Paul has been a Master Locksmith for over 39 Years, apprenticed trained (5 years) from the age of 16.

Paul not only fitted a new lock but also realigned the plates on the door frame: the locking mechanism on the door now operates very smoothly. He also gave some great advice on how to reduce wear and tear on locks. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul for his excellent service and skills.

Paul made a big effort to help our elderly neighbour who had lost her front door and porch keys. He came quickly, fitted three locks and was friendly, professional and patient with her. He offered good value and replaced previous shoddy work as sadly the locksmith sector is not regulated! He even called later to suggest a retracting belt key ring for her future use. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending him, a very nice and experienced person.

Faulty UPVC back door

We have used other Which Trusted Traders previously, and found them to be excellent. Paul was no exception. Our UPVC back door had several faults and Paul discussed these with me before starting. He arrived when he said he would arrive, did what he said he would do, and charged what he said he would charge. Very professional – neat and tidy too. When he had finished and tidied up, he gave us some useful advice on how to prevent problems in the future. We are delighted with his work.

We reached out to Paul a day before picking up the keys to our new property and he was able to accommodate us and come the next day to change the locks. We sent him photos of the existing locks via WhatsApp and within minutes he had provided a competitive quote explaining the difference in the types of locks we can get. He arrived promptly on time and completed the change of two locks within an hour! As a bonus, he gave us loads of advice and recommendation of how to secure our home which went beyond locks! He also takes cards! Highly recommended if you need a locksmith in West London!

High security Yale lock jammed in locked position. Arrived on time, opened the lock, fitted replacement, tidied up, explained throughout what needed doing and why and what it would cost, and how to maintain the new lock in good condition. All done to high standard. Local, long established business. Thought overall price was reasonable.

Paul came and replaced two locks on our front door, (including one that had been badly botched by a previous "locksmith") liberated a bike shackled to a wall due to the failure of a chain lock and gave great advice and service saving me a few quid into the bargain. Despite us being a bit off his usual turf he made the journey twice . He was professional, friendly, very knowledgable and had some great stories too. The job was completed with the minimum of mess and at a very reasonable price. I can't recommend him highly enough.
