate, and they took two days to do it all. They took their time to explain to me how to work the new system. There were a couple of issues which needed attention afterwards and they came back without hesitation to fix it.

Quick response to quote for removal of old CH system and replace with Worcester combi boiler. Work completed in 2 days to our complete satisfaction. The engineer worked really hard, felt complete confidence in him, all the rubbish was removed and the house left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Andy, Tim and Stewart designed and installed a new bathroom for me which included removing all the old fixtures and fittings including the bath and replaced with walk-in shower, furniture and flooring all to a very high standard. AGW Gas recently fitted a new boiler in our home. From the moment they attended to assess the fault they were professional and courteous and clearly knew their trade extremely well. A quote was provided the next day and work scheduled to take place on 25/09/2024 - communication was top notch and they arrived on time as planned. The team were professional, neat and tidy and completed the job on time. They left the area just as they found it and disposed of all waste/rubbish. Overall we cannot fault the service provided and would highly recommend AGW for any heating and plumbing needs.

Andy turned up on time to service boiler and fit 3 new valves. All done in a quick time with no mess. Found Andy to be friendly and reliable, would definitely use again for any plumbing work.

Andy and Tim have done several jobs for us over the last 12 years, including fitting a new boiler. On this occasion we had been experiencing problems with our heating not switching off. A faulty part was identified and ordered, and a date made for replacement. In the meantime our hot water failed as a result of the same faulty part, so the appointment was brought forward and fixed quickly. Andy and Tim always keep appointments, carry out the agreed work, and leave the areas clean and tidy. We trust them to prioritise their workload so as to rank the importance of individual customer jobs.

Andy and Tim are top-notch bathroom and kitchen renovators. This is the 6th big job (kitchens and bathrooms) they have done for me over the past 20 years. I always use them because of the high quality of the design, the recommendations about materials, the high standard of workmanship and finish, as well as the fact that they are so clean and tidy during the job, and they both are very friendly and pleasant personalities. For this job, despite always being busy, they fitted my job in due to my need to have a walk-in shower fitted prior to a hip replacement operation. They removed the old tiling, bath and flooring, and installed a full-length shower tray and screen, shower and controls, grab rails and fully shower boarded the room with new flooring, re-installing the vanity and toilet, leaving the shower room completely transformed from the original 12-year-old bathroom. I now have a fully functional, clean and modern shower room that fits in with the rest of the decor in my modern apartment. I am so happy with the final result. All of the work was completed on time and on budget, and no problems were encountered, if there were, they solved them. Andy and Tim work as a wonderful team, they are both really helpful, left my apartment clean and tidy at the end of each day's work, kept me updated about the work, what would happen the next day, removed all of the rubbish and contacted me after completion, to see how I was enjoying my new bathroom. 5 stars, brilliant.

Following a recent boiler upgrade, we now wanted to improve on both the look and efficiency of existing 30-year-old plus, radiators. We knew roughly the style we wanted so with Andy's help to make sure they were of the right size and specification for our system, we booked an installation date. Tim and Ben did the work to a very high standard and we are very satisfied with the outcome. Installation was carried out with minimum fuss and completed on the day arranged. Having also used them for two previous boiler upgrades in family properties, we can highly recommend the services of AGW Gas & Plumbing Services and have found them to be honest, diligent and competitively priced.

Great work by AGW! The old boiler and radiators were taken away, and new ones were fitted. New water pipes, gas pipes and vents. Tim and Ben did a great job, and our house is much warmer than before. I needed my boiler, thermostat, and a new bath pop-up plug fitted. Tim and Ben did an excellent job — my boiler now runs quietly, the house feels much warmer, and the thermostat is dependable. They were a pleasure to have around, and when they left, it was as if they hadn’t even been there. The work was highly professional, and I’m thrilled with the result.

AGW carried out a complete refit and upgrade of our gas central heating system. They fitted a new boiler, cylinder and all new system controls and electronics replacing several radiators and tidying scruffy original new build pipework as well. It is all working well and we were even able to leave them to it for several days while we went away to avoid an unheated home in November. We returned to a beautifully warm, clean and tidy house almost as if they had not been there. Couldn't ask for better. Andy was really helpful and informative throughout.

In my hour of need, I called Andy for an estimate. He responded quickly and called within the same day. Later he sent me an e-mail with an estimate. He offered to fit a replacement within 48 hrs. Two days later at 8am both he and Ben arrived. At the same time, the delivery van arrived with the ordered boiler and parts required. Having not much room for two men to work he left me in Ben’s very capable hands. Ben worked tidily and efficiently to carry out the work completing and testing the work just before 5 o’clock the same day. I would thoroughly recommend AGW and his team to anyone. Having worked myself in the same industry I recognised the true professional way everything was done.

My boiler was blowing fuses and started failing during the coldest snap of the year on Monday 6th January. I changed the fuse a few times in the boiler spur, but something was clearly very wrong. I emailed AGW on Monday via their web contact page. I got a telephone call within 3 hours which I was super impressed with and a visit from Tim and Andy the same afternoon to look at a solution. They offered me a cheap fix which would have tided us over for a while, without being too expensive. I decided however that I'd like to have the boiler replaced as it was 15 years old. We also discussed the suitability of an air source heat pump, but the microbore pipework didn't lend itself well to such, so opted for an efficient gas boiler instead. Work was booked in for the Friday, however, Andy went the extra mile and came midweek to fit a new immersion element into our boiler to get us some hot water. The old immersion wasn't working at all and we had cold water AND a cold house until he replaced that. The new boiler was fitted as per being booked in on the Friday and there were three engineers on site all working throughout the day. They did a great job and were highly professional throughout, I couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of guys. A slight issue cropped up where the boiler errored on Saturday morning. Tim came within an hour and sorted it; the condensate pipe was blocked likely due to food build up in the kitchen sink drain, so my fault! Fixed in 5 mins! I'm a super happy customer.

AGW have been servicing our boiler for years and when it finally came to the end of its natural life. They came to replace it. Not only did they replace our old boiler but ensured everything was up to date by adding legislative items to ensure safety and efficiency of the new boiler. Respectful of our living space, clean and tidy. Easy to book and providing a great service with trusted products and friendly engineers. Highly recommend AGW.

I’d contacted a couple of local firms after my boiler are provider let me down following a boiler. A couple didn’t return my calls and another was busy for a few days. I had no hot water and heating so Andy kindly agreed to attend my property and check the boiler on the day I rang. Whilst the boiler was beyond repair he quoted me for a good quality boiler and some associated work within a day of attending which I was really impressed with. His team replaced the boiler the following week and everything was completed to a high standard. Excellent and honest response and I would highly recommend.
