Everyone we came in contact with from Aira presented themselves well, were clear and professional and did what they said they would do. The initial contact and quote was followed by a survey which clearly confirmed the amount we would pay and how much government help we would receive. The installation date was agreed to suit us and in a timely fashion. The installation went to schedule, and the quality of the workmanship was first-class. The fitters were tidy, clean, respectful, and generally helpful. We hadn’t fully taken in the total amount of components and pipe work involved but solutions were found that work well for us. The explanation on completion told us how to control the system but we did find it took time to set the thermostat at a temperature that suited us - we were too hot! We found the app helpful and informative but complicated. The one or two queries we had subsequently have been responded to promptly and helpfully. We have no problem recommending Aira wholeheartedly.

The pre-installation work was very straightforward. The salesman explained the processes, carried out a survey which committed Aira, so we knew how much we would be paying and how big would be the Govt. grant. Aira were totally flexible regarding the dates for installation. The actual installation took the time predicted, and the quality of the workmanship was first-class. The fitters were tidy, clean, respectful, and generally helpful. The explanation on completion told us all we needed to control the system. The one or two queries subsequently have been responded to promptly and helpfully. We would recommend Aira for straightforward installation work. However, some friends who were incorporating heat-pump installation along with other building work found that the two working procedures were incompatible, and had to abandon the heat pump.

After working with Aira to agree the most efficient design (& the price) and which radiators to replace they removed our old gas boiler & 7 old radiators and replaced them with an 8 kW Aira heat pump, 250 litre water store and new radiators. (Note - We live in an Edwardian terrace house with uninsulated solid brick walls and other companies were quoting us for 12 Kw heat pumps). After a slow start on day one the work proceeded well and was completed in 6 working days. Aira operatives were friendly and efficient and were receptive to our ideas as to the heat pump location and how best to hide pipework. They agreed to do all pipework for new radiators above the floor to minimise disruption. Since installation the system has worked flawlessly with generous amounts of hot water for our two bathroom house and has effortlessly kept us warm through the winter (we just set the thermostat in autumn to 21.5 degrees and haven’t touched it since. We have set it up to automatically cool down by 3 degrees every night). The heat pump efficiency is generally around 500% in summer and 400% over the winter (varies by month). We are yet to complete a full year but current estimates point to annual savings giving a payback of around 8-10 years depending on how energy prices change into the future. We are also saving massive amounts of CO2 which for us was the main aim. Based on our experience we have no hesitation in recommending Aira for a heat pump installation.

The whole operation from the survey to the completion of the installation went smoothly. The company were very clear in their communication and the installation team explained each step to us. There was a very prompt response to an initial problem just after the installation. Since then the Air Source Heat pump has been working well, even in the coldest weather which can be -10degrees where we live. It also looks a lot better than some others we have seen.

We had a heat pump, new radiators etc fitted at the end of last summer. Initially, after a phone call, their representative came who I felt was a little pushy to get a contract signed by us on that day. I spoke to a more senior chap the next day felt happy to sign. Work started quickly once we confirmed we didn't need planning permission. Two Scott's for most of the week, good at explaining each stage and went to a lot of trouble to keep all the equipment at one end of the attic so it could be covered with a built in cupboard in the future if needed. We were hoping the old oil boiler would be taken out whole to give away, but the additional team that came that day took it out in bits unfortunately, so it was useless. Considering all the workers and equipment in the house it wasn't too chaotic and they kept mess to a minimum. I've needed to contact Aira to adjust the settings their end on a couple of occasions,as it's not been a problem. They recommend their (I thought) partner company to do the solar/Battery. This company have gone under within months (covered by hies) however the electrician arrived in an Aira van and uniform! Aira are now fitting solar and if they'd done ours the two could work in unison on the app, which would have been helpful in terms of energy saving. I would recommend them

Ultra efficient engineers
We were very impressed that the engineers arrived at 8am every day and started work immediately. They were very tidy workers who explained everything to us - we were able to use the house as normal. When installation was complete, the engineer showed us how the system worked and how to set the system to our liking via the app. The technical team promptly answered our questions and gave us alternative sizing options. Had no issues so far, we have a nice warm house. Overall a very good company to deal with.

Started and finished on time. Work carried out efficiently and very thoughtful. The only complaint is a side panel to a new radiator was damaged and reported with no response. During the checks carried out at a later date the panel was again reported and the serviceman agreed that it should be replaced. To date nothing has happened in that respect.

Aira completed the survey and provided a quote on day1. They responded promptly to further enquiries and we agreed an installation date. The ASHP was installed and commissioned on time and efficiently by Aira engineers who were polite and professional throughout. They impressed us with the care they took to ensure we were able to operate normally in the house while the rads were upgraded and the system installed. The ASHP has operated well and minor problems have been responded to promptly. Agreed maintenance has been carried out as promised.

Aira provided an extremely professional and top quality service all the way through the process from initial surveys right through to the completed installation and subsequent customer service. We set them an exacting challenge to replace the boiler and heat store, that was failing badly, with all the internal apparatus in exactly the same restricted space in the house with the connection to the new outdoor ASHP unit running through cupboard spaces. This they achieved with skill, expertise and a clever problem-solving approach. The ASHP system works really well with our underfloor heating and our house has never felt so comfortable to live in! The aftercare service has been great and any questions we’ve had have been addressed confidently and promptly. Brilliant outcome all round!

My system was fitted over a year ago. Customer Service was excellent. The engineers installed the system and several new radiators. They were efficient, quick, reliable and friendly. The work was carried out on schedule. During planning and fitting communication with Aira was great. There was a minor problem with one of the radiators, which we reported. This was rectified immediately. Since fitting, we have contacted Aira a couple of times. The Customer Service team is always responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. I don't have a moment's regret about engaging this company and having an air-source heat pump fitted.

12KW ASHP, we had a difficult installation, Stone cottage built pre 1861 and this involved the removal of the existing hot water tank and Oil Burner and install in different location with all pipes running through the roof which is low and limited space However they managed to install it, and on the Friday was given the choice to retain the old hot water tank for the weekend and they returned on the Monday to complete which went OK the pump was emitting a strange noise which has been remedied by Airia over thew winter we have been impressed with the heat from the radiators and the hot water, Overall very impressed with the installation team and the product, will defiantly be paying for the 10 year guarantee as this looks good value for money

I contacted AIRA in Feb/Mar 2025, was generally pleased with their proposal and price so proceeded to installation in April. The installation work was scheduled for four days, completed slightly early but at the stated price and very competently. Three chaps completed the work over the first two days, with the electrician not being required for the final two days. All of the AIRA contractors on site worked diligently and left the house in a very tidy manner, particularly bearing-in-mind that almost all of my radiators throughout the house needed to be upgraded/replaced. As we're now in March 2026, I can confirm that the system works well and I'm glad I made the investment in this green technology. I'm currently considering AIRA again for possible solar panels and/or battery storage as enhancements to my current system.

Very impressed with the whole thing from the initial rep who came to the house and measured everything to the full installation. Have had the heat pump running for nearly 4 months through some very cold times and was warm and cosy throughout. The fan is almost noiseless unless it needs to work harder when the outside temperature was getting to zero C; even then, it was not heard by our neighbours.

AIRA provided an excellent service from first contact to finish. Work was completed on time to a great standard. The team were (Jamie, Paul & Aron). They worked hard and cleared up at the end of each day. They were friendly and helpful and gave a clear briefing before leaving on completion. The system is now working well providing a warm cosy house and ample hot water. I would have no hesitation in recommending AIRA in fact my brother, on our recommendation in Herefordshire has now had a system installed and is equally delighted with the outcome. The work was carried out in 5 days, exactly as they said it would be, despite being initially delayed for hours by a major traffic disruption. The subcontracting workers were pleasant, professional and extremely hard working. The pipes were a work of art, brought to a very high standard, and the installation of the heat pump was done amazingly quickly. Aira are an excellent company who use their own employees and no contractors. They Installed the heat pump to our 1930’s house plus several new radiators and did a very neat and tidy job. They communicated at every step of the process and explained what they were doing. Completed on time in one week and on budget. After installation Aira monitor the heat pump and turned up unannounced when they detected a small problem. We are very happy with the heat pump it has kept us cosy during the winter with lots of hot water. We like the simple and easy to use Aira software.

I found Aira who were able to install a heat pump system. Aira's representative was not pushy and he new his subject and most informative, plus he advised about the Government subsidy. I didn't sign up immediately. A few weeks after agreeing to the installation Aira sent a surveyor who advised as to what the installation would need; replacing some radiators and placement of the unit. Arrangements were made as to the installation. The fitters needed complete freedom so I arranged to stay with friends during this period. On my return all was clean etc. I had one snag with the unit, the fitters had not opened an air bleed valve and the day after my telephone call their engineer came and sorted the problem. Since then no further issues. I am delighted at the installation, my home is nice and warm and I do not have to go outside to get coal etc. I software (IOS App) has been updated and now allows me to link timings with my electricity companies low charge times. The overall cost, the employees and Aira's equipment are exceptional. Running cost so far is is cheaper than coal/wood that I used and I in fact the heat pump is cheaper to use. My electricity bill has changed a little . Great company and service.

Aira installed our 7kW ASHP in May 25. Install took 5 days & the 3 man team worked efficiently with minimal disruption. However, we were plagued by multiple "Critical Errors" post install through the summer months which required many calls to Aira support. The system was only supplying hot water and we were never left without it, but the errors were disruptive and there seemed little initial focus by the support team on permanently fixing the cause. Eventually, it was identified as a basic plumbing error made by the installation team. An engineer came to redo the pipework in time for the indoor heating season and it's been problem free ever since. If you are used to doing your own plumbing & trouble shooting it's important to know that Aira only provides system control via their App. Aira has a full remote diagnostics overview of your system, but you as the end user/owner do not have access. This is of course all well and good when the system works well, but if the system falls over on a regular basis this can be quite frustrating, particularly if you are technically minded. However, this said our system was eventually made reliable. Its average COP since install to end Feb 26 was 3.75 for HW & CH and our electricity bill is 37% lower than our gas and electricity bill for the same period during our last year of gas CH. We're on an Octopus Cosy tariff & also have an old 3.1 kWp solar PV array with 13.5 kWh battery. Service & quality stars below reflect our initial experience.

My old oil tank developed a leak and I got somebody in replace and he said "No you don't one of those heat pumps", at which point I thought "hang on, maybe that's exactly what I do want", and I haven't really looked back. I had a colleague at work whose heat pump had been installed by Aira so I got them in to quote for me. I only got a quote from one other person and frankly he might as well have come in wearing a stetson and chaps and carrying a six gun (I think a lot of the bad press heat pumps get comes from people like that). I was very happy with how professional Aira were, and my colleague had no problems with his system. The installation went smoothly and on time, the whole installation is very neat, the pump itself fits very nicely where the oil tank used to be. They were a bit slow removing the packaging, but really, that's a minor point. I've been amazed by how smoothly the system has worked in the four and a half months since installation, with only minor tweaks needed to keep the house at the right temperature. The cost of heating (including electricity supplied from solar panels) is already much cheaper than the oil system. So, yes I'm 100% happy with this system. Also, very good to see the new Green MP for Gorton and Denton in one of your pictures !

Following a reasonably good installation we have now taken in our first winter. The System just runs in the background and doesn't really take much management. We found it hard initially to adapt to how Heat Pumps work though. They adopt a low and slow approach to heating your home as this maintains the highest level of energy efficiency. The Aira system targets increasing temp by 1 deg C every 4 hours which seems slow but when you consider it only does this once or twice a year from cold thats not an issue; the systems maintain a constant temperature 24/7, the house is always warm. Our efficiency ranged from 6.3 COP in September, to 4.4 in January as outside temperatures made the system work harder (note this is compared to 0.85 for a gas system thoug). The app is good but could do with a few tweaks like more options for the temp settings for the hot water, and more than 1 cooldown period. The night time cooldown is great but if you have people that work nights where some sleep in the day having 2 periods of cooldown would be an advantage. Aira should consider offering radiator stats like Hive, as these helped us better control temperatures in certain rooms, but we had to use Hive for that. The app would also benefit from a temparature graph to show daily fluctuations in room stat temp, again I had an old Hive stat that I set up to do this. Overall our I reckon I can reduce my energy DD from £170/ mth to £160 so not a great saving, but going green feels good

The house dates back in part to the 1700s or 1800s the original deeds were lost in a fire and the current ones date from 1827. The house was modernised in 1960 and extended in 1984. It has some solid stone walls and some cavity walls. We had heated the house using anotther provider, which we found suited us, but the cost kept going up and we couldn’t change supplier. I had seen an article on line about Aira and contacted them but they didn’t have installers in our area at the time but they asked if they could come back when they had a local team. Whilst it seemed an age at the time they phoned back and we started the process and all looked set fair for a summer installation. Until the council planning department called in the application. Despite there being no objections the council sat on the application until the very last day which took us towards the last week of November. Andy and his team were excellent and the heat pump, hot water tank, buffer tank and all the radiators were installed within the week. We had a minor glitch over the weekend but they kept the heating going remotely and the blocked filter was quickly sorted. House consistently warm, costs less than half, wife very happy. There are many articles that try to put people off heat pumps but what ever the system enough energy has to be pumped into the house to maintain the temperature and cope with the heat loss. We always ran the heating 24/7, Aira did the sums for their system it works beautifully.Thanks to all of you.

Pre-sales process was OK. It had the usual sales pressure tactics that consumers hate (time-based managers sales discount, referral discounts etc). Looking back they were not very good at the technical assessment stage. They specced a larger model first then later it was changed it to a smaller one which is affecting me now. Install was OK. Took 5 days and workers were clean, helpful and tidy. Hardware looks well-designed and sturdy. Workers were not able to finish provisioning process and I had to complete it myself over the weekend when support was limited. Initially I was impressed with what was offered in terms of support and comfort guarantee but after being in contact with them I’ve found it to be poor. Support is supposed to be 24/7 but I haven’t found it to be useful. Over the cold snap I logged a performance problem and asked for an engineer to come out but it took over a week. Replies from the support person takes days and weren’t useful. As I’m part of a group of Aira users I can tell that my system’s performance is way below others here in UK and now I’m having to argue my case with their support even though I would expect them to know this and even more to have been proactive. Because of this my usage cost is higher than expected. Overall what I’m receiving now isn’t in line what I’d expect for such a high installation and ongoing support cost.

Installation of 12KW Heat Pump System. The process of initial design work (including site survey) was handled quickly and professionally. This was needed due to the failure of the existing gas boiler system. The complex installation was carried out over a period of four days by a competent team with minimum disruption to the householder. Aira staff were respectful and kept the work area clean and safe. The installation was carried out on schedule and budget. Communication was always easy and clear. The required documentation was supplied on completion of the installation. A small leak on external pipework was discovered shortly after completion. Aira was informed and quickly carried out the necessary repairs. The Air Heat Pump system has been continuously running for 10 months and keeps our 5-bedroom house at a constant temperature of 20C throughout.

We had our system installed in late 2024 after our (15 year old) gas boiler packed in. A new boiler was £5k and our house is a 2011, well insulated build, so it was a no brainer to look at a heat pump. Aira were “mid-tier” on pricing but included the 15-year guarantee at the time for free. The installation team were superb, all craftsmen, taking a lot of care to do a good job. Our install involved quite a long run of piping and electrics as we wanted to put the external unit on the other side of the house. It looks very neat. Since then we’ve only had one call out to resolve declining pressure, which turned out to be a slightly leaking external valve. It was identified and resolved within 30 minutes, no issues since. The App has been improved substantially since we started, bugs fixed and new functions added. We basically just leave it to sort itself out and it keeps the house within 0.5C of the target temperature. It modulates down very well and so will happily potter along drawing around 500W when it’s not really cold. Our SCOP is around 4.5. Lowest it gets is 3.5 in mid Winter, rising to 5.5+ in Spring when temps are 10C+. We had our gas supply removed and our hob replaced with an induction. One point to note on running costs, we have solar + battery and this helps a lot keep costs low, as we can run 85%+ at off peak rates. Make sure you do the maths if you don’t. Given the 4 x cost difference between gas and electricity it may be marginal. We’re very happy with it.

Aira installed our heat pump over a few days in July 2024. They were a very professional team of plumbers and electricians who dealt with the space constraints expertly. The heat pump components were fitted while other building work was also taking place, and the Aira team were flexible in responding to another subcontractor completing our underfloor heating system. There was a delay in receipt of the thermostat, but this had minimal impact as the system had been installed in the summer. Aira were very quick to respond to any problems arising during the commissioning period. We are delighted with our heat pump and its performance.

Very quick to resolve minor issue
Recently contacted Aira with a minor heat pump issue. I phoned the team Monday morning 9am, by midday I had an engineer at my house solving the problem. Very friendly customer service, extremely quick to send out an engineer, and Alfred (the engineer) was very quick to locate and solve the problem. Very happy customer.

The full process from initial enquiry through to install and completion was excellent. The quote wasn’t the cheapest I received, but I was sold on the level of service, the quality of the product, and the warranty that came with it. The install was a bigger job than some as the house required a complete re-pipe. The team kept the house as clean as possible, putting floorboards and carpets back at the end of each day. The majority of radiators were replaced, and the finished install is neat and tidy. Since the install we’ve had a house that stays at a constant temperature no matter how cold it gets outside. We’ve also never once run out of hot water. The app to manage and control the system is very user-friendly. The system itself makes very little noise — I actually think it’s quieter than the gas boiler was. The install was completed in July 2024, meaning we’ve now had it for two winters. Bills have been slightly cheaper than with the previous gas combination boiler, but the biggest difference is how much more comfortable the house now feels. My experience with Aira from start to finish has been fantastic.

The best bit is the 15 year maintenace guarantee. This wasn't my initial top priority. I was just looking for low initial cost but am very glad that I ended up with Aira. There have been some issues but the way these have been dealt with in my case has been exemplary. Many issues can be sorted remotely (Thank God for the internet!) but on a Sunday when this was not possible an engineer drove immediately some 30 odd miles to fix the issue. Couldn't be better. This is not a "top of the range" service as the price is "competitive" so they don't do cosmetic re-instatement. If you need that then you have to factor in the extra cost. On the other hand when they found deficiencies in our existing infrastructre they upgraded it without asking for extra money. (Anticipating this was what swung my decision to choose Aira. Their quotation had no caveats in this area.) Small details: The neutral (muddy?) colour of the outdoor unit I prefer to the stark white of other units on the market. On the other hand the fan is not as quiet as some are ... but unless you live more than a half mile from the nearest road, or waterfall it's not going to be a problem.

We had a heat pump installed to replace an old Baxi back boiler installation in a standard terraced house (normal cavity wall insulation, loft installation and double glazing). The installation involved changing most radiators in the house and adding some new ones, a couple of these were not straightforward, and I was impressed with communication at the visit and planning stage, with different options considered and changes made to the installation as a result of my feedback. The trickiest part was probably some of the preparation needed by me prior to the installation, including installing a loft platform for the tank, but ultimately this was all fine. The removal and installation itself went smoothly. The communication throughout on progress/ queries from a friendly team was good (despite the team clearly being pushed for time). My only slight issue was I was told there was a component replacement needed that was promised to be fixed by a repeat visit by the electrician, this never happened but when I chased Aira I was assured there was actually not a problem. Since the system is working absolutely fine this seems to be true, and if there's any minor issue I hope it will be fixed at service. Carbon saving was our main motivation but due to the age of the previous installation I was hoping we'd also save money on bills and I'm now confident this is the case. Otherwise the system looks good, is very quiet, the Aira app is great, and the constant temperature is a real benefit.

Installation took 4 days, the team(Lloyd & Chris) worked on our existing pipe work, changing all radiators to new specifications for the system. They were professional and friendly at all times, keeping us updated on the progress of the install. System came online Thursday and before the team left the house was warming up nicely. Since then, we've been impressed with how warm the house has been in cold weather and how well the hot water system works in the summer and the winter. One of the unexpected benefits of the system is we no longer get condensation on the inside of our windows. The thermostat works well within the house but you do have to have it in the correct position. We have ours in the middle of the house away from any radiators. The heat pump is extremely quiet when operating. It's no louder than a domestic fan. Cool down settings for night operations(10pm -3am) reduces temperature by 1 to 2 degrees centigrade is best for comfortable sleeping and efficiency. The house is never cold being set between 22 and 23° c. In the summer months the system adjusts to only heating the water as heating is not required. We monitor the system through an app but the system is self managing. We have had no issues with installation & our first year living with our Aira heat pump. We would never go back to a gas boiler and would recommend Aira as first choice with the 15 year comfort and maintenance guarantee.

Great installation, price and equipment. Our heating bills have reduced. At the time Aira's deal for purchase and maintenance was the best on the market (and may still be). However the software is still evolving and every release has issues. Aira won't share their optimisation algorithm. My opinion is that this is still immature. They have listened to feedback on other areas and made changes. Overall very happy with the purchase but expecting more bumps over the next few years as the software catches up with the hardware and sales. Maintence is also an unkown.

First Winter with our new Aira Heat Pump

Aira fitted our new Heat Pump in July 2025. We also had piped underfloor heating installed downstairs at the same time but this was done by another trades person. The installation went very well and the team were very professional clean and tidy. There's a lot involved in retrofitting a heat pump into a 1990s house. There are many things to consider and some unexpected differences to our old gas boiler set up. Intially we found that the downstairs with the underfloor heating was getting much warmer than the upstairs with radiators. But an Aira engineer came out and spent a whole day checking everything and making the necessary adjustments. Since then we seem to have gone through our first winter with a nice warm home. 21 degrees all day long. I must admit I'm still trying to get the optimal setting to suit out house and our energy tariff, but like the whole energy transition thing, it's just a matter of experimenting and noting what works best. I've not noticed a huge difference in my energy bills, but again that's difficult to do a straight comparison as we now have an electric car, solar panels and house battery as well. I do know that the solar and battery set up saved us around £1000 in the first year and electric car another £1000. I've certainly not noticed any increase in my bills due to the heat pump. So far very pleased with the Aira heat pump.

Aira wanted to complete our installation within 5 days. They started on a Tuesday (after a bank holiday) and needed this Saturday to complete. Fortunately, the senior installers were able to accommodate staying late on that Saturday to get the job done. Prior to error being on site, I had arranged for some new pipework to be installed which will have saved Aira both time and money. However, Aira did not acknowledge this gesture. During the installation a small amount of damage to our property was encouraged, particularly wooden floors because the storage unit is so large I'm difficult to move in the confines of the house. We are fortunate to have sufficient loft space that the 100 litre secondary tank was able to be fitted without interfering with space at in all living areas. The installation has worked well over the last year after initial teething problems. Our house now remains at a constant 20° which we find very comfortable. We did try to set a lower temperature at night but were never able to achieve it because the system ignored the command! The hot water has also worked well. The system does require pumped water between the external heat exchange unit and the secondary tank and of course between the storage unit and all the house radiators. We are aware of an amount of water coursing noise in the house because of these two systems. This can be a little disconcerting. We have not needed to call upon Aira to revisit the installation over the last year.

We live in an 125yr old cottage with a 30yr old granny annex and always believed ASHP was for modern well-insulated houses. We had the survey done and the Aira technicians did a very thorough survey and built a virtual model of our house and ran it for a week or so to test that it reached and maintained the desired temperature. (19.5C in house & 21.5C in the annex). Although our house is old with all solid walls we do have modern double glazing and quite good celotex roof insulation. Because of the guarantee of the required temperatures and the fact that all the equipment was Aira’s and that they didn’t use subcontractors we decided to go ahead. The whole experience was great. From initial enquiry to final commissioning everyone of the Aira staff couldn’t do enough to please. We got a well-designed, well-installed split system with 2 thermostats and 5 upgraded radiators out of 15. Nothing was rushed and everything was clean & tidy. We have just lived through our first winter with the system running 24/7. Yes we have used more electricity but no where near the cost of £1300 we were spending on heating oil and boiler servicing. Yes we have got solar panels and a battery, but we believe even without this there would still be a saving. We won’t know until a year has passed how much we have saved, but it’s looking substantial. The other major plus especially for my elderly mother is that the house & annex is always warm & we have loads of hot water. We’re very pleased with Aira

We moved into a bungalow which had a gas boiler that was 14 years old. We decided that rather than wait for it to fail we would research the market. Having done much reading we set about sorting insulation measures prior to having an air source heat pump installed. The property was listed with an EPC of E so we had cavity wall insulation and hubby set about the loft which was poorly insulated. We chose Aira as we thought they would have a lot of experience (60pc of homes back in their country were on heat pumps). The installation was easier than we were expecting. We had to have 2 extra radiators added and 3 of the existing ones upgraded. There was hardly any mess and I can honestly say we have never been warmer. We were able to take advantage of the government grant and this was all taken care of by Aira with no hassle for us. This made a big difference to overall cost..... And we have gone green saving tons of CO2 going into the atmosphere.

We had a 8kW Outdoor Unit, 250litre Indoor Unit, 40ltr buffer and all pipework and electrics, plus 12 Radiators as part of our new Air Source Heat Pump system. We also had Solar Panels and Batteries installed by the Sister Company (All Seasons) From Quote to Install the whole process was smooth, efficient and simple and we were kept informed throughout They even allowed us to purchase a Designer Radiator for our Kitchen because it was on show and their standard one was not suitable cosmetically in our opinion. They were very helpful in advising what criteria the radiator needed to meet, and were more than happy to fit it as part of the job The installation Team(2Plumbers&1 Electrician)were extremely pleasant and friendly and very considerate of our Residence. They took 4 days in total, driving down to the Midlands from North West on Day1 and then staying in a Local Hotel until the job was finished. They started early in the morning about 8 am and worked continuously until 5-6pm with a brief lunch break. They were a joy to have work for us. It has been a year since system installed and we are extremely happy. House has been warm during the wet cold winter. Hot water readily available. Quiet outdoor Unit. Aira App allows adjusting settings and viewing of output as well as Holiday settings when heating/water not needed. It has been a lot cheaper than old Oil Central Heating System(though mainly due to Solar, which strongly recommend) A minor issue after install was fixed rapidly

Didn’t pay too much attention to the sales meeting. It was a usual meeting with a sales person. Tech survey was good. There was a glitch at the design stage - the initially proposed design simply wouldn’t fit into the dedicated space. I’m not sure if it was an issue in tech survey or a miss on the design stage. When I saw the design I clarified all dimensions for the equipment it became obvious it would be impossible to fit. But the issue was quickly fixed - the design team suggested an amended design that was feasible. Installation went smoothly, the team was attentive to the pipes allocation to make the outside part of the installation better looking and less disruptive. The whole setup including an all-in-one unit and 100l buffer was fit into a custom kitchen unit. System performance is above expectations, it’s Ben performing better than the previous boiler based system (that was 2yo) even at a higher setpoint temperature at the highest comfort level. A bit disappointing the system doesn’t provide any means to monitor its consumption for smart home systems, it would make the system even better. In tandem with a battery the system worked cheaper than gas every single month of the heating period

I was a bit concerned about having a heat pumpdue to a previous experience but after some research I contacted Aira. They could not have been better. Fully explained the system to me in terms I could understand and detailed what would be my experience of the install. They two installers were most respectful of my home and worked for two days arriving when they said they would and leaving the place clean and tidy when they left. Before finally leaving they explained the system again and took me though the app in order that I had full control. During this year I have had two very minor problems and the response was very quick in fact they attended the next day and fixed the issue. Firstly I would highly recommend a heat pump to anyone considering it. We have saved over £100 per month to date. When we were considering installing a heat pump we spent much time researching the market, bot on the equipment side and looking at installers. Heat pump installation and controls are critical. Incorrect installation can be very costly throughout the life of the heat pump. My control engineering background helped with both aspects: I was able to assess the equipment and also make sure that the installers knew what they were talking about during the initial visits and in their quotes. We had five visits and four quotes, and this is my advice to anyone planning to have a heat-pump installed. Keep asking questions, get several quotes. Aira stood out in terms of the T&Cs as well as my perceived know-how of their designers. And we are not disappointed. A year and four months later we are still enjoying an efficient heating system, its set-and-forget well-designed controls, and above all a warm and healthy house with no on-off of high heat gas powered heating, no fluctuating temperatures, no cold spots. The installation did not involve lifting the floorboards, just replacing the radiators, adding some, and of course removing the old gas boiler and installing the new HW tank and the "machinery". The installers spent a working week with us - the experience was excellent. In spite of a relative (controllable) upheaval they have shown care and respect, and high professional skills. Customer support was responsive and effective. I highly recommend Aira.

A 4 - day installation of 8 radiators and heat pump. All carried out with care by an experienced team. As soon as the system started up we could feel the warmth spreading throughout the house. Places that had never been warm with the old gas boiler were suddenly comfortable to sit in. It was like those adverts you see with snow on the ground outside whilst people are sitting on the warm on the other side of the window! Monthly bills dropped from £177 to £120. Also no need to keep the gas boiler maintenance insurance. The number pipes and tanks that are required to support the pump were a bit of a shock, but with care by the installers they were all fitted into existing cupboards and our utility.

We took the leap to move away from our oil fired heating and hot water setup and have an ASHP. After looking around and listening to several companies offerings we chose AIRA. Our house is over 200 years old, but we do have recent double glazing and an insulated loft. The whole process was mapped out after several surveys (during which the size of ASHP required was reduced), and we had an installation date set for the begining of June 2025. On the first day of installation the team arrived, along with a lot of kit to be installed, and they immediately started the work. It took 3 and a half days to install the kit (and upgrade 4 radiators) and the team were extremely efficient, cleaned up as they went, and explained what they were doing as they went along. On the first day the installation team identied a flaw in the system design that required an extra pump to be installed, and this was supplied and fitted at no cost to us, as the issue was with the AIRA design. Once completed we were walked through how to control the system with the App, and all rubbish (and there was a lot) was removed by AIRA, so everything was left clean and tidy. We have only had one issue which was when an App upgrade caused the hot water function to be turned off, but this was rectified within an hour or so. I would use AIRA again in the future without hesitation, and willingly recommend them to family and friends.

Almost everything was excellent, and I am now, after my first winter, very happy to be a heat pump owner. The system definitely uses less electricity (by cost to run) than my gas boiler used to. There were a couple of glitches during installation but the Project Manager was very proactive in coming up with solutions which I believe cost AIRA extra, but no complaints from their side. There was some post-install snagging but engineer ANDY wouldn’t rest until these were all solved. So a few weeks inconvenience, true, but now all is good. I think AIRA did a good job overall. They also handled the whole Government Grant side of things so I paid for less than 50% of the system value.

Quick straightforward planning and installation. Aira stood by initial quote despite deciding to install a larger heat pump and more radiators later in the design process. They were also very understanding when there was a delay in money coming from a government grant and loan. One slight troubleshooting issue following installation was sorted almost immediately. Process from survey, quote and to installation was excellent. Now, we are off gas and supporting Climate action whilst living in a warm house. With Octopus Go and Cosy, bills are no more expensive and probably cheaper than on gas. And once electricity pricing is reformed to reflect the lower and less prone to tutors party influences of Gas then this will be even better. So forget Daily Telegraph nonsense and switch now!

First of all, I'm extremely reluctant to leave a review that is critical of any business. I've only done it before to warn of a scam. I've thought long and hard before leaving this review. For me, the test of how good any business is is how they behave in the event something goes wrong. Do they resolve the problem? I originally had a Heat Pump installed by Aira in June 2024. That was followed by the Aira Solar and Battery in November 2024. There were problems with both installations, but I'll talk only about the Heat Pump here. The Heat Pump system was a mix of excellent planning and suboptimal installation that took longer than originally planned and left a long snagging list. To their credit, Aira did return on multiple occasions to fix all the snags to my satisfaction. But the system does not work. For a long time, the system pumped out excessive heat and could not be stopped. This has been partially rectified. (the sensor in the buffer tank not inserted fully issue). More recently, the system demands huge amounts of energy and supplies excess heat when not required. The thermostat seems to have no material effect. When this issue was raised, I believe their tech support changed something remotely. Now, the system struggles to maintain 17 degrees and will just not warm up. Out-of-hours calls are answered but never followed up. Customer Service, during office hours, seems to care little about no heating nor inability to meet their "comfort guarantee". Avoid.

Following our brilliant installation on the 7 March, we had Charlie and Ryan (Operations Service Manager), back on site for a couple of days to iron out some teething problems and true to form, they were yet again outstanding. Stripping down my UFH manifold, replacing old valves and flow meters, resolving a flow issue with my main bathroom, flushing the entire system and balancing it again with exquisite precision. So glad I chose Aira, out of my 5 contenders, and got the 15-year peace of mind parts and labour warranty, which I have already needed to access and they delivered. To my mind, these guys are the John Lewis of Heat Pumps and I feel very supported by the Facebook customer group called ‘AIRA heat pump owners UK’, which is friendly and supportive. John, Asher and Kishore were first-class ambassadors of Aira, working with total professionalism, creativity, flexibility & tenacity. Each and every day they were working by 8am and some days did not finish until 8pm without taking a break during the day with Kishore the electrician, putting in an 8 am to 11 pm one day. Nothing was too much trouble and this team truly went the extra mile. Based on the quality of Aira's Heat Pump, their exemplary service and the deep knowledge and experience of their System Design Engineers, installation teams and on-call engineers, and their 15 years warranty, I have no hesitation in recommending them as the first choice for heat pumps.

After researching a number of ASHP providers, I eventually chose Aira. From start to finish, the process was smooth and painless. The installation undertaken when promised and what I believe is the best-looking ashp on the market was fitted. All the installers were polite and always tidied up at the end of the day. Just under three days fitting for a 5-bed house. The results are amazing. Comfortable heat throughout the house, on-demand piping hot water, and a reduction in utility bills.

We had an air source heat pump fitted along with replacement radiators in February. What a pleasant experience from the start to finish. The job took 3 days but they were always here prior to 8 and definitely put a full day in. Polite and tidy and even supplied electric fan heaters for the evenings during the install during probably one of the coldest spells this year. What a difference it has made, hot water on demand, a comfortable heat all the time (no ups and downs in temperature) and one of the best looking heat pumps on the market. Id have no issues recommending their products as well as their installers, in fact I already have.

We had a full 8KW Aira air source heat pump, compact indoor unit, hot water cylinder and radiator system installed. The team started on Tuesday and finished the commissioning on Friday afternoon. They were very courteous, friendly and professional. The team was Paul, Ian, Andrew and Liam. Our home was respected as they put down protective plastic on the floor and moved furniture out of the way and back when they were completed. We wanted some changes during the installation and they were happy to oblige. They were timeous each morning and nothing was too much effort including moving an already installed radiator. The cost was within the range that we had expected, and we feel we got value for money. Not the cheapest, but we believe that you get what you pay for. We love the extended warranty and that Aira is a one stop shop so if we have any issues we have one point of contact. The app is great as its easy to use (We are App for dummy's people) and did what we wanted and more. Simple, intuitive and connected easily with the Cosy tariff to help us save money. Overall a positive experience.

From start to finish everything went really well, I made the phone call, they came out and talked me through everything step by step. Then they came and measured it all up, and explained what would need moving for a hassle free installation, they made it a simple process, then the actual installation, it took 5 days and there was hardly any mess whatsoever, and the 3 lads who installed it was very friendly hard working and they got on with the job, they explained everything we needed to know about the easy to use app. And now 3 months down the line the heating workers brilliantly it has made a big difference to our house, we had modern storage heaters before, but the aira heat pump beats them without a doubt. The whole experience with Aira is highly recommended without a doubt they are very professional in every way, not one negative from start to finish.
